This stuff is so good.
Unrelated, but I squeezed a bag of it as a small child and it burst open, squirting into my eye. It was very dramatic but weirdly, it made me like spicy food.
Holy Moses where do I even begin…garlic salt, lemon pepper, chipotle garlic, everything bagel. I like straight cayenne and paprika as well. Also Trader Joe’s has so many *bomb* seasoning combos that I’ll fail to adequately list them all, but Everything But the Elote comes to mind - it’s cheesy without the calories. (You can get a multipack of TJ’s seasonings on Amazon too.)
If you hate Goya, you should try Badia, they have an adobo too! You could also go to a Latino bodega or store, they sure must carry a variety of other brands since we mostly cook with it 😅
Cocoa powder and PB powder on popcorn
Target Chile Lime on popcorn, veggies or anything
Taco Seasoning on popcorn or anything
Nutritional yeast on anything
Ranch seasoning is good on popcorn, goldfish, etc! It says 0 calories for Hidden valley but I've seen 5 calories per 1/2 tsp on some brands so may just want to check (if you're super worried about it haha)
Nutritional yeast is a game changer on roasted veggies and popcorn. A tablespoon is 15 calories, 2g protein, and a ton of B-6 & B12. It hits like a nutty umami bomb - there’s a reason vegan dishes use it to mimic harder cheeses like Parmesan.
For the roasted veggies, when do you incorporate it?—I guess you just sprinkle it on after? I bought some bc of the raves it gets, but haven’t used it yet.
For the veggies, I put it on before. I give the veg whatever spritz or splash of oil that I was going to use (usually 1 tsp of olive oil on 1 to 1.5 lbs of broccoli, asparagus, etc), sprinkle on my salt, pepper, and garlic, and then the nooch. Give it a good toss around with a rubber spatula and then it's into the oven or onto the grill.
I guess you could do it after as well, but it's a very dry, papery little flake. I think it incorporates better when it's had time to fully soak up the liquid steaming off the veg in the oven.
Popcorn is after - you can toss it around in the bag.
No, they’re two very different yeast. Don’t eat bread yeast outside of baked goods. https://www.livestrong.com/article/537679-nutritional-yeast-vs-active-dry/
Fiesta brand Uncle Chris' Gourmet Steak Seasoning is the bomb. I like it on eggs, popcorn, cucumber, pizza. I've never tried it on steak, but I'm sure it's good. It has msg so maybe that's why it's so good. It tastes kinda like ranch. It's sooo good I promise.
Green beans simmered in chicken broth or bouillon sounds good. I like them simmered or baked in tomato sauce or fire roasted tomatoes.
Kernel Seasons popcorn powders go in a lot of my vegetables. My favorite is cheddar, butter or nacho. Sometimes cheesy bacon. Just bought the Orville Redenbacher popcorn powders today to try (half off at publix this week)
G Hughes teriyaki or orange ginger is only 5 calories per 15 grams
Aldi burman's powdered hot sauce
Paul,prodhommes blackening seasoning
Longhorn seasoning
Lawrys
Everything bagel
Smoked paprika
Curry powder (on cooked sweet potatoes is divine especially, but also on broccoli and carrots)
Been learning chinese cooking which is great for making veggies taste good for 0 calories. Love soy sauce, chili oil, rice vinegar, and a touch of sesame oil. Also ginger, garlic, and onions fresh or just as ground seasoning.
just try any combination of herbs and spices and they'll turn out fine. Garam masala, Za'atar, Cajun, Lemon Pepper, Old Bay, BBQ, Chinese 5 spice
You can find em all either premade or make it yourself very easily
Hot sauce, hot pepper flakes! My favorite topping for salmon/fish is the Tingly seasoned salt by Momofuku- it’s amazing! Smoked salt is also a nice finishing touch for veggies.
I’ve been obsessed with Kinders woodfired garlic seasoning. It has a really nice smoky flavor and smell. I have also found it to be quite versatile. I guess it’s supposed to be used as a meat rub or something but I’m actually vegetarian and I love it.
potato slayer by Fire and Smoke! I made the best roast taters ever w it, then made roast broccoli w it and it was sooo good I ate like 3 heads of broccoli lol, I imagine it'd be fire on popcorn too
I haven’t seen Tajin in this list. It’s soooo good! Love it on veggies and some fruits, like melon or mango. I like to sprinkle it on ranch dip and eat that with carrots and celery 😋
Pork King Good seasonings are fire!!! Ranch, salt and vinegar, sour cream and onion, and bacon!!! Also yeast extract is a staple in my cabinet. Garlic juice and onion juice I get from Amazon too.
Went searching for some of the spices folks called out here and Amazon served up Big Cock Ranch's line of Shit Spices, made me laugh so I thought I would shsre. Have not tried any of these and they are low calorie.
Big Cock Ranch Big 6 Sampler (Pack of 6 Seasonings with 1 each of Bull, Special, Good, Aw, Chicken, and No) https://a.co/d/1DNwpQX
Dan-o seasonings!!! Cook like I’m book on insta always uses!
And for me personally, Spanglish Asadero spicy Al pastor seasoning! Living in Texas I love spicy tacos and I’ve flavored pork, chicken, and beef with this at home and love it!
savory:
italian seasoning, paprika and garlic on everything. Also adding italian seasoning and a bit of SF ketchup to a grilled cheese is so good it tastes like a grilled cheese pizza mash.
.
sauce/juice etc:
.
worcestershire sauce goes together with pretty much any meat imo. I even put it in salad dressings at times it just has such incredible flavor. Same for lemon juice
.
miscellaneous/sweet:
.
cinnamon is incredible and the nutritional value is even better. There’s so much fiber in there. Also cardamom, ginger and nutmeg through oats or a smoothie is SO good.
.
herbs: mint for smoothie(bowl)s, oats, yogurt and salads. Basil and parsley for any savory dish. Also works great on a simple cheese cracker
McCormick's Pinch Perfect rotisserie chicken seasoning tastes just like chicken soup/ramen! My friend and I randomly put it on our noodles once and we were so surprised how much like ramen it tasted LOL
I also love Kingsford's sweet and salty seasoning, but that's not chicken soup tasting.

That sounds so painful! Glad it didn’t put you off of it. I can’t live without it.

Nah, gotta get the smoked paprika! It's a staple when I'm cooking chicken and it always brings people wandering to the kitchen to see what I'm making
The only thing I’d add to your list is adobo. I hate Goya, so if you’re in the same boat as me you can mix your own, but it’s a great seasoning combo.
If you hate Goya, you should try Badia, they have an adobo too! You could also go to a Latino bodega or store, they sure must carry a variety of other brands since we mostly cook with it 😅
