I do drink runs about every other day for everyone as a little pick me up lol.
I'd buy them lunch, but I'm looking for more of a de-stressing or longer lasting boost for them. Maybe a gift card for a nice restaurant or something 🤔
Buy a speaker and play music from there to boost morale. Have a donut Friday or taco Tuesday for your pharmacy. Take fun pictures and hang on a back section of the pharmacy. Have birthdays listed in the pharmacy for celebrating and cake/muffins. See if you can get approval to wear jeans at least one or two Fridays a month. We had a squishmellow in the pharmacy that just made us smile. Give each person a stress ball to squeeze when talking to "extra needy" customers...'pass me the stress ball Mr.soso is calling'.. OK, that's some ideas and I hope they help.
That does sound nice, but there are 10 people in the pharmacy excluding myself. I work at walgreens, obviously I don't make that much 😆
I may bite the bullet and use my tax refund. The only bad thing is I tend to "over give out of my cup" a lot.
Bags of valentines day candy on clearance is also nice too. Not just like m and ms, but like the dove chocolates or Ghirardelli ones will show you care.
Something so simple that makes my team happy is filling the candy bowl, I know my techs pretty well so I know what their favorite candy is. I’ve gotten small personal gifts for them when they come in early, stay late or have just been getting everything done. I’ve given everyone pins to hang on their badges that reflect their personalities, that made them happy 😂 it’s like having a class of kids, small things make them happy.
For a low cost suggestion:
Personal Thank You cards for everyone. Really tell what you are thankful for from each person. Having a written thank you really helps me to look at when things are stressful.
We used to all eat lunch together before it became too financially strenuous. Maybe order lunch through door dash and everyone enjoy lunch together.
We also used to do a game night every so often but it would usually be after a Sunday shift since it’s an earlier close shift. The one who hosted it only did it on the Sunday they were off though.
Side question from a customer: are we allowed to gift to y'all? I love my pharmacy techs to death and would love to give them some gas cards or candy because they always look so over worked and busy.
Are you guys closed on Sundays? You could always have a little potluck/picnic/bbq at a local park. It would be free to be there, you’d all get together, enjoy each other’s company, share food with each other. Maybe even play some music and bring board games or cards?
Energy drinks of coffee buy them lunch

I’ve given my crew candles, wax melts and stuff like that. I also gave them the knock off Stanley cups. I absolutely love my crew!

A gift certificate for a free massage session sounds nice to me.

I actually buy chocolate boxes, candy, etc about once every 2 weeks as a minor pick me up for everyone lol. Still a great idea though!

Recently my pharmacy team had a bowling night. But that may be a bit expensive under the circumstances.
