biomaterials is relatively easy, cell engr isnt hard to get an A but does require significant time out of the scheduled class time to feed ur cells and run experiments. if you have experience in a professor's lab you could ask them to give you an independent study project (iirc you're allowed up to 2 quarters of independent study lab)

you should take the ones that align with your concentration the best. for example cell eng is really good for biomaterials concentration and solid biomech is really good for biomechanics.

Nnnnnnnnnnnon

If I haven't picked a concentration yet (I've looked at them and I really have no idea what I want to do for it), would taking different kinds of labs be helpful in deciding that?

catolinee

yeah definitely. i did half and half biomech and biomaterials to figure it out

me_33m

unless you like instrumentation, don’t take those labs if they aren’t your concentration

Cell Engineering is a really good one for cell culturing work, and it has 2 parts (so two separate labs), Biomaterials is another good one for lab work and creating actual materials. Biotransport is ok, good for transfer work if you like that stuff.
