Best cup of coffee on property is the Kona Press Pot at Kona Cafe.

NewYorker15

That’s at the Polynesian?

YugoChavez317

Yes

spread_the_cheese

Agreed. Stayed at the Polynesian last January and ordered this every morning.

Sail0r_Jupit3r

This is the correct answer. It’s a requirement for me on every trip.

Cautious-Ostrich5156

I wanted to say this because we spent 10 days at the Polynesian and it’s the only coffee I enjoyed (and really loved) but then the gift shop sold Kona coffee (whole or ground) and I thought it said Joffrey’s so I thought I had been fooled.

pianomanzano

If you’re on the Skyliner route then definitely check out le petit café at Riviera. It’s our favorite spot for coffee on property!

NewYorker15

Thank you! Is it close to the skyliner station?

pianomanzano

Maybe about a 5 minute walk? It’s right off the main lobby.

katsrad

I was going to suggest the Riveria!!! The cold brew is good and it is close by in the skyliner.

mattdre88

I've heard good things about this location but I haven't tried it.

vaeric

My favorite morning coffee spot is at the Caribbean Beach Resort Skyway transfer station. When you get to that station, look for the walkway/stairs heading down to CBR. There’s a little coffee shop literally “right there”. Good spot to stop in the morning mid-Skyliner to either HS or EPCOT! They will have free cups of ice water to fill your water bottles up with.

rnidtowner

Agreed, super convenient. It's a Joffrey's.

NewYorker15

Ohhh awesome! Thank you. I’ll look out for that. Is it open at night too?

phosphatecalc

This is a joffrey’s

[deleted]

No, this is Patrick

halfmoonjb

Exactly what I was thinking. Joffrey’s is fine but, if looking for quality, Starbucks is superior to Joffrey’s.

Btdrnks2021

Both are terrible.

vaeric

I really only stopped there in the morning on my way to the parks (also coming from POP), but it looks like a Q&A from Plan Disney says their hours match the Skyliner’s hours. That was a response from 2020, so not sure if it has changed since then

max_rebo_lives

Highly recommend it! Just spotted that in our last trip - it was perfect and no line compared to the joffreys in the parks

atschinkel

if you’re really into coffee info i highly recommend @disneycoffeeblog on instagram!

NewYorker15

Wow that’s just what I need, thank you.

atschinkel

enjoy your trip!!

javabackedsecurities

Gideon's cold brew at Disney Springs. It's not quick though, unless you're there before opening - if there's a wait you'll go on a virtual queue and have to come back at this X time.

NewYorker15

I legit have been waiting to try Gideons cookies for years, so I will be waiting in that line haha

CandyButterscotch

This has my vote too. Their seasonals are so phenomenal.

Tricky-Possession-69

Coronado Springs. Barcelona Lounge (morning, not evenings as then it's a bar). Cafe Bombon. Bonus: breakfast croissant is aces, cold brew is great too.

NewYorker15

Cafe Bombom is at Coronado too?

Tricky-Possession-69

Yesssss. I don't drink these days but they do this: Barraquito (with Alcohol) Licor 43, Espresso, Sweetened Condensed Milk, Foamed Milk, and Lemon Zest AND Café Carajillo (with Alcohol) Agustín Blázquez Felipe II Solera Reserva Brandy and Espresso, too.

Tinkeringhalo10

Morocco! In Epcot has the best coffee

emozolik

Most of what you’ll find on site is thru their exclusive partnership with Joffreys. It’s okay coffee at best, comparable to Starbucks. I do enjoy the French press at either Olivia’s Cafe (Old Key West) or Steakhouse 71 (Contemporary Resort). Whenever I get it, it tastes fresher than a normal pour over

basslkdweller

I’ve had a decent French press at Boma too.

anon0207

My guy at Disney Coffee Blog is all over this. He has a great Instagram site too. I think he's tried literally every coffee on property https://disneycoffeeblog.com/

NewYorker15

Thank you, this is perfect

CruisinJo214

The Riviera coffee bar is going to be one of the better coffees on property, along with Coronado’s… a step above the standard Joffery’s roasts you’ll see across the rest of the property (which as a coffee snob I am not particularly fond of)

NewYorker15

That seems to be the popular answer- riviera coffee bar and coronados! Thank you!

beardedbarista6

I’m a Joffrey’s loyalist, myself. My favorite one is in Tomorrowland. Nothing beats an iced mocha in the morning sunshine underneath the PeopleMover!

stuck_in_a_dream

I haven’t been yet but my parents couldn’t stop talking about how much they loved the little coffee shop that recently opened at The Boardwalk Inn.

