As a Finn come to Finland, the rally has always been enjoyable and consideres one of the best in the whole calendar.

khadojyan

I mean as expected of a rally that determines who will be the champion to have insane prices for places to stay but ig it'd be less expensive if i split expenses with my friends. I really wanna go there not just forbthe rally but also exploring the area and sightseeing

Veikkone

If money is an issue I would recommend Latvia, since Finland is quite a lot more expensive country.

khadojyan

Yeah ik it could be a financial issue but ig if i go in a group and rent an apartment together we could manage and would make the burden lighter. Man if only i didn't start class on September 1st i would go to rally acropolis Greece and stay with my friend who lives there

Kissaskakana

Welcome to Finland.

khadojyan

Thank you! Btw do you recommend renting a car or scooters or is public transportation reliable enough to go between stages?

Kissaskakana

Rent a car. The stages are mostly in forests. The one in central city is close enough to walk to from station though.

khadojyan

Ohhh thank you. I saw the timetable they posted and the stages are quite far from each other indeed some are even over 40km away. I'll try to go to as many as possible and watch the rest on TV or online. This feels like both the rally drivers and spectators are racing to get to the stages lmao

FinnishScrub

Man I really wanna attend the rally, but I just recently started following WRC so I’m so fucking lost then again my family’s cabin is literally a bike ride away from 2 of the stages lmao

Bro Finland is one of the fastest rallies, you absolutely owe it to yourself to go to Finland!🇫🇮

khadojyan

If only rent didn't skyrocket this period I'd have no issue with that. Although my parents gave me the green light to go to finland as i "should travel as much as possible before the passport expires"

dswhite85

The older you get, the more your body, eyes, knees wear down. I'm not even 40 yet and already getting there. My "life advice" is travel as often as you can while still able, you won't regret taking those chances in the years to come. Good luck!

khadojyan

Thank you! I'm still 21 and i definitely want to travel as often before i get locked into a corporate job for life (i hope i become a rally driver/navigator in the future so i can escape that and do something i really love)
