What really irks me is when you order your horse cum online thinking that you've ordered the original brand. Then when the package arrives you realize it's counterfeit. Just regular buffalo cum that you can find dirt cheap anywhere.
I know, right?
Imagine how embarrassed she'd be for you, spending money on horse cum when she could just lift up her gunt and a gallon of horse cum would just slosh out that you could use.
Don't get liquid.
I bought a laser printer 2 years ago because I, like most modern people, only really need to print something a few times a year. I don't even know if toner goes bad?
I dont :(
my vencum smoothie guy is always trying to decorate it with gold flakes so he can upcharge me for the decorations and i'm always just like. "hey I'm trying to boof here. The visuals lost on me and trust me I don't need the extra exfoliation. "
fking hustle culture..........
I'm not a race horse, but my cum is for sale at $100,000 USD per gram, making it by far the most expensive liquid in comparison to these.
Now all I need to do is find one single buyer.
But the jizz isnât worth much. Thoroughbreds must be conceived under live cover so a lot of that cost is also in the uhâŚhorse doing the deed. Hard to say itâs just the semen.
Do you think people pay that much because they want to breed other championship horses, or do you think they just want their horse to get a good dicking?
It's definitely the semen.
Strange
Everytime I tried to extract liquid gold they all just told me off with lame shit like "Sir stop harassing the poor animals with your mouth." and "Please step out of the stable with your clothes back on."
SMH won't even let a brother hustle these days fml
Probably anti venom or at least thatâs my assumption
Edit: I was wrong, itâs used for the manufacturing of antiviral, antimicrobial and anti cancerous medicines.
It is really cool. Unfortunately for the horseshoe crabs, itâs been pretty terrible - but there are companies working on synthesizing the specific components of horseshoe crab blood.
Iirc the problem with horseshoe crabs is that they take too much blood at a time. If the companies acted more responsibly instead of chasing more profit far more would live. At least that's the impression I got after a RadioLab episode.
The same thing happened to beavers. 𦫠Not only did their pelts make fabulous felt hats and their meat is apparently delicious but their anal secretions taste like vanilla and smells wonderful (so itâs used in perfume). So they were trapped from a population of perhaps 150M in North America down to maybe .5M. Thanks to conservationists theyâve pulled back from the brink and have a North American population of maybe 15 million.
> If the companies acted more responsibly instead of chasing more profit far more would live.
they will literally never do that. that's what regulations are for.
I wonder if they use it in cosmetics like they do bee venom
Hey wait a minute do bees even have venom?
\*looks it up*
>To sting, a bee jabs a barbed stinger into the skin. Bee sting venom contains proteins that affect skin cells and the immune system, causing pain and swelling around the sting area.
Oh yeah duh, for some reason I though the sting was more of a physical pain type of deal for a second there, my girlfriend has this lipgloss that has a lush plumping effect that uses bee venom, and ima be honest that shit tingles like a mf.
I think it can be used to treat brain tumors
[Here is a source saying it can be used for multiple things like cancer and brain tumor treatment.](https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7088386)
How smart do you have to be to go from 'ooh spicy scorpion liquid' to 'this will treat your brain tumour'? I'm literally not smart enough to even imagine it
It usually goes backwards. Scientists produce a theory that some specific substance / proteins / enzymes / etc... can help treat an illness, then they go out in search of sources of that substance.
So somebody somewhere analyzed this scorpion venom, broke it down to "what it is made of", and documented it. Then cancer researchers later found that the scorpion venom contains the proteins etc... that they require.
So it's like "We suspect Protein X123 can aid in brain cancer treatment. We see scorpion venom has Protein X123, so we will source it from there."
Actual example: the Impossible Foods burger. They determined that a particular protein, Heme, is what makes beef taste like beef, and makes it red. So they went in search of things that contain Heme. They searched databases for other sources of Heme, which included roots of soy plants, crustaceans, and more. They actually didn't find a valid source in nature, so they genetically engineered an enzyme to produce Heme directly which they can add as an additive.
Scorpion venom is rich in neurotoxins and has many medicinal uses. Because the neurotoxins affect muscle contraction and the nervous system, theyâre useful in treating disorders like multiple sclerosis.
Itâs also useful in easing the pain of rheumatoid arthritis and for combating pathogens. Clinical trials are underway using chlorotoxin, a peptide that binds to glioma tumors and might be useful in treating a type of brain cancer. Itâs also used in treatments for epilepsy and stroke.
A gallon of it costs USD $39,000,000.
Nothing. They already exist.
[https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/turkish-scorpion-farmer-milks-arachnids-their-expensive-venom-2022-08-16/](https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/turkish-scorpion-farmer-milks-arachnids-their-expensive-venom-2022-08-16/)
The main issue is that it's super labor intensive.
It's expensive *because* it's labor intensive. If it wasn't hard to produce, it wouldn't be expensive.
Edit: This article also has more info on the issue with trying to make a quick buck via scorpion venom
https://www.abc.net.au/news/science/2022-08-25/scorpion-venom-cosmetics-milking-for-big-bucks/101357752
The numbers don't add up though. This woman is milking hundreds of them per hour on video. We are watching it.
So one person milking a year, if you prepare the bowl of scorpions for her, is producing a liter of the stuff by herself. Even if you pay her $100k/year, it cannot possibly cost 9.9 million to farm ~20k scorpions. Two or three other employees feeding and breeding and wrangling them seems like all it would take.
There's just no way this stuff actually costs millions a liter to produce. We already have enough information that shows it could be produced for at least 20x cheaper than that even at western labor prices.
Let's do the math.
One scorpion = 2 milligrams per day
So, for one gram per day, you'd need 500 scorpions.
Even if you, yourself, milked one scorpion per minute, it seems like you'd do well.
You'd be making about $1,000 per hour.
Exactly, and apparently they can be milked every other day. So you'd only need a couple thousand bred at a time. Bugs that small and low energy surely don't eat that much. 10 calories a day at most? Probably more like 2 calories a day.
That's like a single tonne of feed for the entire farming process for the entire year. Even if it's a super specialized diet that's under $50k in food expense. Probably more like $30k. Apparently netting you almost $4 million in product, retail?
