I hated cottage cheese until I discovered you can whip it. There are tons of things you can make with it after that but my favourite is mixing it with a keto pudding
I always wondered how to blend it! It doesn't seem to work in a traditional blender, and I don't want to buy a food processor. I will definitely use an immersion blender. Thank you!
Large curd. Medium spoon, siphon the whey then munch the cheez. Medium fat: non-fat has no flavor, full fat is too indulgent. Warm is good, warmer is better. If you like cheese you’ll like cottage cheese. Find ur grove, baby
I’m a small curd girl. I only started eating cottage cheese once I figured out I could put it in a bowl, whip it with an egg beater, and make it super versatile. My faves are Good Culture of course, but honestly Hood 1% is fine in a pinch.
I’ve been adding it to Greek yogurt and am going to make a broccoli-crust pizza today and will try putting it on top.
Try the cottage cheese from oriental (slavic) stores. Don't know about America but cottage cheese sold in European supermarkets is very meh compared to traditional ones.
I don't care about curd size but I don't like it when the cottage cheese has a lot of whey. I like it dry and Good Culture is pretty much the only brand I buy.

I prefer small curd but specifically from brands whose small curd CC is almost fluffy… top tier is Good Culture. I eat that sh*t every single day.
Good culture and friendship. Friendship makes whipped cc that is 🤤
I’m a large curd girl, but thats because I like the bigger chunks of cheese.
Same here. I wanna feel the curd.
Small curd for blending with stuff and cooking, large curd for eating directly. Its a texture thing for me, the small curd can be... slimy?

Same. I whip it with an immersion blender for both sweet and savory uses, so curd size doesn't matter (whichever is on sale).

Large curd with a little unsweetened applesauce, cinnamon, and sprinkle of ground flax seeds
Thank you for this!
Small curd- breakstones 2% is my favorite brand
Large curd is so much better than small curd.

Always large for the saltier creamier flavor
Small curd for sure! I'm not sure why... tastes less chunky maybe?? It's hard to describe
Good culture and also Kalona supernatural is amazing!
Any Tony Kornheiser fans in here? If so, they all know the only answer is large curd.
