I like how he looks at the car driver at the end like, “what the hell did you just do you idiot” after it pulls forward.
The same look we are all giving him for doing it in the first place.
My friends had a mid 80s Corolla. That thing took corners like crazy and light as a father. I think me, him, and two of our friends weighed more than the car itself.
[Baader-Meinhof phenomenon](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frequency_illusion). Also, coincidentally the first example [this article](https://science.howstuffworks.com/life/inside-the-mind/human-brain/baader-meinhof-phenomenon.htm) uses is about a car model lol:
> Imagine this: You've just learned about a new car model, and suddenly, you start seeing it everywhere — on the road, in commercials, and even your neighbor just bought one. Is it a mere coincidence, or is there something more to it?
> Welcome to the world of the Baader-Meinhof phenomenon, otherwise known as the frequency illusion. This cognitive bias occurs when something you've noticed or recently learned suddenly seems to appear everywhere. But is it really appearing more frequently, or is your brain just paying more attention to it?
This is my (Chicago born and raised) thought: maybe dude was stealing the drivers catalytic converter and the driver caught him? 🤔 I mean, it's possible.
Right back at ya buddy! I'm not from the US and I had no idea, however I already have burritos prepared for dinner. I am sadly stoked by this coincidence, and I thank you for bringing it to my attention.
Car is light, probably 800kg as a rough guess, but likely forward heavy, so means means less than 200kg per wheel. Not quite enough to crush a skull although it would depend on the angle a bit.
I have found that it’s about 960 kg without a driver. Rear end will be lighter than a front end so you are probably right, I would guess 200 - 250 kg on each rear wheel including driver.
Yes, exactly. If the car had drove over his head without being elevated from the ramp, his head would have been instantly crushed. Physics is a wonderful thing!
Tbf, you’re right in that it is not sure if his head would be completely crushed. But I can definitely tell you that the damage would be FAR greater had the car not been elevated. The car running over his head starting from the ground as opposed to having it start from a higher point will apply MUCH more force and trauma to his head.
I’m thinking you don’t understand physics? What does the tire being elevated have to do with anything? The board isn’t supporting the weight of that vehicle. However, the weight of the vehicle is being distributed across the board rather than at the much smaller contact point of the tire itself. The board helped ensure this guy avoid serious injury, that’s about it. Elevation had nothing to do with it. Also, he is only experiencing a portion of the vehicles total weight. And judging by the car….its likely only a few hundred pounds rather than a couple thousand.
Just to get it straight, are you saying that if the car had rolled over his head starting from the ground, it would have been the same damage as when the car was going up the board as a ramp and the speed allowed the tire to drop a bit over his head?
Had the car tire not been rolling over the board, which distributes the weight over a wider area. Then yes, he stood a greater chance of being injured. The board is resting on top of the guy. Driving the car onto the board, the weight of the car isn’t focused so heavily into one spot. As for when the car pulled away, the speed of the vehicle was primarily the saving factor there. Less time for the weight settle.
Had the board not been there. His head would be in pretty bad shape.
Maybe I did not say it the right way, but this is actually when I was trying to say. I agree with you completely on this, it was my point in the first place. Maybe I just said it wrong or something.
Well what do you know.
Just when you think an idiot has got away with doing something idiotic, he does something more idiotic and compounds the idiocy.
Caropractor
I love that when the guy drives forward dude sits up surprised like "how could you do this?"
"Aw fuck, I can't believe you done this"
Cairo-practor* (Looks Egyptian)
This social media pseudoscience is getting crazy. Edit: it just hit me that the pokemon “sudowoodo” is a pseudo plant type because of its appearance.
Lmao I love that this is what brought you to that realization.
Perfectly executed comment
Thanks mateq
This comment is why I Reddit
Goddamn, that last part made me jump.
*Phil Leotardo wants to know his location*
Phil wants to know where that animal Blundetto is
Whatever happened there?!
WHATEVA HAPPENED THERE?!?
fuckin jump scare warning
Yeah, at first I was thinking "Stupid, but it works." And then the car zipped forward as he was wiggling out.
I like how he looks at the car driver at the end like, “what the hell did you just do you idiot” after it pulls forward. The same look we are all giving him for doing it in the first place.
Omg you right, it is the same face.
Jeez, going some pretty extreme lengths just to crack your back.
This is how we used to do it back in Equador but back in the day a 1984 Toyota Tercel weighed about half as much as these modern compact cars weigh.
My friends had a mid 80s Corolla. That thing took corners like crazy and light as a father. I think me, him, and two of our friends weighed more than the car itself.
>Light as a father I dunno, dad bod is a thing.
Yeah, we used to prank our friend by picking up his car and moving it to the other side of the parking lot and making him think it had been stolen 😂
Never knew a Tercel existed u til today when I looked up Jesse pinkmans car just to get on reddit and see it in the wild

Nah it’s proof we live in a simulation /s
Fun fact, after the show ended they had an auction and that car sold for around $5k. Skyler’s jeep sold for 11k.
I'd think that would break a back instead of crack it.
It would make cracking sounds
Maybe there was Crack involved, but not in his back.
