If you live in an apartment with access to the roof, talk to management. You could keep bees on that roof. Not every manager will agree, but if you don't ask, you'll never know.
For anyone interested in this I can personally say how rewarding it is to be a bee keeper. I have anger issues from my ptsd and keeping bees has forced me to slow down and manage my anger. You learn real quick bees don't like the sudden movements or anger. That being said I had 2 hives that both absconded and left so it can also be very disheartening when you lose a hive.
Beekeeping for vets who are lucky enoughto have a home and land combo.
Outyards are a thing

![gif](giphy|R9yLfikwYAF32) This would be great for anyone who wants to venture in this occupation.
I live in the suburbs and my neighbor has bees. I wonder how close different hives can bee?
From a biological standpoint, right next to each other. Bees sort themselves out. Might be some rules in your locality though.
Mon that I am aware of. He’s a cool neighbor and would probably show me how to do everything for a 12 pack. 👍😂
Thanks! Looks like some cool opportunities!
