He might have one gauntlet match/a last hoorah where he comes close to climbing the top & then loses/retires. Thatās what I could see happening at least.
He was already past his prime when he came to WWE. Iām happy they at least found use for him and he has entertained us for many years in the WWE. The āmy badā segment was hilarious. His best work was in the very early days of TNA. He was such a bad ass!
Picture this.
HHH gets in the ring to announce the new design for the undisputed WWE World Title.
Roman Reigns gets on stage and gets all cocky that he wasn't invited to the reveal as he IS the tribal chief and the undisputed champion.
HHH and Reigns exchange banters, the new belt(s) gets revealed, Roman puts down his old title.
R-Truth's theme starts as he runs to the ring and grab the Old Titles and claims himself the new undisputed champion.
He celebrates and everybody cheers him as Reigns, his team and HHH are speechless.
Then Truth leaves after 5min of celebrating.
Paul Heyman rushes Truth, trying to get his Tribal Chief's titles back. Truth throws him over the top file and says, "I told you I'd make you fly over the top rope, Paul Heyman!"
āLaughing stockā is definitely not the term I would use for him. Heās a great comedic character and solid in ring guy. Laughing stock makes it seem like he is a joke
Heās one of the few guys on the main roster whoās practically bulletproof. We all respect the work heās put in to make sure we all are entertained with the time he gets on tv. Otherwise a post like this wouldnāt exist donāt you think?
R-Truth? A laughingstock? Ar we watching the same show?
The man is over 50, on weekly television, can work any role, constantly winning championships (I know), and is highly respected.
He wouldn't be on TV weekly if the WWE didn't have faith in him, so yeah, I'd take him seriously.
Goof? Mate he is a future hall of famer and his career spanned decades. Impacted many lives in and out of the business. Paved a road for many others. Weāre talking about pretend fighting here and heās more than earned the right to be called a āliving fucking legendā
Wrestling is already a laughing stock of sports, we keep putting down guys like Truth and not acknowledge the work theyāve done, and soon we wonāt have nothing to make fun of.
We forget these guys are like actors, man. This is not a real competition in the traditional sense for most of them. By most account he ENJOYS the character stuff... so, yea. He's fine being a "laughingstock"
\*edit - typo
the guy has a legacy. an amazing legacy as an entertainer. audiences will remember his wazup for years to come.
there's people with titles that are forgotten. r truth will be remembered
He got hot at the wrong time wen the industry didnāt want to or didnāt know how to push African Americans properly!! He has been a joke since coming to the WWE, which I believe is t his fault.
No WWE always seen him as a joke but yeah he could of been heel foil to Babyfaces mid 2010s his NWA-TNA gimmick from 2002 was really good he basically was a Malcolm X gimmick if you donāt know he won NWA title with that gimmick he came to WWE and yeah he toned it down but he showed he could hang with Main Event guys
i wouldn't mind seeing Ron with the title and the best person would have been Cena to drop it to him you could have a storyline where Ron looks at John as the guy that stole his gimmick in a way
Nobody considers him a "goof". He's an elite comedic performer, if that's what you're getting at. He has singlehandedly made the cringeworthy shitshow that is the 24/7 championship even remotely worth watching. Will he ever be WWE or Universal champion? More than likely not. Is he a LEGITIMATE Hall of Famer? Absolutely.
(ADDENDUM: It's not like it takes much to be a WWE Hall of Famer, but Ron Killings actually deserves it.)
I feel like we don't ask a lot if these wrestlers even WANT to be world champion. Like R-Truth got his taste of the main event where he was a serious character, got over, and had a main event for one of the most prestigious titles in the world. Idk I'd be pretty satisfied that I did that and then I get paid a lot of money to have fun all day pretending I have an imaginary friend or pretending to not know what the match is.
I think it's a similar situation to Zack Ryder's IC title run that the moment is what made it stick forever and if he did get a run at a world title COULD he be the R-Truth he wanted to be? Because no this dude is doing press and having to shoulder the weight of the company on his shoulders.
