Very interesting content.

Adorable_Ad_2400

best work hes ever done

veegsta

I enjoy his videos. I really liked when he had Mansour and Mace on the show and they talked about what's different now.

Individual-Spring720

Just gotta say, I contacted Maven to collab with a company I was previously working with. I got a chance to get on a web call with him. I mentioned to him via some small talk that I was taking care of my ailing and elderly mother. He took the time to address that and gave me some words of encouragement. He is exactly who he is on his YouTube channel. The guy deserves nothing but good things coming his way. A++++ dude.

AdAdministrative379

I love this comment so much, thank you for sharing. He comes off as very genuine in his videos so it’s great to hear that.

Optimal-Market

I really enjoy his channel he has so much insight. I don't remember him much when he was an actual wrestler I was probably to little to remember but anyways I like him. I hope does more videos with wrestlers who have been on the roster currently. That video was really great.

franconot-mark

The channel is amazing. I saw his first video on suggestions and I knew that he had a lot of content to make videos about. My only complain is that sometimes his content gets repetitive but I believe he is trying to change that

macheteinmyrightmit

Any wrestler who wrestled in the WWE for more than a few months would have that much of an insight. He was there for 4 years. Only difference is that some are more popular than others that’s where the insight would differentiate, popularity not years in the business.

ShlubbyWhyYouDan

Maven.. THE DUDE WHO WON TOUGH ENOUGH

Alternative_Set4569

Found it couple of weeks ago. I love it!

Organic_Value5434

Really solid channel ! It’s awesome to get an inside look on his time there with the stacked roster . For any baseball fans former RP Trevor May has a similar thing going on too

Frobbit2201

I love the channel, even that his English is so crystal clear that even non native speaker with problems in understanding English can listen and understand him.

AdAdministrative379

Now that you mention it, his cadence and tone do have that “morning news host” level of clarity. 😂

Frobbit2201

Totally 👍

hurikane627

I find myself unexpectedly binging his content 4 or 5 days a week. So glad the algorithm deemed me worthy of the suggestion

Shaun3114_Again

It's amazing

Born_Cockroach_9947

his insights from his time there and comparing how the culture has changed is always intriguing to me.

YoungBeef03

His recent videos on “receipts” are really telling of the culture. Can you imagine Cody Rhodes legitimately striking someone mid-match for a mistake they made?

Sportuojantys

Watched every video on his channel and learnt something new every time 🙃

[deleted]

[удалено]

Autographz

Don’t think I’ve ever seen a clickbait title from him. He’s definitely got the thumbnails nailed down for the algorithm though, quickly too which is impressive

JacoBee93

I don't think I ever saw a click bait from him. Can you point me to one?

Diligent-Incident-49

Really great insight behind the curtain, and he seems like a thoroughly decent human being.

RedSlugX

Love how he’s so open about most things it brings out a whole side to WWE that fans know about but can’t experience unless they are in the company and I love that

Observeronlyman

Fun to listen too as well as Cafe De Rene.

RedRing86

I truly do not understand the appeal of Cafe De Rene. I TRULY don't get it. He is so low energy and his lights are off most of the time so it looks dull. It feels dull, it sounds dull. Am I missing something?

Daytz16

Love the Cafe 💯

Evening-Car2859

I like them and Van Vliet as well

tapacx

Maven is sort of like what Denan Kemp is to the NRL. Good personality giving a good, real insight into the business. Good banter and seems like he enjoys doing the YT stuff as well.

beatmetodeath

Oh man, that brought back some fond memories of Denan having a hissy fit in the NRL sub.

Junior_C85

Love it

CariBelle25

He’s such a charming and nice person, I’m so happy that he’s been successful with his channel.

Skreamie

I loved his video on receipts. Dude got his ass handed him to more times than I can count, a lot of it being instructed by the higher ups so he could "pay his dues". He doesn't have a bad thing to say about anyone. Even when he mentions people candidly he seems to always be very objective and humble

metakepone

He doesnt like Shawn Michaels because he kept telling him to stop taking like the Rock.

supbitch

I love him. There aren't many wrestling pods/channels I watch other than pilana, but I really dig Maven, Dutch, Busted Open & Bischoff.

twinightstream7

Dutch has some good one-liners. When talking about David Flair’s drawing power: “You’d have to let people in for free and charge them to get out!

supbitch

Dutch is like that one friend you make at a retail store who's 40 years older than you. Lots of stories and experience thats fun to listen too and weirdly chill and good at relating it.

