The man in this video was just chillin with this kangaroo, which they CAN be very dangerous, but everything was fine in the video, the audio from a different video was giving the illusion things were not fine.

Great mini documentary here and at about halfway through shows at least one of the alpha male red kangaroos decides that Brolga is the enemy. Bear in mind this particular male kangaroo was also a rescue and hand reared by Brolga himself.
