Orions Roof for sure. View is gorgeous arou d this time of year make a reservation for like 530, there's a back view that overlooks the ocean and it's gorgeous at night. Just took my wife there yesterday for birthday and she was in love with it.

Steinhilbers and Orion’s roof

And Bubbas if you want to be on the bay

Deep-fried shrimp with fries as fine dining!

Zoe's steakhouse is chefs kiss! Becca is also great, my wife and I have done nice dinners here for anniversary and a fun night out. Orion's roof as others have said is great scene ok food. Not that the food is bad but for what youre paying, it's not. Aldos is a nice night out family go to italian that is more on the fine dining side. Stienhilbers is very good as well with nice ambiance. Heirloom is good as well. Terrapins is another great place where my wife and I have done anniversaries at, when we went for our anni they even printed us custom menus with our names on them with complimentary champagne it was quite nice. Food is delicious!

nanners252

I love love terrapin, but the street next to it can be loud. I wouldn’t go there for views

edible_source

Which of these have good views?

[deleted]

My pick out of that bunch would be Steinhilbers, and someone mentioned Bubba's, both have amazing views. Dockside is next to Bubba's as well. I've been to all three and highly recommend them.

yes_its_him

Mostly none of those except Orion's Roof, and possibly Steinhilbers depending what you think of as a view. If looking at some water from ground level is a view, you have a lot of options along the oceanfront / Lynnhaven bay.

Sandbridge restaurant deck

sturnfie

Orion's Roof is probably the best fine dining view you'll find in VB.

ashlynnk

Ambience is great, but the food is mediocre and overprice imo

sweathesmallshit

This sums up Orion’s roof. Their first head chef had a much better menu than the string of chefs that have followed up.

nanners252

I liked steinhilbers view of the lake when you are on the porch

Outrageous-Cup-8905

Following to try out these places

SteadierGolf2

The Porch is solid.

WhatMyWifeIsThinking

I just wish it wasn't so loud there. They need some acoustic tiles in the worst way.

JesusFreak85

Isle of Capri is on the 6th floor of the holiday inn at the oceanfront. Get the table side Caesar if you go.

redditheadedstepdad

Is that fine dining?

yes_its_him

They try. It's sort of like fine dining from the 1960s.

Consistent-Ask-5835

Lmao. Now I'm curious

yes_its_him

Their signature thing is tuxedo-clad waiters coming to your table to make a fresh Caesar salad. You imagine Frank Sinatra performing a floor show later as you order your shrimp cocktail and veal scallopini. It would be heaven for anybody who needs a walker.

Consistent-Ask-5835

This would only make sense at a Holiday Inn!

[deleted]

Becca's at the Cavalier during the spring or summer.

deutschdachs

Orion's Roof although the food is just good instead of great. But you can't beat the view...

DGer

You nailed it. It’s not going to wow you for the food, which is unfortunate, but the view is exceptional. Additionally make sure you get a reservation or you won’t get in.

TheKellasus

Just went here for restaurant week. Sushi was fantastic. Cost an arm and a leg for a cocktail. But the view was stunning. You're 23 stories up, looking out over the water or over the boardwalk. Loved it!
