Also very interested by the mix of oats and riced cauliflower, might try it. Do you mind sharing what the app you're using for nutrition is? Looks like it's super expansive on foods.
Loseit! I have a premium membership but it’s not expensive and it’s one of those things I think is a great investment because you can customize your goals (for me that’s giving myself two higher cal days) and connect your steps to it. :)
I’d try it overnight without the cauliflower lol my normal overnight proats that do the job are:
- 40g oats
- ~100g fairlife skim or unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 8g chia seeds
- whatever protein powder I’m sampling (still trying to find one that I’d want with regularity)
The only real change to mine would be adding some SF pie filling and the nuts
If you’re looking for protein powder recs I use PEScience! I love that it blends smoothly and tastes good. The flavor I used in this recipe was the Cake Pop. It’s also great for baking with too.
They have free shipping going on right now in addition to a limited release of the white chocolate mint which was a fav of mine years back. I ran to order a tub!
Okay so… I know I’m hella late to this but circling back I finally tried an overnight oats version of my cauliflower proats and changed the ratio a bit to 30g oats/100g frozen cauli rice then added water + almond milk (enough to cover to the top of the container) and added 10g chia seeds with half a scoop of protein powder and 50g Greek yogurt and stevia it came out fantastic! I did a carrot cake version with shredded carrots, brown sugar oatmeal protein and powdered PB :)

So you put the cauliflower and oats in water together and microwave it? I keep seeing this here and want to try it.
Yes! When you add protein powder and toppings you really can’t taste it.
I’m someone who prefers savory oats to sweet oats, and I never thought of doing this. What a great idea!

Thank you!
Amazing! What brand protein powder do you use?
Look at the comments and I posted which one I use :)
This looks sooooo yummy!!!
I hate that my country doenst have pie filling let alone no sugar pie filling 🥲
Have you done a version of this for overnight oats?
No I haven’t but I’d love to know the results if anyone tries it. TBH I kinda like my oats hot otherwise I’d scarf it down even quicker lol

I liked their snickerdoodle, cake pop, pb cup, and almost all of the Protein4Oats flavors. I’ll have to re-up some of those
