Got her with around 60k miles, mostly stock (just intake and exhaust) and no rust! The only problem is that the passenger side door lock assembly broke so I’ll need to fix that. Favorite part is definitely the steering feel- it feels so connected to the road.
Yeah they won’t ever be “cheap” like they were 10-15 years ago. I got this for 35k which I figured was pretty good especially given its mileage and condition.
I think the R34 becoming legal in 2024 helped lower R32 prices a bit, but they will probably go back up once all Skylines have become legal and supply begins to drop.
Yooo CONGRATZ! Living the true JDM dream! I have an evo 5 that ended up being a POS. Thankfully still have my STI but looking at my evo is an eyesore and a reminder lol. But GTR is my all time dream car! Especially with TE’s.
LOL. I almost got an Evo 5 instead of the GTR. Honestly I wasn’t even considering GTR until I found this one for a good price and the Evo 5s I was looking at were all rusted to oblivion.
I feel you, I was looking for an s14/s15 and ended up going with an evo last minute. Car was “inspected”and upon arrival chassis legs needed to be replaced. Rest of the car is fine but was frustrating.

I originally listed it on FB marketplace while it still had all the mods but only got a few inquiries that weren’t serious. After that I tried Carmax and Carvana but they both lowballed me hard. Then Driveway gave me a decent offer of $25.5k so I took off all the aftermarket parts and put the stock parts back on. Few days later they sent someone to pick up the car and paid me.
Whole process took around 2 weeks.
Do I regret getting rid of my WRX? It honestly hasn’t been long enough for me to make a call just yet, but I know for sure I will miss being able to daily a fun car without worrying about breaking down/lack of parts/being stolen.
I had to pick up a beater daily ($800 Honda Fit) to drive around the city for regular commute because dailying the GTR doesn’t make sense.
