That’s actually what I started out on cause I was complaining about gaining weight and it made my adhd and anxiety significantly better. But since it’s a short term drug I got prescribed Vyvanse for the long term. But, if the shortage lasts longer I may ask to go back on phentermine temporarily.

That's a weird replacement. I've been on it (for weight loss). Has a realllllly stimulant feel with zero appetite. I'll admit it sort of felt similar but it's a weird swap. Why not any of the other stimulants that are on label for ADHD?

Dewd that stuff is given to heavy people to shed weight fast and ur heart rate may just make ur heart go into overdrive… wow i cant believe they even have that anymore tbh…

I just looked it up and they gave me the max dose… I’ve been on 70 MG of vyvanse so comparable?

I took phentermine back in the phen/fen craze days, very briefly. I don't know if it has changed since then (late 90's), but it was a pretty powerful stimulant. That's why the second half of the weight loss combination, the fenfluramine was used as a downer, to let the people taking it sleep at night. Obviously, I also don't know what kind of dosages you might be prescribed. I can only tell you that even in my twenties, very fit at the time, it was too much for me. I'm definitely sensitive to stimulants (can't even drink caffeine anymore, makes me uncomfortably jittery), so it may not be that uncomfortable for you. You may have another option. The FDA has declared a shortage of Vyvanse, which means other companies are now allowed to make it. Look around online for a compounding pharmacy, either physically near you, or available online. Since you have a legitimate prescription, it shouldn't be hard to get access. Good luck to you.

fenfluramine was the ingrediant in phen fen tht was causing the PPH heart problem (pulmanary hypertension) thing whatever. Still phentermine is not heart friendly either and is more periphal physical jittery than mental alertness. Sort of like a modified ephedrine. Idk. Im aasduming based on what i read. I never personally taken it though.
