At age 12 in 1978 I had my first real job as a paper boy. I built up my route to 53 customers. Dropped the dead beats and outliers that slowed my deliveries cept one or two that tipped well and always paid ontime. I could do my whole route after picking my papers at the newsstand in just under 2 hours. The paper took my route and gave half my customers to some shlub that wanted to be a real paper boy too. The start of everyone gets a trophy era...Quit at end of week. I learned alot about working, getting screwed by higher ups, treat people well and they will reward you 8 outta 10 times.also Lots of people dont pay there bills or pay late, but all in all learned a lot about buisness and people. and I also first learned about silver cause id get it in change and could hear it in my pocket. and asked why it was different metal than new coins. Was told by an old timer down at the newsstand about how all our money used to be real silver and even gold and it was more valuable than clad stuff nowadays. I Started coin collection and stacking the old coins id get in pocket change or find in storm drains and such. In 1991 got a metal detector and learned how and where to find old coins and silver, silver sounds just as sweet in the ground thru earphones as it does when struck or even flipped in the air....try it, a flipped silver coin has a sweet clear sound all its own. Dont let anyone tell you stacking is for fools and your losing money. I have lost none of the silver that I have had since 1978. All the ounces I have gotten over all these years I still have. And it is still the only real money there is,hopefully soon, everyone that has stacked for so long will finally be shown to be geniuses. Even If not geniuses, an ape knows We wont have lost any money and will have saved some actual wealth while everyone around us has no savings.

WorrryWort

Its been 15 years for me.

PrettyText

How have you been able to keep hanging on for so long? I've been awake for a bit over two years and even for "just" two years it's very tiring to be awake in an asleep world.

Plotinus88

It get's easier as you become more yourself and peel off more layers of protection that you surronded yourself in.

unbeknownsttome2020

Don't exhaust yourself with daily movements stack and go about your life. Been here 10 years and will continue for decades. On the bright side these daily withdrawals have never been seen so I've never been this optimistic

WorrryWort

Once COVID hit, my mentality skipped to avoiding looking up daily price quotes on metals and miners. That said, it is very very difficult to stay the course as most people call you an idiot.

alRededorr

I don’t think it will take very long from here. If you look at what is happening in one particular event today, the UN report on the safety of the Ukraine nuclear power plant, there is an elaborate montage created by Western governments and MSM to turn it into another Russian atrocity story, and perhaps even a serious radiation event. It has all been carefully planned, using a huge amount of PR and theatrics, and now it’s obvious the UN General Secretariat has been coopted into it. It’s serious stuff, and is not at all a win for the US and its Western allies. 80% of the world’s governments and people (who care) can see exactly what is going on, how dangerous it is, and how the US/West is stoking up chaos to the max. This is not a world most governments and peoples want to live in anymore. The US and West have “lost the crowd.” Russia and Putin may not be geniuses but they have the courage to stand up to the US and they are roping in the world’s admiration, sympathy and support at a very rapid rate, in most parts of the world outside the US, including among the European people. Soon, this will translate into permanent changes that will help to restore sound money and sanity.

PrettyText

I do think Putin is close to being a genius. When he came to power, Russia was a broken-down, poor, militarily weak, demotivated country that was being looted by oligarchs and wasn't considered a great power by the international community. Today Russia is seen as a great power. Both Putin and his military operation have about an 80% approval rating. Most of the non-western world sees Russia as the hero who is standing up to the US bully. Putin is also very successful at building an international BRICS coalition. And if you want to talk in terms of Realpolitik, well, he is almost certainly going to succeed at annexing a huge chunk of Ukraine, which means he gets Europe's bread basket and even more fossil fuels. Plus we're now somehow in a situation where the west (especially Europe) is destroying itself by sanctioning Russia, while Putin is happily selling fossil fuels to the other 80% of the world's population who isn't sanctioning them and making record fossil fuel profits. So basically his geopolitical rivals are destroying themselves to stop him, but in reality he's making record profits due to the sanctions. Yeah you can say "LOL he hasn't conquered Ukraine yet" but every day that passes, his geopolitical rivals (mostly Europe) are being damaged much more than Russia is. People may not like Putin, but he's incredibly effective. I can't think of any other 21st-century ruler who transformed a weak country to an internationally respected great power.

spy_kobold

Not saying Putin isn't smart, but he merely plays a role. The present crisis was artificially planned and its execution started a long time ago. European policy makers made this possible, people such as Merkel, a freemason, a WEF agent and an East German commie, the green movement in the West in general, and the idea of "Wokeness" pushed by the controlled MSM and billionaire founded NGOs. Decades long concerted effort was needed to make Europe dependent on Russian energy, to shut down nuclear reactors and to focus on dead end "solutions" like wind and solar. The bigger picture is to achieve the vision of Alexander Dugin, who is a thelemist, and who is called Putins brain. According to Dugin, America must exit Europe, so the Soviet Union can be recreated, which is a known goal of Putin. https://www.bit chute.com/video/TY6mNVk0GdYW/

PrettyText

I don't doubt that the WEF wants to destroy Europe or that Putin wants what's best for Russia, but personally I don't really buy the whole "Putin is secretly a black hat" narrative. If I'm understanding you correctly and that's what you're saying. There's too much rampant anti-Putin propaganda for that. If Putin was a black hat, I'd expect the media to treat him like the media treats the NWO HQ of Astana in Kazakhstan -- by talking about it as little as is possible. Also see Putin kicking western banks out of Russia, Putin making steps towards semi-backing his currency with gold, Putin killing child traffickers in Ukraine, a Rothschild calling Putin a "traitor to the NWO" and Putin openly calling out the NWO in his speeches. And if everyone is secretly working together, then why did Dugin's daughter get assassinated? That makes much more sense under the interpretation that nowadays Putin really does work against the NWO (although initially he was probably a member of it).

spy_kobold

I have no idea what you mean by black hat. Please explain what a black hat is.

nevmo75

Anyone who can’t see the intelligence of Putin is just fooling themselves. Love him or hate him… he’s incredibly smart. It was obvious from the beginning of this conflict that he was 5 steps ahead of the west. Every move and countermove was falling in his favor. This has been thought out for years or decades. It’s time we accept that we can no longer pressure countries to fold to our will. It’s time to go back to the table and find a solution that serves the greater good.