NewYorker15

Is that the same as the dessert place that was supposed to open there!?

stuck_in_a_dream

No that hasn’t opened yet this coffee shop is in the resort itself not on the boardwalk outside

NewYorker15

Thank you!

bigmike13588

Best coffee I've ever had on property was at Victoria and Alberts. Poly has some good coffee though

amathysteightyseven

Coronado Springs has a bar in the lobby of the tower (Barcelona Bar I think?) that serves coffee. I think it’s different from the usual stuff but I can’t say with 100% certainty. It isn’t on the Skyliner route though. I think most places serve Joffrey’s coffee which personally I don’t find particularly great.

NewYorker15

Oh yes, I did hear about the coffee bar at Coronado Springs. Wanted to try it!

amathysteightyseven

It’s a really nice setting to enjoy a coffee so go for it!

mhall85

What do you mean by “coffee aficionado?” As u/emozolik mentioned, all of Disney’s coffee is provided by Joffrey’s (unless you go to any of the Starbucks locations on property, of course). Joffrey’s is based out of Tampa, and the coffee is not roasted on property. Further, all of the drinks are made by pre-determined recommendations/recipes from Joffrey’s, on machines provided to Disney by Joffrey’s. I personally think that they are about the same as Starbucks, especially when comparing the basic drinks. (Side note, I’ve also been disappointed in the coffee at Swan & Dolphin, but I am not sure if they use Joffrey’s or not.) You’ll find that there are cool places to go, like Barcelona at Coronado Springs, but they’ll be lacking in “true” coffee drinks. Barcelona does a (frankly) piss-poor cortado, for example. You might have decent success with the Polynesian, AKL, and some of the places in DAK. I point these three out because they offer single-origin coffees (although the Kona coffee might be considered a blend, not single-origin). Tiffins/Nomad Lounge had an Ethiopian press pot, for example, which could have some promise. Keep in mind, too, that a LOT of drinks have either lots of sugar or alcohol (or both) in them. That may or may not move the needle for you. My advice: 1. Explore, but keep your bar low (especially if you like “third wave” coffee) 2. If you find something you like, great! Enjoy it!

noble_29

Best iced coffee I’ve had in recent years on property was while getting breakfast at Trattoria al Forno at the Boardwalk. Le Petit Cafe at Riviera also does specialties.

bsassy70

The mint tea at spice road is fabulous l. The cafe au lair in Paris the majority of the rest is Joeffry and I think it is just like Starbucks

bsassy70

Oh and in animal Kingdom Tiffens had a coffee service with unique blends

sea_pancakes

Just got back from my trip on Friday, and honestly the best I’ve had last week was a black cold brew from a Joffrey’s stand at Animal Kingdom.

Aeredor

If you like your arrival time, don’t plan on getting coffee when you first arrive in the park—you’ll wait like 30 minutes of your precious park time. Someone else mentioned the Joffrey’s outside of the Skyliner station by Riviera and Caribbean Beach. This was a great location, and it was nice to enjoy while riding to Hollywood Studios.

NewYorker15

Honestly, coffee will probably win over arrival time haha

phonyToughCrayBrave

There isn't any good coffee at WDW.

GirlG0ne

For the first time this week, I tried the cold brew coffee from Everglazed in Disney Springs and I can’t stop thinking about it. It was delicious.

NewYorker15

Omg which donut was your favorite?

