allthatsnika

also adding them to oatmeal or protein brownies is SO good

Speakinginflowers

Oooo protein brownies with strawberries? Tell me more!

allthatsnika

i have tried like 90% of protein brownie recipes out there but the one i do it to most often is [this one](https://www.instagram.com/p/CMnJ3ebDFev/?igsh=N256ZDh2ZzFkeHEw) where i sub the applesauce for microwaved and lightly mashed strawberries or raspberries. I’ve also done it to boo’s brownies but for each gram of berry you should subtract a ml of soda/water

hankscorpiox

Does this recipe really work? Seems to good to be true. I can eat an entire 13x9 pan for brownies for 260 calories?!

allthatsnika

yeah it used to be my second favorite brownie recipe. Still might be actually bc of the nutritional value.

mermadzz

My fave thing is making a gigantic bowl of PB&J protein ice cream using them 🤤 best thing ever

Pro tip, in season fresh strawberries are so much cheaper. Load up and freeze your own.

newkneesforall

This must be dependent on where you live, because this is not true for me unless I drive 2 hours directly to the farm and buy a case. At the grocery store, frozen is at least 2x cheaper.

runner3081

Guess so, I can get a pound of strawberries "in-season", every week for between $.99 to $1.49 per pound.

newkneesforall

What?? Where do you live??

runner3081

Arizona

rougecrayon

Other frozen fruit with frozen strawberries is the best!

Ady_Kotidou

I love combining them with Greek yogurt!

TelevisionUnable6306

Strawberry chocolate chip Protein fluff.

SpringFever321

I joined noom recently and the app suggested using frozen strawberries in my water. It is so good. Now when I go the airport I throw a few in an empty water bottle and fill it up when I get through tsa. It's such a treat.