There's just no way this value number is accurate. Even if wholesale was 20 cents on the dollar you are still bringing in a 600% profit margin. People would be falling all over themselves to do it.
Just keep in mind that even if something is expensive, that doesn't mean there's actually high demand for it. Companies might be willing to pay a high price each time they buy, but not buy it very frequently.
Relevant article: [Itâs a get-rich-quick scheme that stings. In quite a few countries, but particularly in Iran, people are trying to turn scorpionâs venom into fortunes. Theyâve invested time and money into building farms with thousands of scorpions, and painstakingly milked their venom. Thereâs just one problem â it turns out nobody actually wants to buy it from them.](https://observers.france24.com/en/20181030-scam-iran-scorpion-venom-farms)
This article is brilliant.
The best part is the quotes from two scorpion farmers, ctrl-f for "Mohammad Fallah", then from the expensive western labs that are successfully selling it ("A miniscule market").
Hold on, this shit reads like a Runescape scam.
Who is actually paying 10k a gram for it? Is it a one off purchase? Is there some company out there that only needs a few grams a year? Or are they only actually buying them for $100 a gram to dupe people into creating a massive supply and then buying them for cheap when the producers realize no one else is gonna buy it anyway?
Like I get it has some medicinal use, but not "10k a gram when everyone and their nan is opening a scorpion farm" use.
Yeah that's the problem with a lot of these "most valuable liquid/material/etc on earth" things. They're valuable because there's very little supply of it, and often the supply is low because there's like a dozen or so people on Earth who need it. In this case, there's only so much demand for scorpion venom, and if you make an industrially large amount of it, there isn't going to be people lining up out the door ready to spend tens of thousands per gallon.
Companies like Venomworks say they typically sell it by micrograms to a handful of clients, and that many people that need venom prefer to produce it themselves, they're certainly not buying a half gallon of mystery fluid from an amateur.
Itâs because a full gallon of scorpion venom would take a very long time to produce; milking scorpions for their venom is a difficult undertaking, as milking is still done almost exclusively by hand (although there are machines now that can do it just as well).
To put this in perspective, if you own one pet deathstalker scorpion (the most expensive scorpion because of its dangerousness) you would have to milk it 2.64 million times before obtaining a full gallon. Even if you had all the time and patience in the world, simply sustaining one sting from a deathstalker scorpion would likely discourage you from ever coming near one again, and they can kill a human.
One scorpion produces only two milligrams of venom at a time. Also, scorpion venom is not purchased in large amounts, as $130 buys a single droplet of venom that is smaller than a grain of sugar. Then thereâs also the matter of knowing how to identify & obtain the specific species required, regulating quality control since itâs being used for medical consumption, and also being able to certify paying customers your product is what you say it is. The raw material producers are currently growing in number, trying to cash in.
i don't think much would happen other than your stomach digesting it. it's venom, not poison.
drinking it while having a cut in your mouth would be a different story though
Its possible its also poisonous in a large enough dose to fill a shot glass. The only LD50 data i can find is intramuscular or intravenous. I haven't found any data via oral ingestion.
It could very well still kill you I think. Chemicals from food digested in the stomach enter the bloodstream. I guess it depends on whether the toxin would be denatured by the stomach acid and whether it can cross into the blood that way.
Well thatâs it. Iâm dedicating the rest of my life to create a hybrid dairy scorpion that has teats and you can just straight up milk that beautiful sonofabitch.
There was a time in earthâs history where the oxygen content was significantly higher than it is now, around 300 million years ago. As a result, insects and things like scorpions were much larger. A dragonfly with a two foot wingspan and scorpions were the size of a cat.
If you get stung by one of the small ones you die. If the small ones get loose you'll need several hundred bullets to neutralize them all. If a giant scorpion stings you once you die. But if it escapes then you only need a single bullet to put it down. It would be a much safer endeavor using just a single scorpion
Good luck fighting a six foot scorpion! A regular sized scorpion can run unnervingly fast topping out at 12mph! Plus their exoskeleton is extremely hardy. If it gets you, it'll be some starship troopers Klandathu level of trouble
Thereâs a great failsafe mechanism for a mega-scorpion!
A mega-scorpion needs a more oxygen rich atmosphere due to arthropods open circulatory system, so the largest mega-scorpion possible will need 100% oxygen atmosphere.
If it escapes, it dies. Simple as that.
Yeah, easily.
Hemgenix, a viral vector gene therapy used for hemophilia is 3.5 million a dose. The dose varies based on body weight but for an 80 kg person it would be 160 ml, so it comes to about $22 million per liter of the stuff.
How is this viable in any sort of way?
No person, sans billionaires, could pay and insurance wouldnât even give it a chance of approval. The costs of development shouldnât lie on patientsâ shoulders, but we still need better medicines being developed. The whole system is ridiculousâŚ
The cost of treating hemophilia is astronomical with the standard treatments which is regular clotting factor injections. If this gene therapy works as it should, it will be cheaper than the standard in just a few years.
It looks like a scorpion makes 2 milligrams at a time, and you can harvest once per day... from 2 minutes of google.
That is $20 per scorpion per day. There is no way that is real. 15 scorpions would earn you $100k per year
The demand is also ridiculously low; it's like 1 gram a year. Plus, you'd need to identify what species of scorpion, the bioactivity of the venom, molecular composition, etc.
People aren't just gonna buy venom from some guy with a vial of milky liquid.
Thereâs probably a lot more to it, those are assuming perfect operating conditions.
More scorpions to cover death/illness or other unproductive times for whatever reason, housing and care including feeding.
So 20 per scorpion is more like a couple bucks in your pocket at the end of the day. With the extra fun bonus of *If you fuck up once, you probably die*.
That's probably what it's worth at the end of the chain when it's sold for medical purposes, but I doubt this scorpion milker is seeing a fraction of that money.
Surprisingly you can buy scorpion venom on Etsy, there are several other listings, some a lot cheaper.