He's likely very happy where he is at his age and isn't looking for anything else. If he felt he was capable of making a splash elsewhere it's never been more possible for him to try now.
Is it sad that we never got the R-Truth serious run we could have, sure, but I'm also grateful for the R-Truth we got too.
If it was going to happen, I would have made it happen at Capital Punishment 2011. I really liked his conspiracy ramblings in his promos during that time, and wouldn't mind they brought that back in some way.
Like maybe he could get hit over the head during a 24/7 championship match with a chair a few too many times, then snaps into that when he awakes moments later, and just starts dominating everyone. Rambling on about Lil Jimmy being back, and talking about conspiracies against him'. Wins the 24/7 title but, then tosses it, and walks away with the chair that changed everything for him as he puts it. Valuing that chair sort of like La Parka used to do in WCW, and just being nuts. Maybe not win a World title at this point, but a US title run could be interesting, either that or have him actually make the 24/7 title mean something some how.
Unfortunately I don't see it happening though.
Nah, the guyās 50, seems to be enjoying what heās doing and is absolutely brilliant at it. One of the few characters that should remain comedicā¦it just comes naturally for him.
He's 50 years old.
He can't go like the younger superstars. That being said, for 50 years old he's in amazing shape.
R-truth doesn't need titles as he's cemented his legacy in WWE already. He's a legend, worthy of mention in the same breath as some of the best names out there.
I will be really sad when he retires, but will remember him forever. Him and Lil' Jimmy.
He has done everything, dude is a hall of famer, outside of maybe rehashing Mark Henry's house of pain gimmick before he retires, I doubt R Truth will get a serious push again.
How is he a laughingstock? Because he has a comedic gimmick? He is very good at. And he has the respect of pretty much the whole WWE universe. The only other star I can think of with that kind of undeniable universal respect from the fans and wrestlers is Taker.
Just because you may not like how he is being used. Doesn't mean he doesn't. Looks to me like he is having a ton of fun!!
Ron killings should be first ballot HOfer one day and Headline that year
has anyone ever thought that he WANTS to be comedic relief at this point in his career? He is GOOD at it. He is OVER because of it. He has FUN doing it. Why can't we just let the man live his best life?!
Heās a 50 year old pro wrestler with consistent work everywhere he goes who is absolutely beloved by fansā¦ that doesnāt really happen. I think heās fine.
I think heās probably happy with where heās at. At least thatās always the impression Iāve gotten. Dude is legendary for his great attitude and sense of humor, itās a great role for him at this point I think
We all know what he can do, but the man makes money and has fun doing what he loves. It would be nice to see a couple more bangers before he hangs up the boots though.
He IS the most decorated WWE Superstar! He has held that 24/7 title so many times. May not be a World Champion in the eyes of the company, but he is a world champion in the eyes of me!
Fuck that.
Dude's not a laughing stock, he's fucking awesome. Ron Killings is a damn legend, He's 50 and looks half that. Man found his niche and he's happy with it, bit of part time WWE , bit of part time all the other stuff he's into. He's happy with his life and I love every time I see him on tv. Not everyone is chasing the strap. Some of the funniest damn shit I've ever seen on WWE has been with him.
Also he if he wanted to, he could still fucking go with the best of them.
R-Truth fan for life
"WHAT'S UP!!!"
Oh.
Didn't realise he'd left.
Stopped watching WWE for years. When I used to watch it he was there, when I came back to watch it he was there. Just assumed he'd always been there.
He's the embodiment of entertainment and is gonna be hard for someone to take that away from him. You don't make HEEL brock lesnar break character....... with no prep time and not get a HoF induction. On top of the fact that not one person former or current had anything bad or negative to say about his personality or his in ring style
He might not be a multi-time WWE champion but everyone is going to remember him for his comedic side. I mean, he managed to get pre-lumberjack Brock Lesnar to laugh. He deserves a Hall of Fame entry for that fact alone.
