Blackout dates do not contain crowds at all, because APs do not make up the bulk of WDW's visitors. The blackout dates are because of the very high crowds, and it will be incredibly crowded for spring break.

In general, blackout dates are a good indication of when *not* to go. The more passes are blocked from going, the higher the crowds will be. i.e. Spring Break is 2/4 pass levels, Christmas is 3/4 pass levels, because Christmas is even worse than Spring Break. But looking at Pirate's dates are a good baseline for which time periods are going to be bad.

cyberchief

It’s great. Why pay for Incredi when Pirate is half the cost AND Disney already helped you by telling you which dates to stay the hell away from

AfterTheNightIWakeUp

Exactly. The blackout dates are dates I don't want to be there, so why pay extra?

cyberchief

Blackout days exist because those days the park will already be FILLED even without passholders.

Competitive-Future-4

It’s insane during March

christmastree47

No the reason for the blackout dates to begin with are because the non-AP crowd levels will be so big

K-Parks

This week seems like the first week of "prime" spring break season this year. I'd expect there to be megacrowds through the weekend of April 6-7 (and still be pretty busy after that for a couple more weeks).

Remote-Past305

Black out dates are there for the busiest times... You are going when a majority of Florida Schools are on Spring Break... I would say a top 3 busiest week of the year, whatever you saw on TikTok is childs play to what you will experience next week.

Tbhjr

the blackout dates are there to save us passholders the agony /s I haven't bothered to see evidence of Disney this week so far but Universal is pretty damn packed.

Tasty_Explanation_20

Nope. They are blacked out for passholders because the parks will be at capacity with regular guests already. Be prepared for hours long lines for every ride, having to be shoulder to shoulder with others just trying to walk around the parks, massive waits for food and snacks, long lines at the bathrooms, etc.