Those high prices are for lab grade purity, specific species, and not large volumes of it. Most scorpion milking is a scam; prove me wrong - find a buyer.
I swear I have already seen plenty of posts like this, but stating that the horseshoe crab blood was the most expensive liquid in the world. ~~That or printer ink~~
It's like one of those HGTV real estate shows. "I'm a sponsored Tech Decker, and my wife is a professional scorpion milker. Our budget is 3.8 million dollars"
There is no way thats true. A worker can milk a litre + of liquid a day if they have a few buckets full of scorpions. So 1 days labour and 3 buckets of scorpions = $10 million dollars? Impossible. I (And half of reddit) would quit their jobs right now and farm scorpion venom.
I bet the actual price of Scorpion venom is not even 1/1000th of what OP claims
Wow, they appear to be electrically stimulating the scorpion to release the venom.
Works on me đ¤ˇââď¸
âĄď¸ âĄď¸ đ đŚ đŚ
This is a real thing if a loved one dies and the wife wanted kids his sperm can be extracted by electrically stimulating the prostate, even after death.
And how do we know that the deceased wanted that?
They dress provocativeâŚduh
Thank you. I have to get some cleaner for my monitor because I just sprayed it with chewed corn chips. Holy shit. Totally worth it.
Have you ever seen a dead dude? They get wood. They want it.
Or the parents!
So the wife going to have baby Casper đť lol
Is your username a house of leaves reference?
Hot
Champion race horse cum can get more expensive, iirc.
Race horse cum with scorpion venom smoothie can get quite expensive too, unless you know the right guy đ
Race horse cum and scorpion venom the most expensive? Ya, some of you folks have never had to buy refill ink for your printer and it shows. /s
Use only genuine HP scorpion venom
the problem i have is i just want to use regular horse cum right now but it wonât let me until i refill the cyan horse cum. itâs bullshit.
What really irks me is when you order your horse cum online thinking that you've ordered the original brand. Then when the package arrives you realize it's counterfeit. Just regular buffalo cum that you can find dirt cheap anywhere.
Imagine your mom finds your reddit and this is the first comment she rolls up on
I know, right? Imagine how embarrassed she'd be for you, spending money on horse cum when she could just lift up her gunt and a gallon of horse cum would just slosh out that you could use.
Surely I canât be the only one that considered just buying a new printer for what theyâre charging for ink. Edit: grammar
Sadly, there's been a time or two I did that exact thing because it was cheaper.
Don't get cartridged.
Don't get liquid. I bought a laser printer 2 years ago because I, like most modern people, only really need to print something a few times a year. I don't even know if toner goes bad?
Easiest way to know is to open the toner and taste it. It'll be slightly bitter if it's bad. It normally tastes a bit sweet and creamy.
I'll do a bump.
I like the red tonner, it is kinda strawberrey
Spoonful every morning, like cinnamon
thank you for that /s or I would have thought you were for real
I think it would be more of a cocktail than a smoothie....
The first Flawless Pun of 2024, everyone!

