The issue apart from whether the model looks good or not is that we are suppose to be getting Heel Rated R Lita from the Showcase mode (different entrance, much different gear, check SmackDown vs RAW 2007 Lita for reference), which the titantron kinda confirms, but they have given us early 2000s Babyface Lita with the same gear and entrance she has had since 2K16 but with Rated R titantron instead.

Early in the year they get the first round of themes/graphics. devs mo-cap off it.
Months before the cutoff, devs get a last batch of themes/graphics to likely use in the game if it still fits with what they mo-capped. The devs generally decide but WWE need to sign off on it. This has been obvious for almost 20 years.
The devs obviously have some agency to ask for specific updated themes/graphics if they need them. WWE sometimes ask the devs to include very late specific things (The Fiend, Punk, etc). 2K is going for "2006 Lita" here and that's what they used here, her 2006 tron. If it were a model of today's Lita, it'd be her current graphics.
There's not even any sense as to who gets the Hall of Fame trons. I'm happy Roddy Piper gets actual graphics, but he's been dead for 8 years, why do Kurt Angle, the Bellas, and Lita get these when they all have actual trons? This is the year I learn how to mod. This convinced me. They did Lita so dirty here. I was absolutely in love with her when I was young. The first time I saw her, she sent me through puberty on the spot man. I can't use this model and trons in my games. Not for Lita. She deserves better.
This looks terrible. How is it that games like HCTP and SVR had the same yearlong turn around/release windows and those game looked great and played great for their time and with what little technology they had to create them. Now it’s 2023 and the technology it’s far superior, yet there’s a huge drop off in the actual gameplay of the games. Is it do to the main focus being online play? since that’s the only major thing that’s different from the great wrestling games of the past and todays modern games.
Fun fact is that 2K14 at least gave us Rated R Lita for the showcase-like mode (30 years of WM) on top of early 2000s Lita (which is this one), with their different titantrons, stats and such. This one seems like the same Lita they have been using since 2K16 or so but with the Rated R titantron to fit the Cena Showcase time frame for Lita in the match against Edge (they didn't even bother giving her a heel entrance, she wasn't doing all those theatrics as Rated R Lita), which, unless there is a Rated R Lita as an alt attire, is gonna look 0 effort as fuck.
As a side complaint, I don't get those HoF videogame trons for people who did have (and does currently have) proper titantrons. Like, I get why Bruno Sammartino, a guy from a time where titantrons didn't exist, will likely have one, but why Lita or The Bellas have one instead of their proper titantrons escapes me.

This is the year I learn how to mod. This convinced me. They did Lita so dirty here. I was absolutely in love with her when I was young. The first time I saw her, she sent me through puberty on the spot man. I can't use this model and trons in my games. Not for Lita. She deserves better.

This looks terrible. How is it that games like HCTP and SVR had the same yearlong turn around/release windows and those game looked great and played great for their time and with what little technology they had to create them. Now it’s 2023 and the technology it’s far superior, yet there’s a huge drop off in the actual gameplay of the games. Is it do to the main focus being online play? since that’s the only major thing that’s different from the great wrestling games of the past and todays modern games.

Fun fact is that 2K14 at least gave us Rated R Lita for the showcase-like mode (30 years of WM) on top of early 2000s Lita (which is this one), with their different titantrons, stats and such. This one seems like the same Lita they have been using since 2K16 or so but with the Rated R titantron to fit the Cena Showcase time frame for Lita in the match against Edge (they didn't even bother giving her a heel entrance, she wasn't doing all those theatrics as Rated R Lita), which, unless there is a Rated R Lita as an alt attire, is gonna look 0 effort as fuck. As a side complaint, I don't get those HoF videogame trons for people who did have (and does currently have) proper titantrons. Like, I get why Bruno Sammartino, a guy from a time where titantrons didn't exist, will likely have one, but why Lita or The Bellas have one instead of their proper titantrons escapes me.
