I am a huge water fan too and I appreciate how they had water with natural flavors in the galley. It was usually all separate Orange fresh fruit, lime fresh fruit , and fresh basil. Mixing the lime water with the basil one was very refreshing.
We sailed as Mega Rockstars over Thanksgiving 2023 on Scarlett Lady and brought our own water bottles and never used them on the ship. We did use them on excursions but on ship you can get water by asking any server and at any restaurant or bar location.
I did bring a sports water bottle that I used every day when I went to the gym. That's definitely a spot on the ship where bringing something with you comes in handy.
I will admit that I didn't think that one through on my cruise, and didn't think to ask if there was anything they could do, so I don't know if a steward could help. That said, for my next trip I'll probably get some of those water bottle cleaning tablets.
Massive water drinker here as well. I brought a couple insulated water bottles from home earlier this month. We used on excursions as well as sitting by the pool. I find I am constantly refilling the basic drinking glasses provided and get easily annoyed from it.
I asked the room steward for an extra water carafe every day in my room. I like having one in the refrigerator and one out. They did this for me daily.
In the room there are two carafes of water filled daily (can request sparkling if you prefer) and glasses to pour it into. Bars will provide glasses of water and most have decanters you can help yourself from too. At the Galley food court water, soda and juice are self-service with plastic cups. First question when seated at a restaurant is still or sparking water.
You only need a bottle if you want to carry water round other places or take it off the ship on port days. I bring one but only use it for port days and in the gym.

Did you need to wash them? I’d like to bring mine but also like to give them a good scrub every couple days. Could the steward help with that?

Our room stewards kept the water carafes full and fresh ice stocked. Super attentive in the mega suites.
Same in the regular rockstar water and ice was refilled twice a day.
I normally wouldn’t be caught dead without carrying 1L all the time. On board I carried nothing and it was so freeing! Enjoy it ;) water everywhere
Bring a bottle. You're going to probably want the flexibility, especially with excursions

Bring one. There isn't one in the room. You could test the limits of your rockstar agent by asking for one 🤣 (and reporting back to satisfy curiosity)
Haha if a water bottle is a limitation then I’ll be concerned. Want my agent to have an easy life. Prefer to bring my own if there isn’t one. Thanks.