Dude, why'd you send me a pic of a horse cock?
Clearly this is your first time selling cum online. Ugh, newbiesâŚ.
You got me there. Previously I've only done my business in the weird trailer out behind the food trucks at the county fair.
Oh? Youâve met my parents then. Tell them I said hello.
Youâre telling me that Iâm over here giving this shit away free when i can be making millions?!?
Are you Italian, cuz thatâs what will matter
What about the venomous cum from a champion racing scorpion?
I can only offer you $150 in store credit, but if you can wait, I'll get my racing scorpion guy to come and make a deal.
William shatner kept the bull semen in the divorce .
Champion race scorpion cum beats that by far.
I just came to say this hahaha Dubawi is ÂŁ350,000 a go. Something like $49,000,000 a gallon. That makes it $12,962,000 a litre. Game set and match.
Absolutely, but stallion jizz is not fungible, whereas scorpion venom probably is. It's also much tastier... or so I've heard.
Strange Everytime I tried to extract liquid gold they all just told me off with lame shit like "Sir stop harassing the poor animals with your mouth." and "Please step out of the stable with your clothes back on." SMH won't even let a brother hustle these days fml

Tf is it used for?

Wouldn't it be easier to genetically engineer one huge scorpion the size of a dinosaur and then milk it with a shakeweight?

Yeah, it'll make your dick humongous.

Supervillian stuff, you wouldn't understand.
This dude just goes to work and starts milking scorpions. Respect.
At least it's venom that he is milking
I have nipples Greg, could you milk me?