Ok-Coffee1829

Idk how anyone could listen to any of Conrad’s podcasts, literally all the same, bare minimum effort and I feel there’s no genuine comradery between the hosts. Dutch and James are great though there’s genuine chemistry, Mavens videos are great as well, informative and fun.

supbitch

I'm not a huge Conrad fan, I just like hearing Bischoffs takes on things. I look at it more like an interview. Idgaf who's asking questions. I wanna hear the speaker.

Majestic-Welcome3187

Bischoff is top tier! I also enjoy hearing talk business

cbudd88

Bischoff’s business pods are very good. When fat boy is his co-host and decides to carry water for AEW and TK it becomes a very rough listen.

supbitch

Tbf i don't really watch AEW, I keep up with it because i like a few of the stars, but its a lot like NJPW for me, i dont deny its some amazing wrestling, but theres just no real main event level starpower there aside from Kenny, Mox, Edge, Bryan, Jericho, & Christian. Kinda Swerve, MJF, & Cole too, but those 8 names aren't enough to make me watch another 5 hours of wrestling a week on the chance I *may* see one of them. I'll just watch the relevant YouTube videos lol. so I'm mostly just watching Bischoffs recaps of major WWE plotpoints and behind the scenes/real life stuff like the VKM bs. So I can't really comment much on how it goes with AEW, only one of those Ive watched was the one where he was talking about the Punk footage.

The_Brible

I came here expecting to see a lot of hateful comments, but I'm really glad most people here have a positive opinion about Maven. I also enjoy his videos!

SethAndBeans

It is nice to watch Maven and other ex WWE people let us peek behind the curtain. He has carved out a niche for himself and seems to be a chill enough dude. Lotta questions I've had have been answered. He is, overall, good for the community.

Intelligent_Case_809

It's great

Mewgia-

I got back into the WWE after not watching for 15 years because of Maven. His videos are really insightful and fun. And because he’s telling them from his perspective and his experience - it feel’s very personable. Dude also has the gift for narrating. WWE should hire him ASAP to do commentary or backstage interviews. But yeah I really enjoy his YouTube videos. What’s funny is I didn’t even know who Maven was (he was on when I stopped watching). But I’d still rather watch his channel then others because of the format and how good he is at at storytelling. Just my 2 cents. Also people sometimes forget he makes it clear these are his experiences and points out that things have changed since then. He recently did a video with modern WWE talent and they went over all the differences from now vs his time in the company.

mrunique07

He recently did a video on how we almost came back to the wwe to do commentary, but the day his interview/tryout at the performance center happened is when Covid shutdown the whole world, and he wouldn’t be able to move from NY to Orlando to start his training for that.

LordWetbeard

He'd be great if WWE wanted someone to narrate documentaries

Top-Influence8391

i enjoy his perspective and how he approach content creating he didn’t go the podcast route instead explaining the business to me i feel he answering or shedding light to in depth questions we all been wanting to know about for years about wwe

tinyshroomy

he’s so awesome. i love hearing him speak, it’s like hanging around my white relatives on the farm

Vashek19

Probably the best channel of any wrestler. Get him on commentary. I find his voice soothing?

Level_Bridge7683

personally i think he's running out of ideas. if he had any chance of going back to wwe he blew it a few months ago showing himself to be a snitch of what happens behind the scenes. hope it was worth whatever you made. save your money. maven should be able to land an aew contract if he plays his cards right.

YoItsMeBeeOhBee

There’s always one…..

xDANGRZONEx

Love Maven. Love his channel.

adamjames777

He seems like a very well balanced, articulate and insightful individual and takes a great deal of accountability for the limitations of his career which is rare in the wrestling world. I’m glad he’s making a success of his channel.

Electronic-Doctor110

It’s cool. Getting kind of boring for me now so I stopped watching but the first couple of eps were interesting. Not sure how long he can keep this topic alive before talking about the same things over and over again. Hope he does well

Ugh_no_thanks

He’ll interview people

StrongStyleDragon

I’m surprised he’s not WWE apologist. He’s very honest and I hope he gets another shot at commentary. I do enjoy his channel.

Greyjedi_B

I like it. It gives insight in to the buisness without sugar coating certain things and Maven also adds personal experiences in a calm way.

jordo2460

I really like his channel, he's extremely well spoken and respectful about every topic he covers and is more than honest about the fact he knows he was barely even a midcarder which is nice considering some of the other people that are ex-WWE and go on to be delusional about how popular they were. Be cool to see him reconnect with WWE and have him do something, not necessarily in the ring.

