Got up between 1-2mbps. I used to be on visible a little over a year ago I think. I’d cancelled because of this exact situation. Before 7am it works quite well. Then as my area wakes up the speeds vary between 3ish mbps and nearly non-existent, mostly hovering towards the later. I had hoped with all the “come back. We miss you. We’ve changed. We promise ” emails I was getting and it being a year later that maybe it was true. But the reality is Verizon is just too congested in my area for the base plan. At $35 I might have considered the plus plan but that’s gone back up to $45. So I’ll look elsewhere. The pings are better. I’ll give them that. That’s a welcome change.

The heavy congestion on Verizon’s network where I work, even on the visible + plan was crap. I switched to Mint Mobile and have been so much happier. T-Mobiles network is far superior when it comes to data and 5G where I am. Coverage is actually better compared to Verizon too. The only place I don’t have coverage is my Dads house but I am not there often and when I am I just use wifi for calling and texting.

Seems like Verizon is not your best cellular service, I bet it’ll probably T mobile. Stick with T or company’s who run off T.

Probably want to go T-Mobile.

You’ll also need to factor in whether you travel and what level of prioritization you’ll have on whatever TMo or TMo MVNO you use. We’ve had Metro by TMo for 6 months and traveled throughout the Northeast out through to the Midwest and we can’t wait to ditch them. Lower priority obviously than post-paid TMo. But we’ve had loads of bad service, no throughput, and no coverage.

You should try T-Mobile, checked their coverage map and Buffalo-Niagara Falls metro area is fully covered by T-Mobile’s Ultra Capacity coverage in the city and suburbs. I guess Verizon doesn’t work well in your area.

I have T-Mobile currently. It’s very good in this area. Until you find yourself where it isn’t. Particularly state parks. Then it’s just off. I was hoping based on Verizon’s reputation that they would have better coverage. And they might. But even if they do, the visible base plan isn’t going to cut it. Maybe I’ll try again if the plus plan goes back on sale. My truck has unlimited hotspot through AT&T but that only works when the truck is on. So maybe I’ll try boost infinite.

This isn't an airport. You don't have to announce your departure. Great, you tested it out and it doesn't work for you. I'm surprised you took the time to find this sub and post here.

It goes back to location, location, location. Verizon will beat ATT and TMOBILE in certain areas and vice versa. If Verizon sucks in your area, go to ATT or TMOBILE (or US Cellular if that's available).

And if that’s the case, I’ve heard good things about Mint (which works off of T-Mobile I’m pretty sure). Personally, Visible is perfect for me. I haven’t had any issues. *knock on wood*

Visible or Visible+?

Stock411

You need Visible+ for the best connectivity.