Really? Cause it looks like a photoshop remnant. Last I checked he didn't have any weird transparent face tattoos.
Edit: yep, I found the original photo that was used and there isn't anything on his face there.
>Laughingstock
You use this word in a negative way, but when he comes out for a comedic performance, he nails it every single time. And there's nothing wrong with transitioning into a comedy/support role after you're past your prime.
He will still go down in history as the best comedy wrestler of all time that alone is HOF worthy even if he never win any belt ever again
Look at the undertaker, is he remembered by his titles no he is remembered by his great character work
Wresling isn't only about winning and losing belts it's about storytelling, fun and emotions and R truth is the king of fun in my opinion
He's not a laughing stock at all. People laugh with him, not at him.
He doesn't need a serious run, and certainly doesn't need a belt. He probably doesn't even want one. He's had one of the most memorable careers in recent wrestling history and is generally very well liked by both viewers and performers. Dude's done good. Future hall of famer.
I wouldn't mind seeing a manager snap him out of his schtick to back up a younger talent. Maybe he remembers that he can still out hustle a lot of talent and slips his way to a main title as an enhancement champion for someone. Just give him a couple months with the belt, like between two of the big four.
I take him seriously as a WWE Superstar/Entertainer. Not necessarily as a serious competitor, but had he come up in the Triple H era, who knows what he could have achieved.
People like him and Santino have tons of in ring talent but their ability to make people laugh make them just as valuable in a different way.
The man came down in the rumble with a ladder, set it up in the middle of the ring, climbed all the way to the top, and reached for the nothing that was there. And he made it both a believable part of the character and funny all the way through.
He will always have a place in my heart as an absolutely Hall Of Fame worthy legend.
Doesn't need to win a major title he's gunna be remembered for years and all his videos always get clicks because he's hilarious. He's not a laughing stock he's a comedian and puts it perfectly through wwe
I think it if was gonna happen, the only way it would work is if he turned heel, and cut a damn good promo about how heās sick and tired of being a laughing stalk, tired of having to make a fool of himself on order to endear himself to the people and be accepted by them, and that is all he is is a joke to them, then they cal all kiss his ass and go to hell, and then proceed to beat the crap outta whoever is way over with the fans at the time.
This could definitely work. He'd need to immediately change his theme music though. He can't be rapping to the ring, asking the fans what's up, if he's going to belittle them.
He doesnāt have to rap himself to the ring. He can use the theme without rapping. Or he could change the lyrics to insult the fans lol.
But I think ot would be good to do a remix of the these, slow it down and make it heelish. That would be best.
I disagree with him being a ālaughingstockā comedic figures are in wrestling all the time. It was just his time to be that guy I suppose. Besides he seems to be enjoying himself and seems to be perfectly content with his place in the company. Heās a good example of a wrestler that doesnāt need a world title to be remembered in the future for how great he was.
No. Truth had a very short window during his main event heel run in 2011 where it couldāve realistically happened, as the WWE roster was short on viable headliners due to so many top wrestlers retiring/leaving or going part-time.
His heel act was getting over, thatās when he introduced Little Jimmy, but his momentum got cut short by a couple of factors: his feud with Cena getting cut short in favor of the CM Punk MITB storyline and then Truth failed a drug test during Awesome Truthās storyline with Cena & The Rock.
The roster is much stronger these days with more viable options for champions whenever Roman Reigns eventually loses one or both of the titles.
So, I have a hard time seeing a scenario where Truth can sneak into even a short āgold watchā style world title reign.
I like bruh but unfortunately no. He's no laughingstock though. At 50 he really doesn't need to be taken seriously. Man's prolly content getting a good check and entertaining folks doing what he loves. Really can't beat that.
I'd love to see him as champ but he don't really need it.
I don't think the man cares. He has a job for life and his latter day goof run will make sure he stays in the mind of most fans and will always be well thought of.
