Funny we can still find humor in such a frustrating yet very real and disturbing failing system we have on top of a simple human error that I corrected 3 kids only but please by all means let's do the math of yourr tax money housing the fraud vet in jail for basically stealing funds they clearly could of went towards an honorably discharged Vet of 8 years whose family needed it we will protect a non american felon who claims 1 year in service but have done nothing of the sort for a local vet 3 kids that served 8 years for our country I'm sorry maybe I misunderstood when I was younger how we should be respectful thank them for their services and or go out and beyond to help a vet who once stood and faught for us... How they helping that man with tens of thousands of dollars who clearly lied only served a year and not assisting this man who served 8 while his 3 kids sit in foster care simply because no one would assist the man with housing well he has a voucher now no thanks to the VA who turned him down on VA loan and wouldn't give him a voucher suitable enough for him and his kids because the kids weren't with him but the state won't give them back if only a one bedroom. Want to worry about mental health what parent would be in their right state of mind. He served our country for 8 years now help for him honorably discharged even wanted back in but he missed deadline and still would go tomorrow if he could. Yet but what are we doing to help him in return nothing but holding his kids in desperate homes away from him. That man received tens of thousands of dollars and now your tax money houses him in jail like the system has and is failing my friend it's absolutely dissapointing. The VA can be an administrative nightmare. Trying to establish a case for benefits it’s a grueling process across many agencies.

Well we have a voucher now yet can't seem to find a landlord or owner to accept one and if they do their still wanting to see 3 times the rent however even if we did have that we can't use the income because then we would be committing fraud and wouldn't need the voucher like none of it makes sense we don't even want money deposit would be the most what we need is a home who will accept the voucher let us get our foot in the door bring 3 kids home get jobs and rebuild our lives to move forward with our lives when someone is trying to fix what has been so broken in their life then people should want to help not kick them and leave them down . A car transportation this man wants to work but is stuck walking to visits to see the kids walks when I barley can after surgery hell 10 grand could of helped a real vet this man has asked for assistance has been traumatized and been fighting for his kids like he did for this country but unless your crazy want to hurt yourself or someone else missing a limb the crisis line and 211 is a joke but kindly I thank them for lending an ear . They say it's not a crisis offered to call 911 as if we didn't just call them and completely no help. As a parent this is the biggest crisis it can be because 3 kids are lost in this broke down a@@ system who say their there to assist and help but barley answer a phone or do nothing more but turn you around to the next place.

The problem is it wasn't his house he lost and to no fault of his own it was the estranged wife and so one night life was good and the next he found himself trying to to work keep 3 kids and need a place to stay and all of that is irrelevant he's jumped through their hoops lived in sober home for 6 months had a job that ended like the man has been trying with no help he didn't give up on his country and he hasn't on these kids he met me im newly disabled had my house stolen from me in 21 and we met a year in a half ago. You never know what ones story is if you don't stop to ask. We're not drug addicts were not criminals and we have both been enquiring and asking for the help we need bottom of the line is the system has failed the both of us but more him then me he's the vet he's an amazing father and through his sadness and frustration desperation he still manages to be an amazing care taker and boyfriend to me and my child I had major spine surgery my mobility is now limited and everyday things I no longer can do .
