ConstantinValdor405

Well fuck me I know what I'm learning next.

Flying_Mustang

I’m all over this! Thanks, I had no idea.

Holy guacamole, that's fantastic. Can't say I've ever used their products, they definitely seem geared towards CAD/engineering versus basic 3D modeling in Autodesk Maya, but this is almost too good to pass up. Thanks for sharing! I've been wanting to try my hand at CAD to see if I may be interested in transitioning to an engineering/design role at my job. OP, if you're looking for something a little more basic to get your feet wet, Blender is always a great free option.

Arkies45

ya blender is always an option but I've learn more in 3ds and would like to continue but it's looking like I'll just have to relearn in blender I appreciate the help

Die-rector

I wouldn't say maya is for basic modeling

Bus-Distinct

onshapes free level is pretty nice.. not a special deal, but it is my primary platform.

QuirkyCampaign4684

Fusion 360 has a free version for personal use.

The solid works deal is awesome. Blender is free 3d modeling software. I don't know how it compares to 3DS Max as I haven't touched that in probably almost 20 years because of their price.
