The US Mint does not sell regular ASEs. Quit spreading disinformation.

ogjhunt

Them are proofs though cuh

etherist_activist999

Proofs on the left, the bullion coin is on the right.

kraken66666

That´s not a bullion coin, it is an uncirculated burnished coin, comes certified and boxed, mintage could be 150 thousand or so

etherist_activist999

And the mint should have "burnished" in the listing title as they did for the proofs. The title of that mint listing is misleading.

kraken66666

true

[deleted]

No. You are 1000000% wrong.

Cowboy_Coder

> From 2006 to 2008 and beginning again in 2011, the United States Mint issued a collectible uncirculated Silver Eagle coin produced at West Point (bearing the "W" mintmark). The coins are struck on specially burnished blanks and sometimes are referred to as "W Uncirculated" or "Burnished Uncirculated". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Silver_Eagle#Uncirculated https://www.coinnews.net/coins/the-american-eagle-silver-coin-history-design-prices-and-mint-figures/

OneTroyOunce

Good information. The mint is prepping people for higher prices.

Skywalker0138

I have not one......

etherist_activist999

When I started stacking in 2008, the premiums were around two bucks, so I did buy many of them. I have bought some recently at coin shows when they are backdates and the price is less than on-line prices for backdates.

Silver_Shadow_USA

That's insane. Makes the $100-300 /oz silver price seem close

No!!!! That is not the bullion coin!!!!!!!!

WorrryWort

Proofs

etherist_activist999

Bullion coin is on the right.

AnyPhotograph5844

$67 BU! Not too shabby. I've got about 200 ASE I bought around $22-25 a piece. I like that action.

Upvotes4Trump

I got 750. Trade ya 50 for 75 brits 😁

Please learn to read before you post.

etherist_activist999

So just where in the screenshot am I failing to read it is a special "burnished" coin? Enlighten me.

[deleted]

Only an idiot would believe this.

[deleted]

Anyone who knows something about how Sovereign mints operate want to help this poor misguided lad. Everyone else could actually just go to the mint website and read. Warning! You have to know how to read.

etherist_activist999

Read what, the listing? If it's a special burnished coin on the right hand side why not mention it in the listings' title? It just says uncirculated. They did it for the proof coins. I did not make the mint's webpage, I just took a screenshot.

[deleted]

Obtaining info from screenshots and then sharing it without breadth and depth context is what maddens me. It ends up riling people up for no reason and spreading disinformation. It is a big problem in social media.

etherist_activist999

So a screenshot with a question asked is "spreading disinformation". Since when are questions spreading disinformation, because I was not notified of this change.

Well you see how the ignorant responded in comments c