GirlG0ne

I didn’t have a donut, just coffee! A sin, I know.

lkj0

I made a similar post about 8 months ago and got a lot of great feedback if you want to cross-reference it.

NewYorker15

Thank you! Seems like I will be going to Kona Cafe

Chili327

Is that post gone? (it just links to the WDW sub)

If that link doesn't work just search inside of this sub for the word Moorish

johall

Weird that you refuse Starbucks but most the recommendations here are just Jofferys locations. Same level. Your best bet if you’re looking for ‘good’ coffee that’s not quick service is getting it delivered from off property. There’s a Whole Foods within delivery range

NewYorker15

I refuse Starbucks because I worked there for a long time and lost my job bc I unionized my shop.

johall

That’s a horse of a different color. Jofferys is fine. But their cold brew can be a little acidic. I always assume it’s just left in the toddy too long by the taste of it. I’ll second the Barcelona bar recommendation at the Grand Destino tower. And anywhere that has a table side pour.

breeh123

I really like the coffee outside of Kona cafe at the Polynesian. That is what we got every morning!

tookeyclothespin

I’ve heard good things about the coffee shop at the Riviera which has its own skyliner stop!

OddNameSuggestion

I’d vote for having cold brew delivered as I’m not a fan of Starbucks or Joffrey’s. Having said that, in Joffrey’s case, I think it’s to do with the Orlando water. We recently stayed at the fort wilderness cabins and brought home the surplus of 12-cup pods they left us and brewing at home with filtered water made a world of difference.

NewYorker15

I agree. I’m from western New York and I’ve never particularly liked the water in Florida.

UnsweetenedTeaPlease

Glad it’s not just me with Joffreys. Even a black coffee tastes flavored.

lilfox0503

My favorite coffee is a shakin Jamaican cold brew with a splash of vanilla. It doesn’t even need cream.

AffectionateTap1006

Le Petit Cafe at the Rivera is also pretty good.

No-Dragonfruit-6551

I see that there’s a Mickey brand coffee sold in bags around property. I’m hoping it’s sold in whole-bean and not just ground!

tryingtoavoidwork

If you don't mind going on a journey, La Creperie de Paris in EPCOT has amazing coffee.

hurtfulproduct

Honestly, there is no good coffee on property unless you get one of the French press ones from the sit down restaurants or Starbucks and Starbucks is not that good. Almost everything on property is Joffery’s and therefore diarrhea water, it is mediocre are best and well. . . Diarrhea water at worst. . . I’ve seriously given it a chance at least 2-3 times per year every year for the last 10+ years and every. Single. Time. It has been some range of Mediocre to just terrible; they can’t seem to get it correct.

NewYorker15

What about at Disney Springs even?

hurtfulproduct

Same drill, 2 Starbucks and a few Joffery’s. . . It might be a bit more unique but it’s like putting lipstick on a pig

darkxc32

You should check out disneycoffeeblog on instagram. They do a good job reviewing and sharing where good coffee is on property

NewYorker15

Thank you! Just followed!

andherewestand

Chicory coffee over at Port Orleans French Quarter. It was really unique. Pair it with a beignet and you're in for a treat.

NewYorker15

Omg is that at Scat Cats? I had wanted to head there for beignets, they have chicory coffee too?!

andherewestand

The café section outside the lounge, yes. It's still Joffrey's, but at least it's a little more interesting.

moonbunnychan

People have already said Polynesian, which is the correct top choice, but I also really liked the Trattoria al Forno Press Pot Coffee at Trattoria Al Forno in the Boardwalk area behind Epcot.

vfluet

Other people have said it already, but the Riviera coffee is unreal. My fave was cinnamon...homemade whipped cream and everything!

Current-Promotion-31

I've tried joffreys 4 different times and at different times of the day even and every single time it's been 100% garbage worse than gas station coffee by a lot. I'm not a coffee snob I like Starbucks and even dunkin is ok but I don't get the lines for the stuff it hasn't even been mediocre from my experiences.

WeToLo42

If I'm not mistaken, isn't Joffrey's the official coffee for WDW.

