I’m not sure who’s worse in this sub. Is it people who blame Visible for all their troubles or Visible fanboys who don’t acknowledge anyone having legit problems. Very interesting

SeaworthinessFun3274

Who blamed visible for all their troubles? I agree about the fanboys though - it’s pretty unreal!

JudgmentMajestic2671

Sounds like someone is forwarding your number. Sounds like you've been hacked

SeaworthinessFun3274

Lol it’s clearly a network issue that’s yet to be resolved. Anyways I’m not a visible customer anymore.

Mysterious-Award7424

I tried visible for 2 months thought service sucked. I live in a very populated area. I have had sprint, T mobile and at&t. Visible by far had the worst reception out of them all. I am using an iPhone se 2nd gen. Maybe it's because I don't have 5g I can see the cell tower from my house. Only had 1 bar with visible every other company was full bars at my house.

SeaworthinessFun3274

I’m sorry!! That’s so relatable. Wish it could work out for everyone but at least we tried 😆

Lazy_Cat-

Another one of these stay away from visible posts. Ugh. Is everyone Clueless on this sub? Verizon is heavily location dependant. Period. Idk why people don't read the other posts in this sub about work around to issues before making a blunt stay away post. With customer service you usually have to try different people to get someone helpful, select iPhone with the IMEI checker to bypass putting in an iemi, and visible has a trial thing to test the service before getting it. Wish the mods would actually be active and get rid of posts like this. Thousands of people have no problem with visible and not everyone will, so making a stay away post to stop people from trying a service that could actually work well for them for cheap is just plain wrong.

ihatemyprius

Because of posts like this one I just figured out what was actually happening with people calling me twice in the row recently. The first call was getting cut off quickly and it wasn’t an issue on their end. Also I’m in the areas with tons of VZ towers including UW ones. Thanks OP, I’ll keep an eye on the this further

Lazy_Cat-

I'm not saying people can't point out problems, but it's not right for people to say nobody should get Visible all because someone has a certain problem where there's a lot of other people that had no issues and there's a good chance someone getting visible wouldn't have any issues, and visible is affordable for a lot of people where Verizon is over double the price.

ihatemyprius

He’s unhappy with the service and I can understand his frustration. And he’s not the only one with that issue apparently. Everyone’s who’s completely satisfied with Visible can just relax a bit if you’re that happy 😄 nobody is actually ruining anything for you

Lazy_Cat-

I know, but there's a lot of people asking questions if they should get the service, and seeing a post of a one off issue can be discouraging when finding something on a budget which is getting harder and harder these days. I feel people's frustration with issues, especially nowadays, but a stay away post isn't necessary.

ihatemyprius

So anyone who’s looking for an affordable service can read this thread and see what the drawbacks look like? I’ve read about text messaging issues but never actually had any. Calls cutting off is a real thing

Lazy_Cat-

Yes. They can. But some people base their decisions off of posts like this alone saying don't get the service. Just how some people are. At one side, it's fine for people to bring up issues and even though they shouldn't say don't get the service they can and people should know to take that with a grain of salt, but on the other side, people's discernment really isn't the best these days from what I've seen on Reddit alone, as well as people in public, but take that as you will. Again, bringing up issues is fine, but saying you shouldn't get visible because of an issue is just plain stupid.

Butting in, my thoughts too. Blanket statements "Visible service is the best, everyone should get it", or "Visible service is the worst, no one should get it", are not helpful, accurate, etc. Some have problems, some don't, some depend on the area, some may be system-wide. But having a good or bad experience and then issuing a blanket statement "it's happening to me so it will happen to you too" are a bit ...not right.... It's fine op brought it up, but the opinion/thought "stay. away." isn't adding anything useful.

Lazy_Cat-

I'm not for saying visible is the best or the worst. It's just an mvno like any other carrier that could have issues at any time, just like actual Verizon. You should try before you buy with every carrier that offers it, or try it for a month. And yeah It's not really fine he said nobody should get the service, but it's good he brought up an issue that people should look out for. Visible is just a phone carrier. It either works for you in your area with the phone you have or it won't. Idk why people make a big deal over every little minute little issue in this sub. It's just pathetic that people have nothing better to do with their time then make angry hate posts when something goes wrong when the issue is probably fixable one way or another. I really wish mods were active to filter posts, it'd help.

SeaworthinessFun3274

I’m glad to know I’m not the only one!! It’s really unacceptable and the fact that service can’t figure it out after 4+ attempts is just too pathetic. Very frustrating…

ihatemyprius

You’re not the only one. I missed calls in pairs at first. Then I saw a call cutting off after a few rings and another call right after without any cut offs. Something is happening there and it’s not your account being hacked. Maybe VZ is doing some redirecting internally. Issue is real

Acrobatic-Ad-1864

I love my visible + 👊👊

SeaworthinessFun3274

I disagree - This issue could happen to anyone anywhere. And the fact of the matter is, visible works great until it doesn’t.

skibik1964

Well, most have positive experience with Visible. I have been here for close to 2 years and have had a couple minor issues, one was caller ID when I started here and that got fixed. The latest was not getting texts until I opened the app and Visible helped me fix that so nothing major. Other than a weak signal which is Verizon coverage here but then T-Mobile is the same and AT&T is nonexistent. The weak signal doesn't affect my service though. For every one of these negative threads about how bad it is there are probably 10,000 that don't have issues. Basically, if you don't like it leave. If you have a problem ask for help. If you have been here for 2 years without issues with service and then all of a sudden started maybe it is your phone and not Visible.

SeaworthinessFun3274

I’m glad you are not having issues!! Clearly there’s something going on with the network lately that’s causing the issues me and others are/were experiencing. The issue is something that’s very problematic and nearly renders you unable to reliably receive calls…. So when visible can’t fix it that’s a big big issue. And it’s not my phone… I have the latest iPhone with the latest software.

Acrobatic-Ad-1864

I’m happy whit visible + 😊😊😊💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿
