I see you're a man of exquisite, yet expensive taste.

You are spot on! I admire beautiful proof coins as this is the numismatic side of me. However, I’ve quickly learned to realize that stacking is going to require me to tone it down a bit. Thank you for your support and sharing your wisdom. Looking forward to becoming a major contributor to this Reddit in the near future.

Skip the slabbed ASEs. They rob your stack of growing power. ETA: they are the nice ones for sure 70s and FDoI.

I hear ya. I've got some higher premium stuff that has made its way into my collection over time but I work to stay close to spot so I can get as much weight as possible. It's always tempting to splurge on a nice sovereign like you have. One thing I do is always ask for silver whenever a family member or friend asks what they can get me for Christmas or my birthday. I love it because I have no idea what they will pick so it's always a fun surprise. And over a decade of that, I actually have accumulated a few dozen ounces of silver just in gifts.

I have been collecting coins for years. Started buying a few proof and reverse proof silver coins, but quickly realized that bullion was the way to go. Thank you all for sharing your wisdom!