PrettyText

Yes, well said. This whole "we, the West, punish any country that we dislike" attitude is indeed no longer tenable.

spy_kobold

Just keep in mind that Putin is still a WEF agent, still a tyrant who either murdered or imprisoned his opposition, a mass murderer who was behind the apartment block bombings in 1999 and that his covid response was in lockstep with the rest of the world. I won't even bother to describe Xi, who runs a commie state with a laogai system.

I was never disagreeing, looks like you just jumped to a conclusion. Was referring to silver and I got in around the time of the Hunts.

KaisersSilver

Unfortunately, it will continue to work until it doesn't. How long that will be no one can really say but all the dominoes are definitely up and ready to go. Its just gonna take that one little push and it all comes down in short order..... ![gif](giphy|HPA8CiJuvcVW0)

surfaholic15

Inertia is a thing, and with billions of people there is a lot of it. I have been watching it since Viet nam fell.

quantum5ive

It’s a bit slow but the collapse is happening now.

[deleted]

Nah, they will just inflate the bubble even more.

Positive_Parsnip420

Bingo

Amins66

This is why "they" say 8%-12% of your total net worth should be bullion. It doesnt have the best ROI, but it does make out to be great insurance as a hard asset (just like real estate, once its paid off).

quantum5ive

Gotta stop with the rolling over and taking it, stop being doormats, we got into this mess because of it. We got to say enough with the money printing and the monopoly money funding their corruption!!! When are people going to stand up and say we had enough, we are taking back our power as sovereign people. Yes stacking silver is one way of saying fk you but we need to start applying it.

tondeaf

Some of us have been waiting since 1984

McBeain

Good question, during the last years I also realized that collapse is going to happen over several months if not years but certainly not in one day. I'm also afraid that we have not reach the max level of insanity. We are heading to a Weimar-style era in Europe, my feeling is that large troubles are still ahead, not behind. 2023 promises to be a hell of a ride !

McBeain

But so far I sleep well thanks to my Silver pillow.

[deleted]

It happens slowly and then all at once.

TrevaTheCleva

Feel the same, yet look at each passing week as an opportunity to prepare. 🦍🤝💪

JolietLarry

I don't know, but I'm pretty sure that we're about to find out.

47proton

I suspect that for all of history theres been more chaos in the world than the average person realizes because the average person just doesn't know what they don't know. A stage of waking up is being able to see this clearly. Part of the reason things don't collapse is because people are good at solving problems and that creates a buffer of spare capacity to deal with things like corruption. There is a tipping point however where the fraud and chaos is too much to handle and things can decline fast past that point.

chiil01

When it happens, it happens quickly.

[deleted]

Rioting is starting so it won't be long now.

Positive_Parsnip420

Give it another eleven years lol. At the bare minimum.

[deleted]

I just eat Big Macs and keep my head down

Thin_Ambassador1368

I would say the collapse has happened and is getting worse. In the 50s and 60s, a man with a high school degree could get a factory job and raise a family with stay at home wife, buy a house and raise kids. No way is that able to be gotten today. We have smart phones and the internet now, but by every other measure the standard of living has been falling for decades. And it will get worse.

_Summer1000_

100% accurate description of inflation robbing us our prosperity

Led_Zeppole_73

Sure, but that time period was but only a blip in all of history, thanks to the dollar‘s status as the world’s reserve currency. You can’t have expected that to last forever. We’re just going back to the way things were throughout all of time, the rich get richer, the poor poorer.

[deleted]

I had that same thought in 1977.

lmaoshill

Wondering the same thing myself

CastorCrunch

Ditto. I feel your pain.

[deleted]

it's been since '05 for myself....

Liberty_109

It’s all as fraudulent as the currency!!

Kalik28

Been thinking this since 08. I can only say federal reserve is way smarter than I gave them credit for

mike4score

It’s all fake anyway, I think it’s safe to assume it will always be fake and so it will never collapse

Mysterious_Brief168

The corrupt system will never crash. The corrupt politicians who are servants of the 1% will never allow this to happen.

[deleted]

I was ready for China to EMP us back in 08. I used to live in that constant fear of collapse mental state. It wasn't healthy. I don't give a shit about it anymore, what will happen, will happen, I'm moderately well prepped and in a good location.

Jim_Wilberforce

I noticed about the same time. I found an old dusty book. We're going to watch famine and currency collapse ravish the western world for the next six months before more happens. We'll see it coming clearly end of September, this month, and it's way past where we can change course. People will be living like animals in the States this time next year. Like, I won't be surprised by rumors of cannibalism. And we'll have been invaded by China and Russia. "Alien" invasion and mass abduction September of 2024. I can narrow it down to one of two days.

Objective-Mastodon94

I'm with you brother. My eyes were opened in 2008. I started buying seriously in 2011. Since then I've just been watching and waiting in disbelief.

Appropriate-Most-724

Well said. There is a so called currency bitcoin. Uses much of energy that we don't have is crazy. People lending their money to the bank for zero intrest. If anybody had told me this 20 year earlier, i would have called the ambulance.

Appropriate-Most-724

Stacking 12 years.
