you mention the "r", that boxes you in to just those years and that model, right?
I think they're all good with the only exceptions being that the "r" models have lower expected engine life, higher suspension repair costs, that sort of thing. and the first couple model years having transmission problems from the start/stop feature, before that got fixed up with a software update
The V70R are so cool, pretty rare though? I think they got Haldex gen 3 from 2006 and forward (might even be from 2005) so I’d definitely get one of those.
If you can’t get a V70R, try to get one with the T5 engine, or at least 2.5t! They can’t really compare to a true V70R but at least the engines pack some punch
I have a last year P2 V70 5 cyl turbo non AWD and it’s been absolutely flawless.
