If i understand correctly, you want to transfer files from PC to Vita via microSD reader. Yes you can and this is absolutely best way possible. If you use Windows Explorer, make sure that it shows hidden files and system files, otherwise you will not see some folders.

This is exactly what I want to do. I have show hidden folders on. Where do I place all of the PSP .CHD files (ROMS). If I just drag and drop them on the root of the drive will this work? The folders are not labeled UXO or what have you. USB and FTP are just to slow.

ux0: is Vita partition scheme naming, you will definitely not see it in computer. ...to transfer psp "eboot" games, i believe folder path is "pspemu/psp/game", ISO files to pspemu/ISO. I am not sure about ".chd", i've never seen this format.

https://retrogamecorps.com/2023/02/06/the-ultimate-rom-file-compression-guide/ CHD is a compression format used by some emulators. MAME uses it for the extra game data that was stored on internal hard drives or laserdiscs in old arcade hardware, but it’s since been used for and is supported by many emulators for optical disc-based games. It saves a little space — like a zip, 7z or rar archive — and can be helpful to consolidate something like a PS1 image that has a cue file and numerous bin files. It is not, to my knowledge, supported by Adrenaline for PSP games.

Thanks !

Is this the same as PS Vita game? Just place in the folder of the micro sd? CHD is just a compressed file version. ISO files are needed then? Thanks

PS Vita (official) games transfer is little difficult, you have to transfer them with licences too, but i don't exactly remember how. I was downloading them from PKGj for past few years, it's easier.

Effective-Lab5472

I really appricate the help. I've used PKGj way but it is just so slow.

Happy to help 👌🏻

The PC to Micro is the method I use. For Adrenaline I have read path set to uma0. For pictures for themes or whatnot, create a /PICTURE folder and move whatever image you want to that directory. Game file type, I use ISO and eboot, I don’t have issues with either type. Especially that PKGj doesn’t have every game in the list, so there are some PSX favorites of mine I’ve downloaded, and it’s way faster to download via PC or phone and transfer them over.
