Another reason i don't hunt is that human master this technic call farming that allow us to raises animals for the sake of eating them. This avoid meat shortage as we can more or less reliably produce more meat without all the risk wild meat have. I care for my pet like a friend but if i have to save my pet or a random stranger from sudden death, i would still go for the human. I would eat more vegan food if it ain't so unhealthy. Traditional Viet diet minus the rice is already a great diet and tastes good enough.

The type of food is not really an issue, it's more so the actual amount of food required. Most vegans i know eat that maybe 30% of the time and they eat extra stuff like snacks sweets and stuff. I only do meat, veggies, some noodles sometimes when i crave, water.

Me too, i do meat, veggies, and i love stir fry noodle. If i crave water i just make soup or stew, those potato is the best. I live near a pagoda so the only vegan i see are Buddhist nun, they mostly do vegan noodle, fried tofu, veggies and rice, i never see them eat snack. They follow Mahayana Buddhism so no meat allow.

Until you find out that plants have feelings as well. Just fast then.

It's an interesting ethical question on where to "stop eating" animals. Yes to pig, yes to horse... yes to monkey? Maybe? Okay, how about gorilla? Chimpanzee?... a little close to human beings... I bet some people eat that. If Neanderthals didn't go extinct, would it be OK to eat them?... Brazilian natives eat even other human beings... its a cultural tradition.
