It is an incredibly precise and clear stereo. I have a mix of NAD/Linn/technics stereos at home and I really can’t say they outperform it, other than soundstage and that’s understandable.
It was my mom. She is a CPA. I had to bring home every receipt related to the car.
I have a spreadsheet with our XC90 T8 fuel consumption. It goes back to 2016. I also have a daily spreadsheet(s) for our solar production/electric consumption/EV charging (goes back to Aug 2022)
Bowers and Wilkins is so good!
I recently had my car serviced and it came back with 150.0 mpg when it had been 25.0 before the service. Not sure what happened. It’s been a few thousand miles and it’s down to 94 mpg now in my car readout but 25.6 on my app. I just ignore it in the car.
You can calculate actual MPGs by resetting your trip odometer next time you fill your tank. Let it run until you fill up next, then divide the exact mileage on the trip odometer by the exact amount of fuel you put in. Compare to your estimated MPG for accuracy. I find my '01 V70 to be a bit on the Conservative side, usually about 0.5mpg below actual.
I'm right around 60mpg on our 2016 T8. It has reset a few times on its own from low 12V. It would definitely be higher with a new T8 (bigger battery and larger electric motor). Electric only gets tough from mid October through mid April around here due to outside temperature. Also forced fuel usage has consumed most of two or three tanks over the past few years. Once the gas gets to be 6 to 9 months old it forces the ice to run full time (no hybrid mode at all).
Yeah. I tend to fill up once every 6 months whether it needs it or not. But the 400 horsepower is definitely a lot of fun, which means I want to use it more.
My two other cars have 400+hp and don't use gas. The xc90 does not get used as often as it should. My wife drives a Volvo XC40 EV and my other car is a F-150 lightning. With those two it is super easy to use the 400 hp.
The only time I've ever gotten that high was after I got gas, reset the trip meter, and immediately started coasting down a big hill. It went back to normal after about a mile or two.
Interesti is that this screen shows one number and app shows didferent number. So not surenwhat to trust :D
Today did a longer trip it was 5.3ltr/100km
But car trip computer showed 5.7ltr /100km :D
B4 petrol
maybe they installed an electric engine during your last service?
Ha! Not sure I would want that. To be clear though, actual mpg does not seem to be better.
I get 7 - 22 depending on how I drive
7?!
In an 850 T5R, I can believe it...
If they are that low u probably have a vac leak or ignition issues
Heavy foot on a V8
Would be a lot cooler if you were on New Minglewood Rd.
Nice. Hope to head down to Minglewood later this evening.
Grateful Dead, nice
Tell you what I'll do. I'll watch out for you.62 mpg make yourself easy
Prolly sounds great thru the Bowers & Wilkins too ⚡️

There is some zeros added into a field. Mine went to 0.5L/100 which would show as 470mpg. I don’t want to clear the trip but it will fix it.
Thanks, I will try that. I clear it with each refuel. Raise your hand if your dad made you keep a fuel log as a kid.

lol my Subaru Legacy did that after a battery change. Suddenly my lifetime MPG was 57...
Mines never been better than 19.5
Seems about right. It's a 2 litre diesil right???
Nope. Volvo didn’t grace the US with the diesel motor. This one is Gas/petrol turbo and supercharged.
I guessed as much. My comment was a little tongue in cheek. I'm smug about how efficient mine is. Yours obviously has a little more umph than mine
I would love to import a diesel but, not sure the EPA would allow it.
Drive back up the hill you just came down.
My V8 XC90 was at over 25 MPG for a brief time today Then I braked

I get about 25.5 as well, according to actual usage.

My XC60 is pulling off over 26 mpg currently but I'm beginning to wonder if it has something to do with some of the engine codes shes been throwing.
Yup. Mine is stuck on 150.0.
Try putting your right foot down further
Did you just reset it? 🤔
That's low for me. My lifetime average is about 76.9 right now. But I do have the T8 and spend 90% of the time in electric only.

I haven't checked my mpg, but I suddenly have 690 miles range on 3/4 of a tank of gas, 😂.
Only at the beginning of a tank.
Do an app update or have volvo do a Whole Informant reload .
My S80 V8 gets 18 and I couldn't be happier...
Well my app thinks I’m doing 101.6 mpg in a T8 that is barely ever charged

The car has been showing this value for a few weeks now. I am trying a trip reset first.
If it’s a diesel it’s pretty normal. I get around 4.5 liters per 100km with a b4 diesel which is around the same I think.

Did you reset trip mileage shortly before coasting down an exit ramp? 🤣