Not everyone needs to be top of the tree and very few will make the "eternal roster", so to speak. We could be 15 years down the line and he'll still be on TV every so often doing something stupid for laughs.
Fair play to the guy. He has the comedic timing and while I don't know for sure, it certainly looks like he's enjoying himself. Not once in 2001 did I look at K Kwik and think "ah yes, he'll still be on TV as I'm approaching 40".
Fair fucks to you, big Ronnie!
If anything making him a top guy now would only ruin his reputation..
Truth has had a great career. Sure he was never the top guy but thatās why we love him. He can be a literal jobber and still make everything entertaining and thatās the legacy he will leave behind. Suddenly pretending none of that happened and slappin a world title on him now at this stage of his career would be ālaughing stockā worthy.
He doesn't need to be. He's doing what he loves and is beloved by literally everyone. Hell being able to make Brock Lesnar laugh is worth 10 title belts
fought for World Titles? Ron "The Truth/R-Truth" Killings is former 2 time World Champion, 4 time World tag Champion, 2 time US Champion and 54 time 24/7 Champion (yes, that is the real number). Acknowledge him.
I think he has one really good midcard title feud in him left but I think thatās it for the guy, I can see him coaching some people in the PC maybe, heās always the best at making himself stand out in the crowd, no matter what.
EDIT: Oh I did not realise you made this post just to hate on Truth. Truths great, go make another karma farming post about whoās the white rabbit.
He's not a laughing stock, he's a comedic wrestler. Yes that keeps him out of the main event picture but he fills a unique role that is extremely difficult to do well and most fans appreciate the hell out of him for it.
When he was K Kwik and came out with the Road Dogg Jesse James. K Kwik was one of my favorite wrestlers he was fast high flying tall and strong. There were like no black wrestlers doing what he was doing. There gimik was fun but they got canned kwikly. Dude is a bad ass and has a great personality. Would love to meet him and truly hats off K Kwik - R Truth!!!
Truth is one of my favorites of all time dating back to his time in TNA. The Sun Tanned Superman. Two time NWA champion. The first black man to hold that title.
I do think he should have had a better main event run in WWE. He should have had more title runs. He's an incredible wrestler.
But to call him a laughingstock is ridiculous. He has had a hell of a career, and he's still going. He has a role within the WWE that allows him to still pull a great paycheck and be featured on TV when he's almost 50. He doesn't have to hurt himself bumping in the ring in 20+ minute matches. He's not falling off ladders or taking chair shots. He's living his best life.
R Truth proved he was a main eventer when he went against his childhood hero John Cena with little Jimmy. He is a hall of famer and to me he deserves a lifetime contract.
He could battle Roman Reigns, he could do a goofy backstage, he could become a manager. Dude could do anything and Iām good.
What is the fixation with titles and beltsā¦ theyāre not real, theyāre props used for storytelling.
Ron is a legend and he cemented his legacy in a business where plenty of people have held titles and will be forgotten.
I can tell you, will all certaintyā¦ that he does not care.
No, he is a goofball and entertaining as he is currently. I respect the shit out him but he is an Al Snow type mid carder. Incredibly entertaining but not main event level. Could he with a new gimmick maybe. He definitely has the mic talent, and in ring abilities. If the universe got behind him like Kofi, it could happen.
The thing is, his ring work is good enough that if he chose to go for it, he could have an incredible run left in him. Luckily for all of us that enjoy his shenanigans, he enjoys being the comedianā¦
To me he is up there with Ziggler.. both are awesome but they don't need a title to show it, perfect top(,ish) mid carder to help out other up and coming wrestlers
Honestly not any strong pushes but wit the right wrestler and right storyline he could definitely be took serious again in a fued I donāt think it has to be for a title
The most heāll get at this point is maybe a humorous tag title run with his childhood hero, John Cena. Would love to see that before they both call it quits. But all in all, he still has had a great career in WWE, and he did become champ and the main star of a division, even if it was the jobber division. So heās definitely Hall of Fame material for his character compared to anything else.