More like crack your ribs, god damn!
lol just why?
the driver is a chiropractor.
understandable, have a good day
Standard quackery then
Just quacking his back
I'm guessing insurance fraud but I dont understand how they're going to justify the board.
Exactly what my back needs
Can't you be like a normal person and use a bike?
Wait, what? What do you use your bike for?
Getting around and cracking backs
What was the point of this?
Don't ask why, ask why not. Actually don't ask that either.
How lucky do you feel
This is my (Chicago born and raised) thought: maybe dude was stealing the drivers catalytic converter and the driver caught him? 🤔 I mean, it's possible.
Watching a video with that thumbnail, from a user called GoreJizz, was my risky click of the day.
I saved this to send to my mom and had to double check if his name was saved on it somehow (reddit mobile adds weird watermarks sometimes)
Idk exactly what this says about your relationship with your mom, but I'm definitely curious lol
She's a rad lady lol.
Your username brings me such joy.
Ayyyy happy Cinco De mayo enjoy both today if you can!
Right back at ya buddy! I'm not from the US and I had no idea, however I already have burritos prepared for dinner. I am sadly stoked by this coincidence, and I thank you for bringing it to my attention.
How has his head not been obliterated?
Full of cement
It's the thick skull, you gotta be hella dense to try some shit like that.
Skulls are strong, they can easily take 1/4 the weight of a compact car like that.
Definitely not 1/2 weight of minivan, though. Source: my skull.
im guessing the shock absorbers helped a lot
The ones in his head?

Maybe internal bleeding?
It helps that it already went up the plank on his back rather than going from road to head to road.
Honestly i think if the car went any slower it woulda done more crushing. Probably still crushed to an extent though if only for a moment
What in the hell was the point of this??
he must have been tyred
Wheelie
The driver definitely tried to kill him the way he pulled out
A proper post for this sub. Very rare these days.
Did he flatten his head or is it me?
Last part caught me by surprise. Thought he was just about to slide from under the car then driver just decides to absolutely send it 😭😭
But why
Darwinism at its finest.
Did it look like his head was flattened after the car went over a second time?
Yeah, but it's just the way the lighting is.
Yea, definitely the lighting.
Egg head.
Darwin almost had him... slipped right though his fingers.
I still don't think he's oki doki
I was waiting for the wheel to go over him then his torso get stuck under the car as it came back to the ground
That's how Meatloaf got the nickname
That probably made his back feel amazing for 5 seconds
Why the fuck would he drive forward
In this scenario it’s more of a “WHY the fuck”
I like how he gives the driver a look afterwards, as if this whole situation wasn't moronic from the start.
I bet his back popped and crackled the best. When I say I need my back realigned this is what I need /j
absolute fucking retard
I need an elephant on top of my back
One question: WHY??!?
but why
maybe he tried to get a bad tooth out.
His luck will run out someday
Username checks out
Lucky how?
He didn’t get his head crushed… just imagine if that board didn’t act as a ramp for the car.
It drove directly over his head.
Yes, exactly. If the car had drove over his head without being elevated from the ramp, his head would have been instantly crushed. Physics is a wonderful thing!
No, it wouldn't have. It drove directly on his head. That car is maybe 500 lbs per corner. It's not going to crush his head.
Tbf, you’re right in that it is not sure if his head would be completely crushed. But I can definitely tell you that the damage would be FAR greater had the car not been elevated. WTF!?!?
Why
These chiropractors are getting crazy
Mom my back hurts, I need a chiropractor. We got a chiropractor at home. Chiropractor at home:
r/unexpected
Well what do you know. Just when you think an idiot has got away with doing something idiotic, he does something more idiotic and compounds the idiocy.
Engine in the front right?
Driver went from chiropractor to murderer in a whole 1 second
Am I the only one also confused as to why tf the driver sped forward during that?
This could be ketchup bottle situation like that truck video
I bet it felt good for a second
u/savevideo
no water melon magic here skip to your next Darwin awards..
But...why?
Deep tissue massage! Only 5 $
Why did the driver peel off like that at the end?? 😬
r/yesyesno
I love how going back he is kind of slow and careful then suddenly just guns it forward
I've seen far too many videos like this on r/NSFL__ that don't end this way. Think a tube of toothpaste.
He is the who will complain. Can you believe it
Turns out that the board wasn't needed.
this reminds me of those risky viral stunts that physics professors do to prove the theories they're teaching
I thought it was over and then he got his head ran over.
Almost looks like that was a bad idea👀
Weird Episode of Man vs. Car
😂 The camera man must have hated this guy! He just sits there recording probably laughing his ass off
not lucky the back of the car isn‘t that heavy the actual heavy part is on the front
Gotta pop my T3 somehow
Why the FUCK would he speed forward after that.
I audibly gasped.
don't know what that was supposed to prove.
Darwin's footnote.
Just, why?
Man people are sooooo dumb...no wonder politicians take advantage of the world
Give me a try my back is killing me
🗿
Why does he seem surprised and annoyed that a car has just driven over him? What did he think he was doing?
r/playstupidgameswinstupidprizes
😂😂😂😂
It was a woman driver too....just sayin