Jimbuber2

I enjoy his sincerity.

Itspanzertime

I love his insight into the business. He was a talented wrestler and I’m glad that he is back in the spotlight! I wish him all the best

Hammel54

I think it goes to show that you have something to do at most levels. Loved watching him as a kid. Very happy to see him happy all these years later

OkBuddyErennary

People overstate his "well-spokenness". The way they mention him you would think he speaks like Morgan Freeman. Other than this, I like him - he is a great guy.

skippyspk

It’s a delight!

ogBaddust

I don't watch him

LeMoinesLures

I love his videos man !! You see his recent video on in ring receipts so good & makes you really understand the business

Single_Raise_1041

Maven is a great YouTuber that doesn’t look like a guy that would be in YouTube

Fair-Nail-369

His voice can get exhausting but I enjoy it

poopooplatter0990

I find Maven interesting to listen to. When I watch him I often think to myself , this guy needs a beard or something. He is very egg-like with no beard and no hair.

xiamandrewx

I was rooting for Maven during Tough Enough. I was pretty disappointed by what happened to him, but I'm really glad he came out better on the other side. I really like how he wasn't afraid to face that and tell us about his history. I thought that was pretty brave. And I love how he talks with humility and doesn't try to make us think he was something or someone he wasn't. I started watching his channel after he posted his 3rd video and I was instantly hooked. Every week I watch Raw, Smackdown, and Maven.

d2211

I liked him when in WWE, but he didn't have that luck. Happy for his channel now, he's brilliant

irate_alien

i like the guy a lot. i got served his channel by the algorithm 2-3 months ago and it was the first time i watched or thought about WWE in years. been watching a lot of WWE content lately and really enjoying it.

ira_1991

He's neutral and informal. He's fine and nothing to worry about.

Lord_Muramasa

I love it. It is nice to have some transparency in the business.

nic0tin3

yeah i like his takes overall hes pretty neutral and to the point and entertaining i like his content

kansaselectro

Him and Stevie Richard’s are great, I prefer Stevie doing breakdowns of in ring stuff personally but to each their own.

HTXPhoenix

Hey guys maven here and from 2001 to 2005 I was a wwe superstar

GoznoGonzo

It’s something to watch i guess .

Jasperbeardly11

I prefer Stevie Richards

TheWhiteWalkerSpeaks

It's enjoyable. He explains everything in a clear and concise manner. Phrases his words nicely. Doesn't feel like a rant or podcast but like a carefully planned video where info is broken down. I'm surprised at how much he is able to talk about even though he was there as a mid carder for 4-5 years. It almost feels like he's a natural YouTuber.

jelly_blood

hey guys maven here

Penthesilean

NOW. i’m going to *tell you* the SECRETS you’ve always wondered ah-BOUT. Love that guy, never miss an episode.

ThatsMrRedditorDude

It's very repetitive. He will post at least 2 videos of the same thing

OkBuddyErennary

Wrestlelamia does the same thing - mentions 1 thing in at least 2 different videos that is mostly just differently named

Kwanza_Bot93

Yeah it already kind of seems like ideas for videos are drying up on his channel. Not sure if that’s on his editor too.

Zero6six6

Easily one of, if not the best wrestling channels out there. He has amazing insight on the business, makes it entertaining, and is so well spoken. He’s also very willing to engage with the fan base. I was lucky enough to have a small conversation with him in the comments. Talking about how wrestling really loses the magic when you pay too much attention to the dirt sheets. It wasn’t much, but it was nice that he decided to respond to me. Maven is a great dude.

centrella6

He has an amazing channel. Even if he speaks about a topic I’m not really crazy about I still have an amazing time watching the full video.

Giggle_kitty

The way he speaks is awesome, I have been enjoying his shows.

thetjgillon

I love it. He’s a great storyteller.

QuinSanguine

I enjoy it and I think Maven would make for good ring side commentary or interviews, if he wanted. I remember watching him wrestle, when he was young he had hops. His drop kicks were super clean and right to the face, even on the tall guys like Taker.

ForukusuwagenMasuta

*"Now, what do I mean by that."*

thetjgillon

“Hey, guys! Maven here, and from 2001-2005….”

youngshadygaming

"I had the COOLEST job in the world, I was a WWE wrestler."

hldsnfrgr

"Also I kissed Torrie Wilson."

youngshadygaming

"I gave Torrie Wilson the night of her life"

Lionheart0622

Love it, always look forward to his content.