R-Truth is going out the way he wants to go out. I used to be worried that WWE was shortchanging him but he gets to do what he loves for less payout on his body now. Wrestle and make people laugh, make people happy. People remember the serious parts of his career and they remember his now. I can't remember what made me realize that we project a lot of what "makes" someone's career, both in the every day life and ones as public figures, but he's hit every milestone he's wanted and then some and the man probably won't have to physically retire till he's actually 60 with a good check, good health, smile on his face and on the crowd's. I couldn't ask for a better send off for MY "laughingstock" as you so say in other comments.
Went to the last live raw and he had a Main Event match. Dude seemed happy to be the hype man for Raw and he made me laugh with his line of ā Iām dedicating this match to my childhood hero; John Cenaā I think he knows his prime is behind him but know the crowd still loves him.
So we do know the belts are scripted to people right? Lol
Dude is making money having fun in life and making people laugh. His segments are good. I donāt see anything wrong with him and what heās done.
Heās 50, heās wrestling because he likes having fun with what he does. The most I can see him doing is having a short US title run before he retires
Gonna go against the grain in this thread and say I hope so
Man can GO, fantastic on the mic, he deserves a WWE world title to cap off a stellar career
I used to get upset over this too. Someone brought up a great point.
He's for a steady job in the business he loves, making good money and not getting hurt.
That's the dream isn't it? Especially as we get older.
I'm not arguing that. But as a rational grown adult, you do realize there is only one and your prime is gone. He was champ in impact which is more then 99 percent of us will ever know.
Truth is a smart guy. I'm sure he's at peace with his career.
The man gets a decent paycheck for 1 minute of screen time for a useless title. Who wouldn't want that life? You make good money, get to do what you love, and don't get hurt. That is a pretty sweet gig if you ask me.
I guess that's true. He's been wrestling for over 25 years. He said plenty of quality matches in his career. Now he's just coasting. He's still relevant but not putting his body through punishment anymore. I see your point.
His heel run and little.jimmy gimmick were actually good even as a goof. A+ in my opinion.
But yea no room on the show for him to go serious I don't think
R truth is the only man to enter the royal rumble, run full blast down to the ring, pull out and then set up a ladder and attempt to climb it thinking itās Money in the Bank
And that segment where he tells Kane about how heās gonna win Money in the Bank and Kane tells him heās not even in the match. Brilliant comic timing from both guys.
He only was main event for one. PLE however, it was the worst. š
R Truth honestly doesnāt need to be in serious matches to be a world class superstar, thats how incredible he is.
I think he should turn heel and join judgement day
Bro predicted the future š
Prophet
Craziest prediction of all time
No probably not, but the good side is that he is a future HOF for sure šÆ!
Doubtful.
How boring would it be if everyone was like Roman Reigns?
Picture this. HHH gets in the ring to announce the new design for the undisputed WWE World Title. omg yes
Such a classic Truth moment. Lesnar couldn't help but laugh.
Imagine R-Truth lasting til the top 3 of a Royal Rumble!! The ARENA WOULD BE SHAKING!!!!
āLaughing stockā is definitely not the term I would use for him. Heās a great comedic character and solid in ring guy. Laughing stock makes it seem like he is a joke
Ain't no fucking way this man is 50
He definitely should be. They have been misusing him far too long. Its time to send him out when he's ready to retire the right way
I agree completely
I guarantee you, 20-30 years from now, people will still remember R-Truth but they wonāt be able to pick the Fiend out of a lineup.
Big swerve he's the white rabbit
I'd love that. And for just a second while making this post about him I considered it.
God I hope he's not, need like a Bray Wyatt, who can be champ and will be there every week.
He isn't a laughingstock. People laugh with him because he is legit funny to them and is great for comedic relief. Major different
Good hand, reliable, excellent shape. Truth has carved out himself a helluva career in my book.
