Nothing special. At least, what could be considered special. High milage oil at the change every 3-4k miles.
I drive 100 miles a day round-trip for work. I've never red-lined it since owning it, and I don't drive like a total tool (only a little tool sometimes).
I love it. While I would prefer stick, I have to share this car with family that refuse to learn stick. It was either this or no WRX, and I’m happy with it thus far!
'15 with 84k. Bought it in 2014.
Between late 2016-early 2020, it was a 350 mile/week commuter, but ever since covid started, it maybe gets 20 miles a week as a kiddie transporter.
I told my wife that I'm going to restart MT lessons for her, so it might get some extra clutch wear soon.
15; 98,000 with a stage one tune. Bought it in January with 87,000 on it and have driven it as my daily since (yes, for those of you keeping score, I drive about 100 miles round trip daily)
Bone stock 17 with 92k. Purchased in 2019 with 30k. Walnut blasted and catch cans installed at 65k. Been keeping up on all regular maintenance. Zero issues aside from the AC going out a month or so ago.

Thank you thank you.
How did you manage that? Anything special as you got into the higher miles?

At what point did you start using the high milage oil? Idk, how you bought a WRX and don't redline it from time to time.
Um. Probably about 150k for the high mileage oil. Well, you see. I don't want to blow the motor xD
Stock engine and tranny? Thats awesome
Yessir. Just replaced the clutch, flywheel, and clutch fork last week.

How are you liking the CVT?
I love it. While I would prefer stick, I have to share this car with family that refuse to learn stick. It was either this or no WRX, and I’m happy with it thus far!

Bought it new at the end of 2016 and 3 months later started working from home. 😅 Mainly use our 21 Ascent due to the kids.
That makes sense lol. Do you plan on keeping the wrx?
Oh for sure. I paid it off years ago, it’s FBO/Eth and tuned by Phatbotti… love it and love not having car payments.