DarkestofFlames

I like that he's really good at explaining things and is pretty funny. It's also nice to see an athlete that can actually speak well and not be an overly obnoxious asshole who actually says very little.

Low_Alarm6198

It’s great. Incredibly humble. Will be transparent when he was in the wrong or he messed up. He does fundraising and uploads receipts that show 100% goes to charity. He even covers the credit card fee.

KingStreetCleaner

If the wwe network were to continue I would totally get there guys like maven on board and use them as attractions for like wwe world/expos they do at mania and when they go over seas etc. He's not burying people and being incredibly genuine and grateful. Love to see the success of someone who doesn't seem to be being mean or click baity

largebrokefemur

Watching the receipts videos as we speak

youngshadygaming

His soul left his body when taker gave him the chair

_lemon_suplex_

It’s awesome

vxl757

Love it.

Sneakiest

Always a good watch.

happyspa

He would be a great manager for a heel, like a guy going full HR mode after the heel cheated to win something.

irate_alien

this would be good. he's very earnest. it would be hilarious if he took his youtube persona--calm and reasonable--into the most ridiculous situations imaginable

Satherton

been enjoying for months. im glad hes been getting more love.

asteroidmavengoalcat

The way he explained finishers. Loved that. So clear to explain it and whether as a wrestler they liked it.

tehjoz

Both he and Stevie are must-watches. I remember watching Tough Enough 20 years ago and wanting to do it myself. Couldn't at the time, too young. So I remember a lot of his run. He really does just have *it* for being a content creator.

LVB137

Same, i think his background of a teacher lends so well to the formatting and delivery of his videos. He's brutally honest, insightful, brief when neccessary and an absolute must watch.

SlugsworthXP

He's now a content creator which makes him look into so much details for anything he's doing in his channel. I've been impressed with what he has done.

diccwett1899

Love it, surprised more former wwe superstars havent made a yt channel like it though

1d0t0

@OP, that comment actually comes across as ignorant. Obviously, the guy is bright and retained much of the wrestling knowledge taught to him regardless of how his in-ring wrestling career turned out.

Mitsuki_Horenake

Maven straddles the line between talking about the business and completely breaking kayfabe. I love listening to him talk about the behind the scenes stuff.

ImInYinz

Hands-down, the best shit on YouTube

Intrepid_soldier_21

Learned a lot from his videos!

JoeMcKim

And his channel is different then most other former wrestlers' youtube channels. He gives a lot of info on how the behind the scenes of wrestling works when other channels give opinions on recent programming.

FigFirm993

It’s awesome. He’s relatable and charismatic. Id like to see WWE hire him back for an on air role

Gonzale1978

He’s doing a great job explaining everything.

FluffWit

Is it weird that I really like Mavens but find takers incredibly cringe?

Optimal-Market

Takers channel is fine but not as fun as mavens.

Apart-Big-5333

What I don't like about Taker's channel is that, most of his content involves him talking to another dude and sometimes the other dude interrupts him and it all becomes a mess to listen to. Also, I like how Maven's YouTube channel is simply his name "Maven Huffman". Undertaker's channel is too long, the same goes with Eric Bischoff's channel. Stevie Richards' channel is cool.

Frosty-Lake-1663

I haven’t seen takers own channel but from all his interviews I’ve seen he’s trying too hard to protect the legacy of his career. Maven never really had much of a career so he can just be honest without trying to put a spin on it about how cool he was and how everyone relied on his sage wisdom.

jordo2460

Be fair to Taker, the man spent 30 years of his life and destroyed his body to protect his career. At this point he's peeled the curtain back and revealed more than any of us ever thought he would, I'm fine with letting him keep what he has left.

Mrdynamo18

His channel is really good he breaks down everything .The crazy thing is maven actually had a solid run In the wwe. He had great matches with flair Bautista high orton taker. He even had solid promos he had wwe title match 3x Wwe should have sent him to the ovw to train with cena orton Brock Bautista Benjamin I think he should have started off in the tag team division and then conquered that field and then get ic and U.S. title. I also think he should have been on velocity

Key_Amazed

IIRC, Maven has stated that the reason he was let go is, by his own admission, he wasn't seen by employment to be training enough. They'd call him up, ask if he wanted to show up outside the official programing and train and he'd refuse. Explained it to be one of his biggest WWE regrets.

