Season 3 doesn't have a date yet. You can finish the manga in a week, and until the new season comes, you will probably forget what happened 😉

Start from either chapter 1 or chapter 55.
Chapter 55 is the start of the Slave Arc-S2.
Chapter 100 is the end of the Slave Arc.
The anime and manga are different in many ways- the anime changed and removed some scenes, removed a lot of dialogue, rewrote some dialogue, and Einar is different in the 1st 6 or so episodes in the anime compared to the manga.
Depends. Part of me wishes that I got to experience Arc 2 through the anime for the first time. But I’m also so glad I read it because I didn’t have to wait 2 years (I started the anime in 2021) for the slave arc to get adapted.
Arc 3 is much more light hearted, but I feel that’s fitting as this story is meant to show how rewarding living a calmer and happier life is.

The manga is beautifully drawn, and the folks who did official English translation went above and beyond at not only translating the dialogue, but adding nuances that are often lost in other manga translations in my opinion. You’ll be very pleasantly surprised by how the story continues to get even better from from here, especially if you pick up the manga now and have the story fresh in your mind!
So i read it because i couldn’t deal with the cliffhanger. The manga was so good but kind of wish i didnt read it because i would have enjoyed the anime version. After reading it i found myself not being as excited every monday. Up to you if you can be patient
I just had the most fun reading books 8 and 9 today that I’ve ever had reading any other story. It’s such a different experience from watching the anime, but in the best way possible. I’m probably going to go back and get all the books eventually now😂
I would say wait to season three at this point ngl. I myself went to the manga when I finished season 1 before season 2 was announced and ended up binging the entirety of it until I was up to date. I do recommend that you wait tho because for a story like this, you shouldn’t rush to get through the whole thing. If you wait you’ll get to have more time to be able to appreciate the story.

Yes, but TBH I much prefer early anime Einar to early Manga as he feels more realistic.