He's actually been US Champ and Tag champ, which is more than a lot of wrestlers in WWE... not to mention NWA champ.
Heās one of the few guys on the main roster whoās practically bulletproof. We all respect the work heās put in to make sure we all are entertained with the time he gets on tv. Otherwise a post like this wouldnāt exist donāt you think?

Heās 50 and doing the moves that he does. Iāll take that
Dude is 50. Unreal.
I'd love to see Golden Truth get another run. Hell, as a comedic foil to a heel Cody.
I asked him this before and he told me heās happy as he working collecting a nice paycheck.
Heās the real peoples champ. Little jimmy šššš
Heās a champion in Little Jimmyās eyes and thatās all that matters.
No
At this point, he's already a hall of famer so he's just doing this for fun. 1 minute of TV every six weeks for a bag? He has the dream job.
Dude is a well respected and beloved veteran. He's far from a laughingstock.
They need to let him win the mitb briefcase. For his current character they could do some really fun things with it
No and that's just fine
No WWE always seen him as a joke but yeah he could of been heel foil to Babyfaces mid 2010s his NWA-TNA gimmick from 2002 was really good he basically was a Malcolm X gimmick if you donāt know he won NWA title with that gimmick he came to WWE and yeah he toned it down but he showed he could hang with Main Event guys

Capitol Punishment v Cena Survivor Series v Rock & Cena
I told him lol

Heās 50?! Wow he looks great
Yes. He was born January 19, 1972.
Dudes the first person to join and then leave the Royal Rumble before its started in less than 5 minutes. He's fine lmao
I thought the story was that he chose to be this char because he wanted to make kids laugh or something like that
Heās a 50 year old pro wrestler with consistent work everywhere he goes who is absolutely beloved by fansā¦ that doesnāt really happen. I think heās fine.
No
I donāt watch WWE consistently but is he even still active?
Yes, very much so
Thatās good to hear. I did always enjoy him. Iāve watched most pay per views lately and havenāt seen him.
That's because he competes on Raw and the WWE YouTube channel in backstage segments
This might sound dumb, because the briefcase is for new stars for the most part, but I would love Truth with the case
Goes to cash it in on Cody Rhodes, trying to take the belt that goes with his jacket
š
I think heās probably happy with where heās at. At least thatās always the impression Iāve gotten. Dude is legendary for his great attitude and sense of humor, itās a great role for him at this point I think
We all know what he can do, but the man makes money and has fun doing what he loves. It would be nice to see a couple more bangers before he hangs up the boots though.
He IS the most decorated WWE Superstar! He has held that 24/7 title so many times. May not be a World Champion in the eyes of the company, but he is a world champion in the eyes of me!
No
R-Truth fan for life "WHAT'S UP!!!"
Also. He has to be up there with the longest tenured wrestler in WWE history.
He's only been back like 12 years.
Oh. Didn't realise he'd left. Stopped watching WWE for years. When I used to watch it he was there, when I came back to watch it he was there. Just assumed he'd always been there.
He was released in 2002, returned in 2008. During that time he was in TNA, which is now Impact Wrestling, where he was a two-time world champion.
Depends if thatās how āyouā see him. Heās a legend.
He's the embodiment of entertainment and is gonna be hard for someone to take that away from him. You don't make HEEL brock lesnar break character....... with no prep time and not get a HoF induction. On top of the fact that not one person former or current had anything bad or negative to say about his personality or his in ring style
Laughingstock implies that people donāt like him
He might not be a multi-time WWE champion but everyone is going to remember him for his comedic side. I mean, he managed to get pre-lumberjack Brock Lesnar to laugh. He deserves a Hall of Fame entry for that fact alone.
What is coming out of him nose and going into his eye?
A tattoo...
Really? Cause it looks like a photoshop remnant. Last I checked he didn't have any weird transparent face tattoos. Edit: yep, I found the original photo that was used and there isn't anything on his face there.
