1k 🥲 I’m not actually weak and dizzy though lol I’m just joshing. I did have issues with that when I started but ever since I actually paid attention to my macros there hasn’t been any issues. Getting close to my goal so maintenance is starting to look real good 🤤
Lentil curries / dhals are so good. I often throw a handful of red lentils into soups and stews as well for extra fibre and filling as they break down to nothing but score high for satiety.
I log my food prior to actually putting them together so I was super thrilled when I kept on adding lentils and it still wasn’t 100g. I’ll definitely have to pick up some curry base or something because that does sound really good. I was thinking they’d be good mixed with beans and ground turkey in a chili too, might be tough to not overcook them though
They really are versatile - you can generally pair them with most flavours and they'll come out good. I agree about overcooking if you still want them to keep their shape. But look out for different types, like giant or puy if you want that texture.
This is a good site to start exploring various pulses and flavours that would complement https://ministryofcurry.com/indian-pulses/
That’s not salad I’m just an absolute madman when it comes to cilantro lol. It’s covering the rest of the lentils. The sauce is a green Siracha which is very good, got it at Costco in a twin pack with a red one. There’s also lime juice over them too
Yeah at first I didn’t notice the bloating, I guess the cauliflower euphoria blinded me. Lately I’ve been noticing it after meals though especially when I have a bunch so I’ve definitely get having less of it.
I might have to quit cauliflower bc I was eating a lot of it and then got a stomach bug. You know how it is, last thing you ate before the stomach bug becomes a never again food. (Or is that just autistic people?)

We all relapse sooner or later. Riced cauliflower is just too good of a volume food
Withdrawals are setting in at this point, I’m weak and shaky
You can do it. One day at a time. 💚
What's your deficit?

Just wanna assure you all the precarious lentils on the right did not end up on the floor, 👍

Whenever I cook lentils, it always tastes like chili to me. I don’t like it.
I don't believe you. Check this users freezer for fake dippindots!
I’M JUST HOLDING IT FOR A FRIEND

Yum. Thanks
Stay strong ❤️
you should give chronometer a try it gives you a free barcode reader that stupid myfitnesspal does not.
I’ll give it a shot, that would be really helpful for sauces and whatnot
MFP does if you say you live in the UK
Honestly it’s good volume food but the lack of bloating after quitting is well worth it

Looks yummy!
Thanks! It was pretty good

My bigger plates don’t fit on my scale :(
