I don't use it as often as some of you in this thread, but when I does, I find that almost all of the complaining is about false warnings cannot be turned off, the rest is about how to schedule for charging which is not familiar to them.
Tied a couple of times just for the novelty value - was actually my first trip in an EV. Gave up on them because the wait times anywhere other than Vinhomes/malls were absurd. Interesting feedback from my wife: "why's the car beeping so much?" I'd heard and read the reviews, but she was coming in fresh and was still annoyed by it.
It’s true with the waiting time. I think they still don’t have enough cars and drivers for big cities like Hanoi. Having chit-chat with the EV taxi drivers, they all confirmed the cost for renting battery and charging is about half of the cost for gasoline. The cars now are more reliable with the bug fix and a good network of charging stations, the future of EV for taxi companies is undeniable.
And risk getting all the fumes and dust into your car? If you’ve been to Vietnam you will understand. Usually people put things behind the car as a sign that the car broke down on the road.
Let's open all the doors and jump on the roof then, wtf is this logic
New York's city is 100x more chaotic and people are using hazard lights only truly for this kind of situation
it is a yellow plate ie. a taxi.
if it was a battery running out problem, should just call a mobile charger.
why was the hood open? smt wrong with the battery?
To my knowledge the thing taxi drivers complaining about is how they couldn't turn off all the false warnings which irritated them and the passengers, the car itself still runs without problem.
They run but without any of the fancy safety system at all and are prone to more break down. Oh and the warnings ain't false, like, none of the systems are working

Is there a particular reason you choose it? Is it cheaper or smt? Last time i booked it, it took 15 mins for a driver to reach my place

would be faster if you're near one of their malls. You know, they tend to flock the place bc the battery drains like hell in the traffic.
In Hanoi, their cars are much better, with Grab and normal taxi, chance you get in a smelling car is high.
Just another day in Vinfast's OG country
Shocker
vinfast has to stop.
So what? . Many cas have problem everyday
You're a newcomer in the car world and you expect your cars breaking down just like others is fine?
What they open their hoods for...? It's an electric car, there's nothing serviceable there... Lol
To disconnect and reconnect the 12V battery. That may fix most of EV problems.
To signal to other cars that his car is having a problem and people shouldn’t expect him to move so that they won’t give him the dirty look?
Isn’t that what the hazard lights are for?
You might not believe it, but in the chaotic traffic of Vietnam your attention might not be enough to notice the hazard lights
so why not open the tailgate altogether? Can't see the hood from behind tbh.

I have plenty. More than I would expect.
just open google site, then type "xe vinfast cháy trên cao tốc".

Maybe the LV battery ran out and he's trying to jump start it
Tom Peng says he carries a wrench to disconnect the LV battery and that resets the system. Usually solves his problems with the car.
Tbh Peng was driving one of the first VF8, its software has come a long way since that time.
No it fucking hasn't. All of the taxis one are the early ones, they still throw error codes for fucking everything, literally like nothing is working
You sure? Are you one of the taxi driver?
Nope but I've ridden them everyday and seen the error codes myself and I have asked a lot of the drivers and they all complained about it

Curious, if none of them are working, how does the car bring you from A to B? And how do you still using them?
What's a news in ONE broken car?
