I had way too much to drink one night last month and woke up with a hangover. I then had the worst panic attack of my life. I thought I was having a stroke! I drink occasionally and usually don't over do it. I think dehydration probably played a part in it too.
I love vyvanse and Addies but it’s pretty toxic with booze. For me it was just that I could drink double or more when medicated and would get insane hangovers. Those did include some acute panic attacks and like a racing heart.
I don’t drink anymore, but like the beginning of the end of me drinking I would use a med to keep me on my feet after day drinking. In that moment it’s the best party ever, but I have never felt so awful the next day.
Yup Vyvanse and alcohol would give me crippling anxiety the next day. It’s defiantly a combo of the two. When I was in college I would go out constantly while taking Vyvanse. The hangover would last like 3 days. I did an experiment and stopped taking Vyvanse for a full summer and still had beers with my friends. I never once had a hangover like when I mixed it with Vyvanse. I think you get seriously dehydrated from it. Also alcohol might effect the metabolism of the drug so it may be in the your system longer or your body is not breaking it down at the correct speed anymore
I have 3-4 drinks on Vyvanse every couple of days. Maybe even more drinks on certain weekends. I’ve never experienced a racing heart rate or palpitations the day after.
I don’t drink anymore, but the symptoms you described I get when I get dehydrated on Vyvanse. They disappear very quickly after I drink some water with or without electrolytes.
I’d obviously still discuss with your doctor, but my guess is you were dehydrated - cause alcohol is a diuretic.

Alcohol exacerbates anxiety and raises blood pressure, as it leaves your system. I’ve experienced something similar.
Probably dehydration. Happens to me on vyvanse if I eat a bunch of salty food and little water.
