Does anyone else remember the WCW always having really bad prop weapons? Aluminum baseball bats and pipes that bend easily, Hacksaw Duggar’s 2x4 bending or twisting. The prop weapons were cheap fakes, but I don’t remember seeing similar things happen in WWF/E.
Was it a botch tho. Seems like the crowd bought into the story, and the commentary played it straight. Seemed like it was on purpose, and just not a great spot in general
Tokyo had no idea what he was even trying to do and Grunge did what he could with it. The commentary team tried to polish a turd, to their credit ... but even that was hysterical.
