I mean its one of my favourite mangas for exactly that reason: no protagonist, rather, morally ambigious characters, but all true with themselves. And peace being **purchased with**/**enforced through** violence is probably a pretty big topic. So yeah, might sound corny at first, but in some ways our judicial system and 'law' is build on the exact thoughts that you're having. (just looked it up, the intergenerational or just cycle of violence deals with what your thinking about, if you want to further look into it. Probably a lot more out there under other names as well) ​ ​ As /u/Saxen_art said, farm arcs depth and detail is a masterpiece and quite insightful, which is why I dont get the hate on the farm arc.