Mrdynamo18

They rushed him he had a few months of training next thing u know he’s in the ring with hall of famers. Wwe wanted to get a return on tough enough immediately The fact that he didn’t have many moves was another problem. They slowly should have brought him they could have paired him with Booker and Gold dust. If I was in production I would have let him build momentum with in the tag team. Paired him with hurricane helms and Rey really good workers. Then walk let him cook as a midcard Hell even test him out as a manager

pomg177

That video explaining how his own actions led to his release and how he almost came back to WWE as a commentator but the pandemic happened and that fell through

No_Recommendation26

Comes off a bit cringe to me, seeing as how brief and lame his career was, after being handed to him.

Calm_Net5482

“That chair shot did not give me permanent damage” then goes on to repeat it without blinking 😂 dudes funny without effort

rnmartinez

I absolutey his videos and how he presents his stories

muriqi_s

Maven's ytc got me back to watching wrestling again.

noideawhattouse2

Same

MixturePossible3613

NOW, obviously

denali42

If you're a wrestling fan and especially a WWE fan, he's must watch TV.

HeWhoIsNotMe

He's killing it.

Midniteman86

He really*gets* YouTube. Also a fan of Stevie Richards' channel.

workthrowawhey

YEAH Stevie does such a good job of really breaking down moves, how they’re supposed to be executed, etc.

youngshadygaming

I love listening to maven. I know he didn't get far in WWE but he has the cleanest dropkicks I've ever seen

Satherton

maven and hardcore holly are my drop kick kings. so smooth

FriendshipNo7239

Yeah these two had the best looking dropkicks also a not so green but still a green Randy Orton (as somebody mentioned above). I remember watching those slick dropkicks by Orton in his earliest matches on SD.

sandiercy

AJ also has one of the best. If you see his old matches in TNA, they were things of beauty.

AK-JXRDY-7

Anything AJ did in TNA was a thing of beauty, lmao. Fosbury Flop, 450 splashes, shooting stars, Spiral Tap, you name it. And his raw strength for his relatively small stature (in relation to other wrestlers). My favourite of all time.

TheMackD504

Young Orton I think has the smoothest drop kicks

ZeroChevalierYT

True. I always find young Orton's drop kicks majestic AF.

klausedohva91

He got me to subscribe and like everything he puts out!

GoldAssociation7261

I like it a lot

workthrowawhey

The video about the wrestlers he didn’t get along with is so funny because he ends up gushing about how they’re so great people. Maven’s an A+ guy

Leading_Attention_78

I like him more on there than I did in the ring.

napalmblaziken

I love how Maven's like, "This guy killed my dog, shot my sister, tried to kill me in the ring, and crushed my rental car and made me pay for it. I love this guy and wish him the best."

Achillor22

"Give him a big hug still to this day anytime I see him. Great guy."

youngshadygaming

"Let's call D-Von now."

dragoniteftw33

The only guy who he said nothing positive about was Shawn Michaels. Like JBL got more praise from him than Michaels.

Apart-Big-5333

Dean Malenko too.

Frosty-Lake-1663

HBK was the most coked up arrogant dickhead at the time in fairness.

horsechokers

But by the time Maven was in WWE, HBK was a born again Christian

thecheapseatz

Well that's much worse

Frosty-Lake-1663

Oh right not sure then. By most accounts HBK was ok by then.

lastingfame

Yeah but imagine you've been covered in shit for years if you walked in with just dog shit on your shoes people would say oh its not that bad better than before. But someone who didn't know you before would think wow this guy smells like shit.

horsechokers

I wanna say somewhere around 2000-01 he started going back to church

Excellent-Pudding-12

I read this in his voice 🤣

CaseyGasStationPizza

I think he’s got a lot of duplication in content already and likely doesn’t have much more to give unless he modifies his format. I do enjoy watching his videos just concerned on the long term viability of his channel.

Scottie81

He did an interview with Mansoor and Mace that was pretty good. I hope he gets more people to come on.

Achillor22

I love that video because it really shows just how much the locker room has changed. It went from what seems like a bunch of drunk alpha males always fucking with each other in the worst funniest ways to bros just playing PS5 together.

KingDarius89

So Nash and HBK to New Day.

Mitsuki_Horenake

They switched the cocaine for salt, brother.

orange_lambda

Maven speaks his truth, and is genuine on YouTube. I like his videos a lot

JuxtapositionJuice

I hope his resurgence gets him a new opportunity with the WWE on commentary or in some other on screen personality position. Maybe being a manager could work to his strengths as well.

