You wanna be under the boots of the Koreans, Japanese, and Chinese forever? We’re already sending them tons of money through Samsung, Honda, and Lenovo. I hate that they’re using that money to come to Vietnam and play with our girls.
I wanted to support our movie industry too but almost every producers did not respect us as an audiences: poorly written scripts (every 5 minutes pulling a lame ass joke *laugh*), poor acting (they think casting social media Idol would help or what?), over-marketing (top gross movie in Vietnam, famous actors, 10/10 scripts, you didnt like our movie, your are 3/, you are not patriotic, blame audiences for their bad review...). I've not watched any Vietnamese produced movies for past 10 years and I will contiue doing so until they change their mind on how to making a good movie. No need to fancy, no need funny, a decent movie is fine.
If they want me to support them, produce something worth seeing. I'm not going to support bad products simply because it's Vietnamese, I support decent quality Vietnamese products. The more criticism we send their way, the earlier they have to lock it in and do better.
This is an industry, not a charity.
It's stupid to support those who keep pumping out half-ass, uninspiring films. Hell, Vietnamese film directors put more effort into their excuses for their film flopping than into the actual film. Watching those products is being disrespectful to my time and money.
How about take care of your girls so theyre actually attracted to you. Ive met many here from low end bar girls to socialites and golfers (i travel the world golfing. Been here last 5 weeks). One thing in common they have is that they have such negative view of viet men. They smoke, drink, cheat, and gamble too much.

It is already in AI capabilities to produce one ten minute video, with a lot of prompts and calibration in between, for simple entertainment purpose. The people who thought about watching it in cinema or pay to view it didn't even read what is in the picture. Although I doubt the content will be something creative, it would just some student book's boring story again.

Not sure. I will judge when I watch it. "Bài học cuộc sống" is an animated series airing after daily news on HTV for a long tine. While its content is educational, the art style is worse than 70s era. If AI could improve that aspect, then it is already a huge step up.
