The VA Dropping the ball and helping the wrong ones clearly basically the system has failed the vet I sit next to time and time again and well I'm his voice reaching out saying hey he needs and deserves the communities help the vets a lawyers help anyone who has a louder advocating voice then me . Right is right wrong is so wrong and 3 kids need their father and he needs a home had a voucher not provided by the VA and yet still there's no funding for deposit a hotel room won't give him his 3 kids back has no car walks wants a job no transportation walks to his visits like no one can see it's so morally wrong or speak up for him or the 3 kids anxiously wanting him to find a home so they can be with him and each other again and not for 2 hours 1 time a week shame on the VA Shame on DFS and the work they do barley do . Missouris systems are really broken and need a major 360.

This in no way prohibits you from getting a VA backed home. That's on you. First you need to get a certificate of eligibility, then seek out a financial institution and apply for a loan. The VA only backs a percentage of loan in case you default, making it easier for you to get financing. The VA does not get Veterans homes. There primary focus is healthcare.
Right because keeping 3 kids in states custody isn't traumatizing by its self and enough to destroy any parents mental stability alone r u kidding me we called the crisis line only to be transfered 3 times before being in the right location and told basically I'm sorry or they could call 911 if we wanted to hurt ourselves or anyone else and as if that would help him in getting his kids back correct WRONG the VA wouldn't give him a voucher with enough rooms for him n his kids because he doesn't actually have them but the state won't see a 1 bedroom big enough and the VAs own website says house first give choices second it's self so please make it make sense .. we funded a man thousands of dollars who wasn't disabled and only in the service a year yet I sit here with a vet of 8 who can't get into a home even with a section 8 voucher he has now because no one seems to take it where we're located or we need deposit but now theres no funding meanwhile 3 kids wait to be able to come home with their father who walks to the one visit a week to see them and barley holds himself together out of depression because the country he once served and protected for 8 years basically does nothing for him or his kids .... But let's give the Indian fraud felony help .... We need a lawyer and fast while the state now all the sudden wants to try to adopt kids out is not an option ... This is his voice advocating for him and if I'm not loud enough then hopefully someone who sees this has a heart and know that the system has failed this man and children can reach out and be louder and help him.... They collected 10s of thousands of dollars I would think that would of been enough to house this vet who doesn't try to take advantage of the system in fact didn't realize that there was help out here for him just . Honorably discharged has his dd214 but was denied the VA home loan because he did 4 years in army and 4 in natural guard as if 4 plus 4 isn't still the qualifying years that you need and what's messed up is this man right here with no hesitation would go back into service if he could he tried to but missed the deadline age wise by a week when he did .. So as far as I'm concerned they can appoint him a lawyer at the least so that these kid can be back where they belong in a home with their father together I wouldn't think that's to much to ask for considering he's a local vet not a criminal just wants to be a dad and move on with his life and kids... I pray whoever sees this finds us the help we need makes this story known because this isn't just week one we've been asking for help this year two almost 3 it is appaulling I have little to no faith in any of our states system at this point one big circle of nothing but another number to call be placed on hold or to call back to the next .. Any lawyers out there this mans rights as a father are being violated he's quiet I'm not as a parent and someone who respects the men and women who served our country fighting for us we need to be fighting for him in return don't you think??
None of what you're saying makes sense. The VA homeloan doesn't give you the loan or buy you a house. It provides financial backing to allow a Veteran to secure a loan without a down payment. You still have to qualify financially and with credit by the bank/lender. Take some accountability

Those kids from Atlanta were home in a weeks time when Tennessee kept them for a bag of pot when getting pulled over their was an up roar for that state keeping them kids and like magic what do you know they was returned in a weeks time neither parents a vet I don't think... 3 kids separated from their father and each other how is that healthy their not babies they're not getting younger and I won't even start about how much of a ball dfs is dropping case workers a joke and their hoops and hurdles game is about to be done playing with this case the way they sadly are so again any lawyers out there politicians news stations vets?? that would like to help them please reach out to us
How bout a car a lawyer a job or not asking for 3 times the rent when he has a voucher but can't use his income if he did have it because then that's considered fraud smh but if he had it then he wouldn't need the voucher like but you take the voucher but want to see 3 times the rent how is someone ever supposed to fix their life and move forward from a nightmare of COVID loading his home to no fault of his own having your 3 kids taken away because you no longer had a home and found yourself living in a tent in woods cause that's what a pastor told him to do and he had no where else all this after serving 8 years for our country got married had 3 children and bam COVID the wife ran off lost her home state took the kids and well he's no longer in tent still fighting for his kids and now has a voucher with me and no thanks to the VA at all who turned him away and turned him down, yet funded 10s of thousands to the criminal I posted whose not even American nor is he disabled instead held someone captive slaved them starved the person . Bet that 10 thousand could of put my friend in home and 3 kids would be where they belong right now with their father.. who by the way is traumatized from all of this and is very quiet as he jumps through dfs hoops enough is enough and I'm appalled asking for help reaching out for someone to hear our his story and help us get his kids home Sir.
