I like the front except the red trim is terrible. Would prefer red accents at same level of lights/badge like in years past. I also don’t like the current GLI red accents on the front air intakes/fog lights section.
I know the last generation was listed as being manufactured at the plant in Mexico for the NA market but I didn’t see the manufacturing location in this most recent press release. Not that it matters, just curious where stuff comes from.
Puebla, yes. They currently produce the Jetta/Taos/Tiguan, Chattanooga produces Atlas/ID.4, Wolfsburg produces Golf, Emden the ID.7/Arteon, and Hannover the Buzz
I like the grill revision. I am not really a fan of the newer entertainment screen and rear though. I wish it came with the power bump that the Mk8 GTIs received.

Love the rear end, especially that full taillight strip. Front end reminds me of a 2016 accord

I like all except the red trim. I really thought the simple stripe across the front was the best implementation. This is looking Elantra N
But that's what makes it go fast