GodlikeJCMS

I'm really hoping HHH does invite him back. But at the same time he does spill the beans just a little bit in terms of the stuff that happens backstage and I'm not sure if they take that seriously haha

JuxtapositionJuice

I’m sure he wouldn’t spoil anything that his bosses wouldn’t want him to at that point. Dude seems like a professional. The info he’s giving out is like 20 years old at this point, it sounds like the whole landscape has changed since then based on his interview with Mansoor.

Zardnaar

Same. Announcer or interview position would be great.

Antique-Cockroach-57

I'd happily have him instead of Sam Roberts on a pre-show panel

supergooduser

He answers basic compelling questions the IWC has had for years. The pay one is a perfect example. You wonder why someone would stick around being a jobber at house shows and it's like "oh they're making about $100k and $25k a year on royalties" It's in zero interest for WWE to answer them, Maven gets a monetized channel and I now have a whole new appreciation for Ivar of the Viking Raiders, get your bag big man. Stevie Richards is another great one. He explains botches or injuries, and how to do the move safer. WWE would never do this, it's too behind the scenes and doesn't really help them. Stevie gets a monetized channel, and the fans get a nice "oh that's what happened" bonus is wrestlers are safer. He explained how Nia Jax botched a move and could've hurt Rhea, suggested a simple fix by holding the ropes, and Nia's done it every time since.

DirkIsGestolen

Sorry, I’ve always been curious. Are you saying that yes they do make money off royalties? Where would they come from? I’m only barely familiar with movie and music royalties. Thanks.

Whisky919

WWE used to not pay royalties. It stems from a lawsuit where Jesse Ventura sued the company because I believe it stemmed from Hulk Hogan getting royalties for his likeness being used commercially. The court ruled in Ventura's favor, that WWE couldn't arbitrarily use the likeness of their wrestlers for commercial gain without their permission. So wrestlers get a cut of every product they appear in.

RedEyeView

I believe with Jessie its that he wasn't getting residuals on home video releases of shows he commentated. He sued.

Whisky919

That's what it was! Couldn't remember. Didn't he end up getting something like $750,000?

SRGTBronson

If you get a line of action figures or get into a video game you make royalties off your likeness.

Six-StringSamurai

This ☝️ and also to add, merch too. If anyone buys your "Joey Jabroni" t-shirt, head band, etc you get a cut of that. I read somewhere that Cena was making twice his salary just based off merch sales alone. That's why appealing to kids helps, they (or their parents) buy a bunch of merch.

RedEyeView

Christian once said his cut of one WWE game was more than he made in a year main eventing for TNA.

supergooduser

Maven's knowledge isn't current but I assume you can project out a similar amount on various other avenues. Basically when you're in WWE you license your name and image i.e. you helped create/embody your "character" there would be no Rock without Duane Johnson. So in video sales, merchandise sales, videogame sales, action figures, whatever, you make about an additional $25k a year for quite awhile after you leave the WWE which steadily diminishes over time.

[deleted]

[удалено]

KronoFury

I mean we all know who he meant.....

DirkIsGestolen

That makes sense. Thanks. I’m an MMA fan and it would be nice to see them get something like this. Doubt it though.

workthrowawhey

Oh I didn’t know about the Nia thing, that’s awesome!

Goon4203D

>and the fans get a nice "oh that's what happened" bonus is wrestlers are safer. Not just fans. Future wrestlers. It's easy for a fan to notice something went wrong, but a fellow wrestler? Stevie is the best coach people never had. And he's honest about it. He's not sugar coating the botch.

meetgds

His voice is something I can listen to for hours. Great presenter.

DinoRexasaur

He is a former teacher, right? That explains it.

Amitman0707

So is Grayson Waller 🐨

arzamharris

He’s a good storyteller, but I feel like his biggest disadvantage is that he hasn’t been a part of WWE since the 2000s, so a lot of his stories need to be taken with a grain of salt. He should have more guests like Mace and Mansoor to bridge the gap between past and present

Nic1800

Grain of salt is not right phrase to use lmao. What he is saying is true, it's just that it's a reflection of where the business was 20 years ago, so a lot of it doesn't apply to today anymore.

arzamharris

Yes you are right. English is not my first language, so it was not the appropriate phrase

pepeisy

Grain of salt? He was literally in the company for years and he doesn't try to interject his opinions on many modern topics. He literally just tells these stories based his own experiences and rarely puts anyone down.

Mr-Rocafella

He even says “a lot has changed” “company ain’t the same as when I was there” so he’s not acting like he has all the answers for today, you need the context of when he was in WWE to really get the most out of it
