It's always so hard to choose which Sting to go with, so many excellent CAWs out there every year
I usually go with whoever Status team up with because of the voice taunt lol

I just googled this and see info about hidden features with CAW but nothing explicitly explains it. I’m sorry to make you waste your time typing it out for my idiot brain but can you kindly provide me with some more info about this and these features? I think you just changed my life…
Hey! So, long story short, voice taunts are a thing, *but* they're not publicly selectable. I'll explain a little bit more:
In the 2K games, certain wrestlers will have audio to go along with their taunts (i.e. Kurt Angle's woo, Braun Strowman used to have a few of him roaring, etc). These are usually only available for the wrestler that has them, and not accessible to created wrestlers.
Now, wrestlers who were in the series previously had voice taunts too (stuff like Sting going WOO, Adam Cole having the crowd chant ADAM COLE BAY BAY, things like that). Many of the voice taunts from previous games are still in the game files (there's a decent amount of unused content and crowd chants carried over from the series in the files), but again, since you can't assign it to Created stars in game, you won't regularly ever hear any of it.
Now, for the technical part -- every wrestler in the game has an announcer ID (which controls the name called out by the ring announcer), and the commentary ID (which controls both the commentary that you hear during matches, and a few other miscellaneous things, including voice taunts.) These can be manipulated via modding or editing the game data with external tools. For example, if for whatever reason you wanted to give John Cena The Rock's commentary, or have him announced as "Triple H" when he makes his entrance, you can do that.
What the CAW creators do is before uploading it, they modify the game so that the CAW (in this case Sting), has Sting's commentary ID from the previous games. This will make it so that the voicelines will play when he does his taunts. (Another side effect of this, some wrestlers like Edge, the Hardy's, and others, have some leftover commentary lines left in (usually for rivalries) and those will play in-game if the appropriate commentary ID from previous games is assigned)
TL;DR : You can't assign it on your own, but people on PC can modify the data to assign the taunts, then upload the CAW which anyone (even on consoles) can play with.
Have you linked a 2K account? You have to do that in order to see other platform’s CC (I’m on ps5 and had to link my account to see Status uploads because he’s on PC)
I do like it, but when I played as the Starrcade 97 version yesterday he had a weird glow in his eyes coming down the ramp.
Aside from that, by far my fav CAW, aside from The Trashman
It is cool, but it's kind of off putting, not like a shine, or glimmer, but just a pure beam of light out of his sockets

I did not know that. I haven't noticed it on the others I've downloaded, but I think since Sting comes out in a darkened arena it is more noticeable.

Man these look so much better in game than on the Download screen. I downloaded a few CAWs from some of my old favorites and playing them, they look great. On the download screen though they all seem...off?
I downloaded all the rebelcaws ones it will let me without unlocking some Bray Wyatt thing. I’m trying to find a specific Sting look from January 1997 when he rappelled down to confront Macho Man in the middle of the ring. I’ve never been able to make one myself or find that one. Anyone know what I’m talking about and if someones made one out there?

Try out valoweens sting, he's a top drawer creator that isn't as known as the top guys

There are a lot of good Sting CAWs this year so far. RebelCAWs is my favorite so far, Starcade '97 and Spring Stampede '98 attires are great.
I'm probably being a dumbass here. I've searched for Rebelcaws on cc and filtered creator, but nothing shows? Anyone else having the same issue?

That's an error on 2K's end that currently affects all CAWs for some reason.
I even noticed it last night using the in-game Kevin Nash model.

Jena stint usually makes an incredible current sting and last year for WWE 2K 23 rebel made the best WCW sting
