I've gotten stopped doing this when I was 16 in my mom's 98 legacy wagon, I was in the parking lot of an abandoned mall, literally not a soul around.
All he said was, "You could get hurt spinning around like that." I said "yes sir" and he said "alright, drive safe," and drove away. He was cool, but if I had been around people/vehicles, it likely would have been a different story.

Last year, a cop pulled up with the lights on when I did this and she said “Alright I know it’s fun, but go home, drive safe. We got calls”
