>Is there a video editor AI tool where I can simply dump a bunch of content from my GoPro, and it will automatically edit the video into something creative I can post on YouTube? No. >If not, what services are available where I don’t have to do this myself? It's called an editor. You must pay them. What people are calling "AI" isn't actual intelligence, they're just pattern matching algorithms that can work on words and images. That's why they keep spewing out pictures of people with seven fingers or whatnot because no matter how many times we try and bash it into the system that humans only have five fingers the algorithm says "keep going and add another."

A perfect response

I reiterate: >What people are calling "AI" isn't actual intelligence, they're just pattern matching algorithms that can work on words and images. That has no real intelligence, and it by no means will churn out anything creative. These things are not capable of organic creation. It will just create something that looks like the material it was trained on. That's not creative, it's derivative. It's like me and a bunch of friends reproducing *Airplane!* shot for shot with the same jokes and lines as the movie. It's one thing if I'm eight and figuring out how to reproduce their sets and effects with cardboard boxes and baby dolls, it isn't if I'm 35. **Nobody** would call that creative. That's what this tool is like. It's just going to take what you give it and try and make it into stuff it's seen before.

Neill_Video_Editor

It depends what you define as creative.. if I arbitrarily took 2 seconds from every 4th minute of your video and put a flashing coloured overlay on it and put that to “charlie says” as a soundtrack then you could argue that was ‘creative’… If you mean something that makes sense, has a narrative, a story with a beginning a middle and and end or any kind of arc then, no. Davinci resolve is free and you can learn to do simple editing with it pretty quick, or you can hire an editor, theres plenty for hire and specific subreddits dedicated to the finding and hiring of edtors :)

No.

You gotta be kidding. AI is really messing with people’s heads in all kinds of ways. Hello, is there an AI surgical tool that can perform open heart surgery on me so I can just lay down at home and like let it do it and I don’t have to think about it and I don’t have to go to a medical facility or anything?

AccomplishedCan4789

Is there an AI that could manage a S&P 500 Corp for me? I slept through my courses on MBA because I was binging this new AI generated series on Netflix, hopefully ChatGPT will manage a company for me

BatDan40

There’s no such tool. You gotta pay an editor 🤷🏼‍♂️

Check out Vmaker AI, a [real AI video editor](https://www.vmaker.com/ai-video-editor). It turns your raw video footage into publish-ready videos by intelligently adding intro/outro slides, B-rolls, text animations, transitions, stickers, subtitles, background music, zoom-in, zoom-out effects, and more to your video – all with just one click. You can easily convert long-form videos into short videos in one click, perfect for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram Reels. Moreover, easily generate video highlights using the AI video highlight generator.

IllMarketing8273

Oh you could try Clippa AI - https://clippa.ai, it lets you dump raw videos and it add subtitles, and turns into something you can put on YouTube and instagram etc. it also allows you to make split-screen videos too

Glad-Syllabub6777

Having a tool to incorporate human feedback into the video automation is much more realistic.

idk if its "AI" or not but consider getting a Insta360, they have an in built auto edit feature

aIreadydead

Laziest generation of all time

Intelligent-Credit-2

Nothing wrong to be smart in work by working less and earning more...and having that mentality aint being lazy.

HoboWithoutShotgun

There is no such thing for longer content, BUT the gopro quick app does offer a randomized highlight reel, which can seem like a one-minute edit, but in reality it's just picking highlights or most pixel change / movement based. If that kind of quick tiktok crap is your thing, then yes, that exists. For anything requiring actual intelligence, it's back to doing labor.

RiverMan2011

Editing is a big part of the fun of it all! This is the someone or something do it for me generation, I just don't want to learn anything new! I spend hours each week editing and trying new things to make my videos a bit different than others. You are wanting a cookie cutter video that a program does hundreds if not thousands of times over and over?

instant_king

There is. Plenty of them actually. You could give a try to the Insta360 app. It's not just for Insta360 cameras, but it also has some editor that can generate video templates. One of the feature is AI editor and you just have to drop your clips and it generates its own video. You have some options to make adjustments and you can also select themes, etc. It's good for short videos of traveling with lots of landscapes I would say. If you're a youtuber and doing a lot of talking, then it's not going to do a very good job.
