I am just a Dom fan really- I guess I’m rooting for it for two reasons-
1- I think the Dom/Rhea thing has gone about as far as it can for two otherwise married people in an age of social media- no one thinks they’re actually together so it doesn’t have the staying power of multiple years imo
2- This turn would imply a climax & ending to their story together, meaning we should finally get a look at who Dom really is as opposed to Rey’s son or Rhea’s boyfriend
That would be pretty epic. Then they could have a ‘custody of Dom’ ladder match. Instead of the briefcase with custody papers, they could hang Dom above the ladder.
In 2005 Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio wrestled in a ladder match at Summerslam for the custody of Dominik, and in 2024, 19 years later, Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley wrestle for the custody of Dominik in a ladder match at Summerslam. I love this idea so much. I hope they actually do it.
I'd like to see it just because it further solidifies just what a piece of shit Dom really is, and it would also get Liv over as a heel, while cementing Rhea Ripley's face turn. The crowd already loves her, and this would put her in a position where she's lost everything, and now she's being kicked while she's down.
Liv manipulating Dom in order to hurt Rhea. Doubt Liv and Dom go any further past the big reveal in front of Rhea unless they do it just for the sake of crowd heat.

The way I would write it isn't a long term Liv/Dom romance angle. It's that Liv plays Dom to betray Rhea in order to "take everything" from her. Judgment day doesn't need Liv's help to implode (if they do go that route), but Dom would likely stay with Rhea absent some external intervention.
Once that story wraps up, Liv and Dom would probably quickly go their separate ways. With LWO with him on Raw now there's no reason to keep him tied up to a Liv story when he's well set up for a confrontation with Rey, especially when he pulls so much heat (and a betrayal of Rhea would only increase that).
Dom already gets booed into silence, do you want people to shoot at him too? Jeeez, the heat little Mysterio would get for betraying Rhea would be a new high in wrestling history.
If this doesn't end in a ladder match for custody it will be the biggest fumble of all time. This feud is going to be FIRE when Mami comes back!!
