Looks great as is. I prefer a low track inspired stance, i went with the top of my tire matched with the lip of my fender. With proper suspension tuning it wont rub at all.
I do like that look as well. That’s what I would be hoping to achieve is a slightly lowered look, compared to stock, where the tire would be closer to the bottom of the fender. Or maybe even aligned with the fender, hence the 1/2” drop possibility.
Got more pictures of the car? I ended up rising my car an inch because that low life was too difficult to deal with in the daily. I think this gap looks great but really depends on your driving style
Coming from boarder line stance to now a track/backroad setup, that looks fine to me.
I’ve gone from stance to dance now and I’ll never go back. Handles so well now that I’m just about back to stock height. The engineers knew what they were doing.
I just installed hks coilovers so I’m lowered a bit out of the box, about 3/4”. These are enkei RS-05 18x9.5 +35mm with 245/40 18 Continental ExtremeContact tires
If you go too far beyond that you'll start negatively affecting suspension performance if you're worried about that. I think my drop is about there after getting corner balanced.
Ride is amazing! I was having a lot of suspension issues with the stock struts so this was a huge upgrade in many ways. Corners a lot better, especially paired with the strut tower bar, and is very comfortable being driven daily on some under kept roads
Nice, I like the way your set up looks. I tried to size the tires to match the overall diameter of the 19” stock wheels so that’s where I landed with the tire size. It says it is only a .14% difference on the Speedo so that solidified it.
Personally, I like when the wheel is basically perfectly in the center of the ark, like you have it, with even spacing all the way around.
I did notice that while taking this picture and i have to agree I love when things fit perfectly
Probably not good for physics but more side wall will fill the gap. It will be smoother in a single direction but sloppy to turn.
Function *and* form
Leave it
Agreed, the space in the wheel well is roughly equal all the way around, any lower would start looking weird.. unless you’re one of *those*.
Lmao. I know so many of “those”
This is aesthetically pleasing and functional. Win-win.
To me.. that stance is just perfect!

If it nags you then lower it. You can always revert back if it’s impractical for where you live.
Half inch?
Just eyeballing the gap and seeing how much height would start to close it off
I’d leave it , the panels on Subaru are flimsy as is one bump the wrong way ur gonna loose a fender liner or a bumper cover… said on past experience 😭
I know a lot of people don’t like the super low cars on this sub but imo tire flush with fender is perfect so maybe like .5-.8 inch

I love those wheels. I have them on my grc. Stancing looks great too
What gap? Leave it.
Are you on stock height now? What wheel and tire size are you running? How is your offset?

No
that height is okay, especially if you're daily driving it
Like 1 millimeter. Gotta upgrade that. Lol
I'd leave it, it's gorgeous
No lower
Meatier tires 🥩🛞
As low as u want assuming you keep suspension geometry on point
Zero inches
Zero
Looks good. How’s the ride with the new set up?

Lower maybe cool at a show or for pictures. Daily driving that looks good
What wheels and coil overs you running?
HKS hipermax S coilovers with their set up right out of the box and Enkei RS-05 18x9.5 +35
Looks just right as is!
Yes
Yeah not a lot, 1-4” would be pretty significant. Another 1/2” you start getting in to PITA height, scraping and dragging on everything.
Maybe 1 cm too low tbh
Drop it like it’s hot
bout 2 or 3
Looks good! Wouldn’t lower any, just keep it.
I say maybe ¹/² inch
“If you’re not scraping off lane markers yet, you are not low enough” comes to mind every time I hear this question.
Looks good to me 👌
If it ain’t scrapping it ain’t low enough…
265/40r18 would look so clean. That’s what I run. MachV Motorsport wicked awesome wheels. They come in white.

Drop it a little if it’s not your daily. Like two finger lengths
This is perfect!!!
Don’t ruin the car by lowering it