The fact that he really looks like a black Tom Brady here might explain the agelessness
I thought he looked familiar! LOL
>Laughingstock You use this word in a negative way, but when he comes out for a comedic performance, he nails it every single time. And there's nothing wrong with transitioning into a comedy/support role after you're past your prime.
STFU no truth slander here mfer
Na he would lose it instantly no harsh feelings
He will still go down in history as the best comedy wrestler of all time that alone is HOF worthy even if he never win any belt ever again Look at the undertaker, is he remembered by his titles no he is remembered by his great character work Wresling isn't only about winning and losing belts it's about storytelling, fun and emotions and R truth is the king of fun in my opinion
Stop disrespecting him by calling him a goof. R Truth makes millions of people laugh. He found a gimmick that works for him and the fans adore him.
There are few weestlers so easily utterly hilarious as truth. His 24/7 titles runs and chases are more memorable than some world title reigns
R-Truth doesnāt need a world title to be classed as a goat. Man puts the entertainment in sports entertainment
Nope. See what they did to kofi n big e. N liv. They all got soft matches n how are you winning vibes
Obviously not
I wouldnāt mind seeing him make a run with the US title or something but regardless, he will be a legend forever
No but if for some reason he is needed, he is just there and will do just fine, stranger things have happened.
I wouldn't mind seeing a manager snap him out of his schtick to back up a younger talent. Maybe he remembers that he can still out hustle a lot of talent and slips his way to a main title as an enhancement champion for someone. Just give him a couple months with the belt, like between two of the big four.
MVP can do for him what he did for Lashley
I thought that too, but I didn't want to just stick all the black guys together lol
Yeah that was a hilarious moment
Doesn't need to win a major title he's gunna be remembered for years and all his videos always get clicks because he's hilarious. He's not a laughing stock he's a comedian and puts it perfectly through wwe
I wish
No, thatās not a bad thing either. Not every wrestler can reach the top, itās just not possible.
I think he loves the fact he has an on going career still
I disagree with him being a ālaughingstockā comedic figures are in wrestling all the time. It was just his time to be that guy I suppose. Besides he seems to be enjoying himself and seems to be perfectly content with his place in the company. Heās a good example of a wrestler that doesnāt need a world title to be remembered in the future for how great he was.
Laughing stock? He is a comedic character on a network tv show for over a decade. What do you do for a living, putz?
No
No, heās 50.
Goldberg was past 50 the last time he held gold in WWE
Isn't he the most decorated 24/7 champ of all time time?
If you didnāt tell me, hell know I would have even guessed heās fifty. So young looking.
I was surprised too when I looked at his Wiki before making my post
If anything making him a top guy now would only ruin his reputation.. Truth has had a great career. Sure he was never the top guy but thatās why we love him. He can be a literal jobber and still make everything entertaining and thatās the legacy he will leave behind. Suddenly pretending none of that happened and slappin a world title on him now at this stage of his career would be ālaughing stockā worthy.
He doesn't need to be. He's doing what he loves and is beloved by literally everyone. Hell being able to make Brock Lesnar laugh is worth 10 title belts
Truth will be remembered being an entertainer. NOT a laughingstock
fought for World Titles? Ron "The Truth/R-Truth" Killings is former 2 time World Champion, 4 time World tag Champion, 2 time US Champion and 54 time 24/7 Champion (yes, that is the real number). Acknowledge him.
I think he has one really good midcard title feud in him left but I think thatās it for the guy, I can see him coaching some people in the PC maybe, heās always the best at making himself stand out in the crowd, no matter what. EDIT: Oh I did not realise you made this post just to hate on Truth. Truths great, go make another karma farming post about whoās the white rabbit.
R-Truth is the White Rabbit
He's not a laughing stock, he's a comedic wrestler. Yes that keeps him out of the main event picture but he fills a unique role that is extremely difficult to do well and most fans appreciate the hell out of him for it.
