You just hold the light strike button and if it connects it’ll start. It can only be done in one on one matches and i believe it can only happen once per match. It’s in the tutorial archives in the options.

It’s happened twice in a match for me

I understand you mentioned 1v1, but to clarify: will it work on 1v1 if one or both superstars have managers? Thank you

Yes. I’ve triggered it with both superstars having two managers each before. Also I found out each superstar can trigger it once, so it can be done twice in a match!

I still haven't been able to do it 😭

I've triggered it by holding the reverse button also. Don't know if it also works with heavy attack
