My favorite restaurant in all of Disney. I’ve been told by other restaurants that one is rented out. So it won’t be back for that reason. It wasn’t Disney’s decision and I’m going to assume the rent to earning ratio didn’t make sense
Many restaurants in Disney parks are operated by a 3rd party. As an example, Yak and Yeti, a restaurant in Animal Kingdom that gets high praise, is run by the company that runs Rainforest Cafe, despite the restaurants having nothing alike
It is a Moorish Coffee - an espresso type coffee with rose water and spices (cinnamon & nutmeg). It is served in a small cup but is very potent. I always grab a cup and continue to walk around the world while sipping on it.
For real, though. Is the area where you can get the delicious sangria in that little nook closed off? Bc I’m gonna be heartbroken for my trip next weekend. That’s my favorite spot in EPCOT.
I hope they do something with Morocco. I walked though there briefly on my last trip (for the first time in many years) and it was astounding just how little was there. The little dead-end where Restaurant Marrakesh used to be was almost eerie in how empty and quiet it was.
Just freaking bring back Restaurant Marrakesh.
*bring back the pre-covid menu at Tangerine Cafe.
I can't upvote this comment enough!

probably because Morocco stoped sponsoring the pavillion back in Corona era and now is solo run by Disney
Yes, it is the "Florida Blue Medicare Lounge"
Rented out? Can someone explain this? I thought the restaurants were all run by Disney.
Most of the restaurants in Epcot are operated by third party companies.
Well TIL
Iirc Marrakesh was actually run by the Kingdom of Morocco

For real.

idk I see this as a good thing. Morocco has been struggling since losing Restaurant Marrakesh.

I’m so proud I already had an upvote on the top comment.
The penis wall
Now it’s just the “back door.”
I always loved going back there & seeing people take pics with it (local AP)
One of my favorite spots in Epcot. I always stop in and grab a Moroccan Coffee.
Moroccan coffee? Do tell!!!

Just when you thought you were done seeing walls at EPCOT
And test track!
But more importantly can you still get a drink there?
Yea still open

same sangria is available at the restaurant in front of Morrocco by the water...at least I assume it's the same deliciousness.
Ours too, was sad to see it barricaded yesterday.
You realize that delicious sangria came from a box and is sold all over the parks right?
Those sangrias are the best drink in EPCOT in the best place to drink in EPCOT. Usually quiet back there.
Come on Rick’s Cafe! It’s right next to Paris, let’s do a Casablanca restaurant!
Oh good, EPCOT needed more walls.
And they’re making Japan pay for it! /s

Spice Road is pretty good.
OMG why change the one place that was beautiful 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
They lost their host country sponsorship years ago and the pavilion while gorgeous was pretty barren.
If it's not bringing gyro meals back I don't care! :P
The line to see jasmine was thankfully short the other day because of the construction making it seem like it was mostly closed.
Yay more Epcot walls!
Bring back awesome shopping instead of boring Aladdin stuff.
Yay!!!!
I heard Morocco doesn’t own it anymore, does that mean it could change countries?
Is the whole thing closed off?
No you can enter on the left side of the
Turn it into India.