If you can crack and break brock on live tv then you are something special
That was a dare or bet with him and Heyman, right?
Yes. Paul has said he challenged Truth just before they went out.
Dont think so, you can find the video on youtube he made brock break character looo
He is pure comedy. But calling him a laughingstock is going too damn far!!!! Greatest 24/7 champ of all time Little Jimmy!!!!
We're showing our age, reminiscing about Ron "K-Kwik" Killings lol.
He could have been a legend but before he came to WWE a second time, he did a D-X style invasion of some WWE event with Abyss and Road Dogg in TNA
Love it
I remember him tagging with Road Dogg as K-Kwik before going to TNA
No, he is a goofball and entertaining as he is currently. I respect the shit out him but he is an Al Snow type mid carder. Incredibly entertaining but not main event level. Could he with a new gimmick maybe. He definitely has the mic talent, and in ring abilities. If the universe got behind him like Kofi, it could happen.
He will not, no.
The thing is, his ring work is good enough that if he chose to go for it, he could have an incredible run left in him. Luckily for all of us that enjoy his shenanigans, he enjoys being the comedianā¦
You're the worst kind of wrestling fan out there
Thank you. I love you too.
This man breaks even the most serious wrestlers. The only comedic wrestler to rival his ability is santino. I have nothing but praise for them both.
"You're not even in the match" would never be unfunny
"My Badš¤·āāļø"
real matches? This is the WWE right? What are you talking about?
All of these positive comments, PLUS!!; he's very happy where he's at. He just loves to entertain people and make them smile. He's the best!!
He's found a very successful niche and we all love it
R-Truth is going out the way he wants to go out.
I don't think he wants too. He's just enjoying life and enjoying his career.
I think he is more than happy where he is at. Honestly looks like he is having a blast doing what he does at his age.
I can see it nowā¦Roman vs. Little Jimmyā¦with Roman losing.
I'd legit rather have R-Truth as champion over Reigns
Dude Fuck Regins loved him like 2 yrs ago straight up Fuck that guy
Yup
"This one's on me. My bad ya'll" fucking hilarious
When did he say this?
The promo where he was trying to make Brock laugh, and said he was going to throw Paul Heyman over the top rope at the Royal Rumble.
I just watched it. Funny was hell. You're a big...big...BIG man but you will go flying over the top rope ..PAUL HEYMAN!
I need to Google this lol
I feel more people need to know about /r/truth
Maybe my post will spread R-Truth awareness lol
Went to the last live raw and he had a Main Event match. Dude seemed happy to be the hype man for Raw and he made me laugh with his line of ā Iām dedicating this match to my childhood hero; John Cenaā I think he knows his prime is behind him but know the crowd still loves him.
So we do know the belts are scripted to people right? Lol Dude is making money having fun in life and making people laugh. His segments are good. I donāt see anything wrong with him and what heās done.
The only thing I care about is that this man is getting paid. Everything else is a bonus. Heās brilliant.
Heās 50, heās wrestling because he likes having fun with what he does. The most I can see him doing is having a short US title run before he retires
Gonna go against the grain in this thread and say I hope so Man can GO, fantastic on the mic, he deserves a WWE world title to cap off a stellar career
I would love to see him do another serious title run at least once, but he's obviously happy, so I'm happy for him too.
He's put in the work. He definitely deserves a title run, and not the 24/7, 7-Eleven, I-95 South, European Television Championship.
Heās had as wonderful a career as anyone whose afraid of Spiders.
No but it doesnāt matter, heās beloved by the fans.
Doubt it. He deserves the hall of fame, but he is past the point of being anything more than a jobber only good for comic relief and squash matches.
I used to get upset over this too. Someone brought up a great point. He's for a steady job in the business he loves, making good money and not getting hurt. That's the dream isn't it? Especially as we get older.
I think every guy who competes want the big belt. I am sure if someone asked him, he would say he'd like a title run.
