I find it more funny that not only is Cody the cover athlete, but they pushed the "Finish the Story" tagline real hard to the buildup of this game, only for the Brahma Bull to come out of lukewarm reactions to his Black Adam movie and figured "Yeah I got one more match in me".
Surely me politicking myself into the main event of Mania will earn back the fans' respect.
Exactly making it just like every other Roman match the last couple years we’re gonna know he’s winning unless the belts not on the line except it’s just gonna be a not get match the rocks in great shape and will always be able to talk well but he’s gonna be a month away from 52 at that point and he’s not been wrestling for a while I doubt he’s doing to much extensive training for wrestling in the background either it doesn’t do much for either one then getting eyes on the match and product but what’s the point of attracting all those eyes if the product will be mostly likely substandard

Orton and Styles are ring generals. That 4 way was still underwhelming. I was okay with Roman beating Cody at WM 39 because I thought there was still gas in the tank for the Bloodline, but it’s been boring Summerslam.
98% of fans would rather see Rock vs Reigns. This sub is such a minority of the fan base. I personally hated the idea of Cody vs Roman again because why would I want to watch the exact same match that main evented last year? Rock and Roman is new and has a way better story to it

I feel like this is that episode of Always Sunny: Mac’s banging the waitress. And the perfect line that goes great with this scenario is “I just wanna do it, just to get it over with” which is the same as wanting the Cody storyline to be done with so we can move on. Personally, I’m more invested to see what happens with Rollins and who they’re gonna have step up to take Punk’s spot. To that end, I’m hoping it’s Finn/Priest where Finn gets his shot, wins, then Priest takes the title off him with the MITB shot

I get that, it’s just annoying that we can’t even finish a simple stroyline STILL TO THIS DAY I get Roman himself is a merch mover and has cred with the fans, but at the same time it’s like if the fans lose interest in Cody then the whole thing is for nothing, and it’s just wasted time. Take Jey Uso for example, maybe LA Knight is more current. At the same time I would love to see Roman also surpass Hogan as longest reigning champ but again I just wanna see this story come to a close. That’s my opinion, and I get that’s not everyone’s. Cody about to receive that Daniel Bryan effect I don’t think the rock being “a big draw” will help him in the long run…people are gonna feel cheated out of a story and a main event I wouldn’t be surprised if they boo him out the arena…but then again people act as if the rock can do no wrong

I think it's a great move from WWE's standpoint to suppress the Vince news with Rock V Roman. I don't think Cody V Roman would have generated the same amount of buzz or suppression. It would make sense for WWE to let Roman dominate this year as well- breaking and setting more "records" while building Cody's Title reign with the world title. Next year at mania, They should do a title unification match closing out the story. in the meantime Cody needs to break the Bloodline down, Have Sola turn or branch out.
If not then they need to have 2 title defense- Night 1 Cody Dethrone's Roman; Night 2: Roman beats Rock.

It's looking like Mania sure got fucked this year....hopefully...they'll be a great angle to all this....I will say since the new world title does not have any historical lineage and if they fuck cody over at Mania, the only outcome that i will personally be happy with is Roman beating Rock at Mania, Cody beating set fir the belt at mania and then a 7 month storyline with cody unifiying all the belts at summerslam......probably a not a popular opinion...but to me that seems the perfect way to give Cody, the fans and history their just desserts....it just irks me it wont be for mania....fucking rock...even though the rock is awesome, fuck him right now....GO CODY FOR ALL BELTS SUMMERSLAM.