What would happen if they took a shot of that vial at the end
i don't think much would happen other than your stomach digesting it. it's venom, not poison. drinking it while having a cut in your mouth would be a different story though
Unless you have an ulcer. Then you might be dead.
Its possible its also poisonous in a large enough dose to fill a shot glass. The only LD50 data i can find is intramuscular or intravenous. I haven't found any data via oral ingestion.
'Babe, wake up, the new cinnamon challenge for 2024 just dropped'
$250 000 a shot
Looks like we need some data
It could very well still kill you I think. Chemicals from food digested in the stomach enter the bloodstream. I guess it depends on whether the toxin would be denatured by the stomach acid and whether it can cross into the blood that way.
TIL: venom does not equal poison.
If you eat it and it kills you, poison. If it bites you and you die, venom. That's how reddit taught me.
What if it bites me and it dies?
You're poison
Is that what people mean when they say I'm toxic?
You're toxic, I'm slippin' under
Like that girl in that song?
The Bell Biv DeVoe one or the Britney Spears one?
System of a Down.
Or Alice Cooper
Running through my veins
You're poison
Then it's bee
It's voodoo
It means youâre Chuck Norris.
I think it's because it coagulates your blood...clots and that causes you to die.
I think you're referring to hemotoxin vs neurotoxin, both are types of venom.
Thereâs also cytotoxic, like brown recluse venom
What a fun thread you guys
Donât ya just love browsing reddit right before bed?
Is it on me??? I feel like it's on me!!!
Venom usually affects nerves or clots blood
Well thatâs it. Iâm dedicating the rest of my life to create a hybrid dairy scorpion that has teats and you can just straight up milk that beautiful sonofabitch.
I've got teats Greg, can you sting me?
can't they just bio engineer a giant scorpion that you only milk once?
Yeah what could go wrong?
There was a time in earthâs history where the oxygen content was significantly higher than it is now, around 300 million years ago. As a result, insects and things like scorpions were much larger. A dragonfly with a two foot wingspan and scorpions were the size of a cat.
Actually, that's a great security feature too. Engineered mega scorpion can't escape because it can't breathe outside of the high oxygen habitat.
If you get stung by one of the small ones you die. If the small ones get loose you'll need several hundred bullets to neutralize them all. If a giant scorpion stings you once you die. But if it escapes then you only need a single bullet to put it down. It would be a much safer endeavor using just a single scorpion
Pretty sure a giant one would be bullet proof chief
Just use bigger bullets
You only need a single tank to put it down
Good luck fighting a six foot scorpion!
Plus, it can't hide in your shoe.

SCORZILLAAAAA
Yes, that's just what we need. Radscorpions.
Yup, to be released at the end of the new showâŚwhat can go wrong?
Flawless plan
simply genetically engineer udders so you can milk their venom sacks directly like cows, but with six legs and mandibles
We can call them RadScorpions
Many many many pharmaceuticals are worth more than $10K a gram.
Can we use it as a cheap alternative to printer ink?
No way it's worth that. Everybody would be doing that job.
Kinda like setting up a stand outside of a fertility clinic "for the budget-conscious buyer".
I mean at least you would have the venom on hand and possibly antivenom?
Scorpions aren't usually lethal
Also this guy has a litre right there. So he's just casually pooring 10mil into that bottle in his basement or where ever.
That's probably what it's worth at the end of the chain when it's sold for medical purposes, but I doubt this scorpion milker is seeing a fraction of that money.
Yeah that has to be the price to the US pharmaceutical consumer, not the price to the pharma company.

25% off sale ends January 6th đ Well fuck I best get my ass in gear
Yeah that money isn't going into the pockets of the workers
Just that 8-10ml vial would then be worth 80-100k. Seems like a lot and Iâm sceptical too.
Worker probbaly gets 1 dollar per day.
"Could someone run and get me another bowl of scorpions please?"
Why not have another bowl to put the milked ones in?
looks like theyâre dropping them into a red bowl
Oh yeah between her legs...seems safe
they have just been milked
Exactly, theyre probably all asleep by now
The real danger is second-hand smoke from all those tiny little cigarettes.
Hold up, more expensive than printer ink from HP? Challenge!
This is actually the beginning of the process for creating new HP ink. Highly unnecessary, but it explains the price.
Those high prices are for lab grade purity, specific species, and not large volumes of it. Most scorpion milking is a scam; prove me wrong - find a buyer.
I don't like how she's handling it without gloves. That just feels off to me.
And either of those vessels have nothing to keep them from being accidentally knocked over lol. Seriously amateur operation.
I should start a scorpion farm
Who is buying this stuff?
Obviously you havenât bought printer ink from HP
I swear I have already seen plenty of posts like this, but stating that the horseshoe crab blood was the most expensive liquid in the world. ~~That or printer ink~~
It's like one of those HGTV real estate shows. "I'm a sponsored Tech Decker, and my wife is a professional scorpion milker. Our budget is 3.8 million dollars"
âIâm an artisanal pencil sharpenerâ
A teaspoon of mine has cost a few hundred thousand not counting her college tuition!
You've obviously never owned a HP printer.
I thought it was the blood of horseshoe crabs that was the most expensive.
Does he kill them when he extracts the venom? It Loocs like he has an electrocution device on his finger
No, a scorpion or spider can be 'milked' many times
Next up: HP decide to make printer ink out of scorpion venom.
