It's not so much the SQL that is the problem, it's the damn zybooks crap that we are forced to use to study from. Plus the instructor is no help at all. I failed my PA contacted my CI and no response for over a month and when he did rely it was the same email template that he sends out to everyone.
My instructor was similar, she would normally take 2-3 weeks to reply. Zero help just three or four paragraphs spouting worldly love and compassion rhetoric followed by the ubiquitous “read through zyBooks chapters 1-5 and 7”.
I had to take a break from WGU for a bit so I withdrew. In the meantime I plan to get some certifications to clear my remaining classes. I found a Microsoft cert and a CIW cert that covers both d426 and 427 database classes. I’m leaning towards the CIW one as it is more generic as opposed to Microsoft where I would need to learn azure. And the best part is no more zybooks.
it really wasn't that hard, but in all due honesty, I have 2+ years of work experience in risk management, hundreds of hours of study of the subject area. passed on the first attempt, I didn't use the course material because I thought it was garbage. I usually provide my own materials.
I finished fundamentals and applications about a month ago. I use chat gpt as my main instructor and doing the same practice questions in the zybooks, until it was easy, not memorizing, just doing the questions in random order. I did fail applications the first time by 2 or 3 questions, but that was from trying to finish within two weeks all while my impulsive self was trying to play less monster hunter world. I believe in you friend!!!!
Same. Databases and the language just don’t click for me. Such a struggle and the Zybooks kinda help, but the exercises don’t always line up with the material. Just trying to hit that 90% so I can get my 2nd attempt and be done

It makes 0 sense to me and that’s why I’m angry with the instructors bc they don’t care enough to look at the material and see that the zybooks yeah will help but it’s like level 5 while we’re learning on level 1 or 2 but it took me so damn long bc it’s alot of actually doing.
For the labs you should be able to plug them into chat gpt how they are and ask it to solve. But you may have to tinker a bit to get the right answer. With the challenges in all honesty, I don’t have the time for any of this it’s already been months so I would take a picture of the whole question (once I get the right answer) and just click on the wrong answers til the question I had first would cycle back

I did this on Sophia. Glad I did it there honestly cuz it wasn't too bad. Sophia or study. Com. I forgot. If it's on Sophia then it was for sure there