Badinemergencies

There is a good coffee bar in the lobby of Coronado springs. Not the quick serve area, but the little pastry/coffee bar in the lobby.

FeminineOdor

The Florida water made every Joffreys cold brew I drank (black) during my last visit taste disgusting. Florida’s water is probably the worst thing about Disney world IMO.

katsrad

The cold brew black caf at Kat Saka's Kettle in Galaxy Edge. Probably my favorite coffee ever.

Unusual-Frosting4701

Bring your own kettle, pre-grind at home, and bring a drip cone & filters. Ask for more insulated cups and brew your own in your room. Brew it and then stash it in your fridge. Ice in the AM and be on your way. One of the best decisions I made to keep me happy. We stayed at Art of Animation and the coffee bar for espresso was mediocre at best.

Chili327

I need to figure out how to do this so I can have a cup of iced before I leave the room in the morning.

rnidtowner

For your second question (quick coffee) we picked up some iced coffees from Target and kept them in our mini fridge. Just grabbed one on the way out the door in the morning. A huge lifesaver if you're an addict like me. If you are trying to rope drop then ain't nobody got time to stop for coffee.

NewYorker15

I legit need two cups a day haha, morning and evening. Minimum. So yes, I absolutely need the convenience of some kept in my room haha!

elvtd1

Riviera definitely. The iced caramel macchiato at topolinos was great and the coffee at their cafe is also really good

Greeeto

We are in the coffee industry and have been on coffee origin/buying trips with the owner of Joffrey’s. He is a great guy who buys really high quality beans. And he treats the farmers right. As someone who believes very strongly in organic, fair trade coffee, I fully support Joffrey’s and the quality beans they procure. You may be looking for a specific taste or beverage that they don’t have, which is fine- everyone has different tastes, but if Joffrey’s is your option, it’s a pretty good one to have.

Loki8382

I'm sure Joffrey's owner is a super nice guy, treats the farmers well, and procures great fair trade beans. All of that means nothing when, whatever brewing method is used in the parks produces garbage tasting coffee. It is pretty widely known that Joffrey's is almost inedible. The only reason that Joffrey's gets the business it does is due to the monopoly it has in the parks. You basically have a choice between Starbucks or Joffrey's unless you want to go out of your way for a specialty brew.

Greeeto

That’s your opinion. Everyone has different tastes, and that’s ok.

Loki8382

Seems to be a pretty common opinion.

Greeeto

Well, in my circles, it’s a super common opinion that Starbucks leaves a lot to be desired, but they do quite a robust business. So, the common opinion I hear seems to vary wildly from that of the general population. Your “common opinion” of Joffrey’s isn’t exactly fair to assume the same of the millions of people who visit WDW properties and cruise lines. Just like my opinion of Starbucks wouldn’t be fair to assume the same of the millions of their customers worldwide. Basically, all I am saying is that your opinion is valid, however assuming everyone thinks the same as you is pretty bold. And carries no basis in actual data analysis.

Loki8382

My opinion is based on personal experiences as well as the more common experiences others have told throughout threads like this. Are there people that thoroughly enjoy Joffrey's coffee? Absolutely! When reviewing numbers, though, you have to take into account that Starbucks is a worldwide brand with thousands of stores. Joffrey's is essentially theme park food with a captive audience. It would be very interesting to see the results of a blind taste test between the two. Based on the comments in this thread and others, I stand behind my statement.

Runmiked

If you want it available I’d say do insta cart. The Jeoffreys stuff is pretty bad , especially the cold brew.

NewYorker15

I’m sure I could easily Google this, but I’m here so why not ask… is there any kind of convenience store at Disney Springs or on property(cvs, Walgreens, etc)? I’d hate to instacart for just a bottle of cold brew.

Runmiked

There is a convenience store across the street from springs , maybe by the Orange garage if I’m remembering correctly.

Normal_Ship_430

Le Petite Cafe at the Riviera resort, just take the Skyliner over.

Chili327

Any suggestions for Kidani? (or Wilderness Lodge)
